Pickup was on time. Pre-tour instructions were very detailed (restrictions on what you can and cannot bring onto the base). Art our driver was very informative and fun. Great to see Pearl Harbor, the US Arizona memorial, and the Missouri. Nice day.

We liked seeing the Arizona, visiting the museums and especially the Misouri. Time allowed was just right. Our tour guide Robert was very knowledgeable and enriched the experience by telling us about things we passed on the drive.

Pearl Harbour Tour

Katrina_P, Mar 2026
An amazing place but we found the tour didn't give us enough time and we missed out on a few things. You need at least 6 - 8 hours if you want to do everything at Pearl Harbour. Pick a tour that gives you entry to the Aviation Muesuem. We didn't include this and went back at a later date. It was amazing so worth the trip. There is a lot of food options over at the Missouri Vessel site, the Pearl Harbour visitor centre only has snacks. Our tour guide Ro-Ro was amazing and extremely knowledgeable.

Revisiting History at Pearl Harbour

Ruth_S, Mar 2026
So much to see. This history in America touched so many lives and to see it presented at Pearl Harbour gives one feelings of heartbreak and pride in our Armed Forces. I was not disappointed and feel that every American should experience this Tour. Our tour guide "Robert" gave a great narration of places of interest, Hawaiian nature and interesting facts on the way to and from Pearl Harbour. He made our experience both informational and fun.

Just okay

Melissa_F, Mar 2026
The tour did not include enough time to see everything at the area near the monument. The information on when to see the movie and take the boat was very confusing. Too much time was spent at Mighty Mo. The tour guide, Art, was very knowledgeable and interesting.

Only clear bags of certain size on Navy base. Your information not clear and when I called wrong information given.

Time

Carrie_M, Mar 2026
Not enough time spent on the Missouri to explore on our own. I think if we went to Pearl Harbor on our own we could've seen more. The Arizona Memorial was very somber experience Thank You for those who serve!!

Spectacular experience

Good tour, driver knew a lot about the island. Driver was on time, explained how everything worked, what times to be where and repeated to be sure. 14 people to the van, so not overly crowded

A must!

Meredith_B, Mar 2026
Wonderful displays and informative. The driver had fantastic energy and was very knowledgeable. We appreciated his efforts to provide great information about the entire area, from the time we got picked up to the drop off after the tour. We wish we’d had one more hour at the Memorial and one more hour at the Missouri.

We had a great driver tour guide. Jeff from Karma Tours was friendly, Knowledgeable and funny. The Missouri is a must see and The Arizona is beautiful and the park is well kept. Definitely a must do while here in Waikīkī

Good tour

Carrie_H, Mar 2026
Our tour guide was great and the tour was very good, I think more time was needed to explore the submarine and the museum or options to include a longer.

Karma management irresponsible put people in danger, Viator refuses to take responsibility

A_J, Mar 2026
March 12 2026 Hawaii governor declared state of emergency due to severe weather; schools, businesses, roads, closed in entire state. Viator/local Karma tour operator did not cancel. Morning of we emailed and called from our cruise ship to confirm, “Pearl Harbor is open, tour still on?”, told yes. Driver Jeff was wonderful but the entire experience HORRIBLE, sideways rain and high winds, trees down, streets flooded. Pearl Harbor tour was NOT running (after repeatedly being told by Karma/Viator it was), we were left at Pearl Harbor by our driver, Jeff, because he was doing double duty and were drenched and freezing when he returned Over 2 hours later (remember he was doing double duty). Extremely limited tours on USS Missouri then it too closed and Ford Island shut down leaving half our party stranded outside in 60 MPH winds, driving, sideways rain with trees/branches falling. (God bless Jeff and another driver for working together to get everyone reunited. ) We were already drenched from waiting 2+ hours at Pearl Harbor. Getting back in several shifts was dreadful in reverse with flooded streets, torrential rain and general chaos. Karma tour’s management was irresponsible and put people in danger, Viator refuses to take responsibility and we have canceled any future Viator bookings. Beware

Horrible customer service

billblack7171, Mar 2026
The tour operator cancelled the tour the morning it was scheduled. The tour guide lied about our tickets being accepted for the next seven days at the Arizona memorial. They are now refusing to refund us and Viator has also refused our refund.

Canceled due to weather. No refund

Travis_S, Mar 2026
The tour was canceled do to weather. Have not been able to get refunded. Difficult to talk to someone about this.

Terrible experience would be a kind description of our tour.

Vicki_F, Mar 2026
Do not depend on Viator or their partner Karma Tours to cancel in the event of bad weather. The Governor had declared a state of emergency due to high winds, rain and flooding and our tour was not cancelled. We were picked up at our port by a tour bus and dropped at Pearl Harbor and left for 2.5 hours in pouring rain. The boat to the monument was cancelled and we had no alternative but to wait in the pouring rain for our tour bus to return. I texted the driver and he was running another tour and could not return until our designated time. When we were finally picked up and taken to our second stop, The Missouri, we were left again only this time the bus never returned to pick us up. We had to find a Missouri employee to call for a shuttle to take us back to the Arizona to catch a Karma Tour bus as we later were told they were not allowed in to pick us up due to State of Emergency due to bad weather. We were at no time offered an apology or a refund. We expected a full refund from Viator as they were who we booked the tour with. A terrible experience! Beware! We will not use Viator tours again! This photo was as close as we got to the Arizona.

Arizona and Missouri

Sharon_B, Mar 2026
Our guide was on double duty, so he left us, and then came back almost two hours later. It wasn't his fault it was raining and windy, so they wouldn't let us go out to the Arizona, but he shouldn't have left us.

Riding into the belly of the beast (Kona Storm 3/13/26)

Janet_R, Mar 2026
Our tour guide Jeff was amazing. He was the best part of our tour. A Kona storm was happening & the tour company would not refund our money so we went against the advice of the governor, who had asked tourist to stay off roads & hunker down in our hotels. There were downed trees, flooded roads, power outages, & schools were closed as well as public offices. By the time we had gotten to Pearl Harbor the storm had increased in strength. Rain was 1-3” per hour with winds gusting at 50 mph or more. The ferry had already canceled 1 trip across to the monument. Ours got to go due to wind slowing down. As we got closer it took 2 attempts to dock then park ranger said we couldn’t get on monument. They changed their minds & let us go I guess because we had made it that far. The ferry had to leave because it became too hazardous for them to stay docked. After being told to quickly make our way through the memorial we were then stranded with the storm picking up again. About 15 minutes later they were able to dock again to pick us up. After our ferry made it back they closed the Pearl Harbor Memorial for the day. I feel the tour company put money over safety by not canceling this tour. There was debris in the water as well as choppy seas. The gravity of the memorial was not lost on us but certainly would have not gone if we could have been refunded. It is beyond me to understand why we would be put at risk with this once in a few years storm. I understand that I am ultimately the decision maker for my own safety but when the governor is telling everyone to stay home or in your hotel then your companies need to access the situation better. Karma Tours did not care enough if at all for our safety. I chose also to not recommend this experience to a friend because I don’t have a good one to compare it to. Mahalo to our tour guide who would keep us warm on the bus with the heater.

Two THUMBS Down - A tour that never happened and a refusal of refund.

Stephanie_B, Mar 2026
Tour operator cancelled at time of expected departure. Operator and Viator refusing to refund and gave us an option to “reschedule” the day we fly out as the only alternative. So in short, tour was cancelled, the company refused to provide services paid for and they’re expecting to keep $520. Thankfully, banks fully recognize this happens often and we’ve successfully started a “Chargeback” process with our bank. As customers, we understand things happen but to cancel a tour and then refuse to provide a refund is unacceptable. This will be the last time we use Viator or any of their vendors for travel experiences moving forward. Save your self the chaos and unfair treatment and book with Pearl Harbor directly.

No interest in guest safety only MONEY!

Frank_B, Mar 2026
Tropical storm karma did not cancel your to Pearl Harbor very unpleasant to work with our return trip to the area will book with hotels direct never again with karma tours it was a group of 9 people . Still charged me. I will fight the charge till death. Unfair business practices

Eh

Stacey_H, Mar 2026
Our driver was really great - Jeff / however he was working a double in terribly inclement weather and our group got stranded on Ford Island after the Missouri closed early. Everything was closed and we didn’t get to do any of the tour.

Memorable experience
