This luau was a perfect addition to our short stay in Oahu before getting on a cruise. We enjoyed the authentic experience from the food to the culture to the language to the dancing. Fire spinning was the ultimate end of the show.

Beautiful lua experience! The Botanical garden setting made the experience extra special. The food and overall vibes were on point. My husband and I came for our anniversary and they even gave us special lei to commemorate it. Highly recommend!

The experience is fun, entertaining and even educational. The food was good. The staff was amazing and put their all into every part of the presentations. Everything was done to make the guests feel as part of a family. The show was wonderful - hula dancing, warrior presentations and the finale fire throwing. All amazing! I would highly recommend!

Worth every penny. Beautiful men and women performing and looking after us. Very talented dancers and singers and the drummers were exceptional. Captured the Polynesian cultures so well with stunning costumes and performances. Great food and drinks and cultural activities. The event was brilliantly organised with no gaps or waiting around. Would love to keep the lei forever and the headband too but we cant take them back to Australia.

I throughly recommend the Toa Luau. It's not cheap but the food and show are excellent and the Waimea Valley setting is beautiful.

The show was amazing, so nice to see the culture being carried on. The food was great and all you can eat. Go hungry, we went to the afternoon show and did not eat anything else that day. The valley is absolutely wonderful just like heaven on earth. Take swimming attire for the pool of water at the falls. They do have changing rooms at the falls.

It takes over 1 hour and 45 minutes to get there from waikiki with traffic. But it is worth it, the show and food are great

Our experience was wonderful. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. They learned our names and made sure we had everything we needed. We are traveling with our baby boy and they made sure he had more than enough food and fun!

Lovely evening. Food was good and nice large servings. The entertainment was great and kept the kids engaged. I have been to other Luaus before, but nothing compares to the Tao Luau.
Regina_D, Apr 2026
A definite to do. Food was excellent. Entertainment was top notch. Cast and servers stayed after show ended to talk and answer questions.

Contact them ahead of time if you have dietary needs like vegetarian. Also- the ticket includes the opportunity to walk through the botanical gardens and visit the Waimea waterfall. If you are going for the evening show then you can go a few hours early to enjoy the flowers and waterfall.

Such an action packed fun filled night! Fun for the kiddos to learn to peel a green banana with a stick, to crack open a coconut and drink it then shred it, even the teenager got up to practice the dance. The food was so good especially the pulled pork and coconut cake! But Eddie the MC was the best! So funny. Good for special needs kiddos -specially the fire part. Well run organization. Even the “worst” seats at silver level were not bad. Gluten free plate was lovely!

One of the best luaus I've ever been to. The experience was comprehensive and enjoyable from beginning to end -- activities, dancing, music, great energy, etc. Would recommend for anyone who's been wanting to experience or bring a loved one to experience a luau to book this.

I've been coming to Oahu since 2006. At least six trips. For various reasons. I've been trying to get to Waimea Valley Falls for a while. Finally made it with my family. It was awesome! Worth every penny!... And we tipped! The food, music, activities (interactive), performances, and drinks (yum) were everything and more. Even the comedic bits, the timing and laughter, the history shared about the culture. You will not be disappointed. Not to mention, I'm newly married and they even acknowledged that with a cute little "ceremony," exchanging loving words with my wife. We did it on our last day, which left a lasting impression on our teens. But hey, go on your first day and set the tone for the rest of your trip. Either way, you're going to love it! BONUS: Swimming at Waimea Valley Falls is included. So after the Luau (we attended the 12:30 session), we hiked/walked up the hill (it's paved and they offer shuttle service for a fee), then swam in the falls! Lots of cool things to see and explore on the walk up. Places to sit, photo ops, etc. They also have a snack bar and restrooms halfway. Need I say more? Just go! Thank me in your head later. Lol!

Wonderful experience all around! The waterfall was amazing, the food was delicious and the entertainment was first rate - really liked the fire dance

What an awesome experience! Food was outstanding, entertainment was exceptional and the friendly employees and entertainers were the icing on the cake. Would highly recommend Tao to everyone and we have attended many luaus on different islands. This was the best!
Leah_S, Apr 2026
Excellent experience- worth the drive to the north shore. Superior entertainment/ activities. Plenty to keep kids busy.
rashidabasrawala, Apr 2026
Great show and the staff was so sweet and accommodating to families! Food was also awesome and they had a handful of activities going on to keep guest occupied before the show

Best luau I’ve been to- been to three others. I appreciate the way the evening was arranged. You first get hands on traditional experiences like grating coconut, dancing, braiding palm, or cracking a coconut. Then the group gathers for a welcome. Once everyone is seated, the welcome continues sharing a bit about how one group of people would interact with the other. Then food is served (not a buffet, but served which I really appreciate), and finally the staff performs dances from all around Polynesia. The performances were great and you could see the difference between different cultures in their dances for sure. Our evening finished with an energetic fire dance by a professional, the group, and even a younger performer (13 years old, I think). Overall, it was a very enjoyable night for all of us to experience some native Hawaiian and Islander culture.

100% worth it! I was worried we would be let down especially because of the cost but it was amazing!!! I would recommend to anyone! Fantastic experience.

Toa Luau was absolutely incredible. Family friendly fun that walks through the islands of Polynesia and the food was great. Lovely staff and workers. Really enjoyed every part of it.
Tashiana_R, Mar 2026
The entire event was done very well. The show was excellent, and the food was delicious. I also really enjoyed the demonstrations.
sandra_b, Mar 2026
This was my first luau and it was all I expected. We were greeted with smiles and felt welcomed. The performance and food were outstanding. I appreciate that they offered second helpings of food if you wish. I do suggest that the activity portion should be a little more organized so that attendees can enjoy more than one activity.
Nam_B, Mar 2026
The most amazing educating experience. So fun and a great variety of entertainment. The kindest group of people.
