The performance was great. It was well organized and the food was excellent. The fire entertainment was best part of the show. If attending on a weekday, allocate additional travel time for rush hour traffic.

Great show, well coordinated and executed. Entertaining and fun for the kids. It feels like a smaller, intimate event which is nice. Not too crowded.

This was an awesome, interactive and informative luau. The food and drinks were all delicious. The Royal Package was well worth the money.

A bit of a wait for getting in the door and for the bar, but other than that it was a great time. Good food and great show.
Riane_F, Jul 2026
The chief is a great emcee. Dry sense of humor. The performances were amazing and the fire dancing was absolutely jaw dropping.

Second time back and the show was just as wonderful as the first time. Chief is absolutely hysterical and mixes his comedy with stories about the culture. The performances are amazing and the food is incredible! I 1000% recommend chief and his o’hana!

It was a great family event, fun and entertaining, engaging and personable! They gave a dance for each journey ( islands) and told a little story.

Everything was amazing! The show was wonderful, the food was all so good, including people from the audience to join, my kids and us had a great time! Also their story behind the show was so inspirational. Something we all will remember, and going to this on our last night in Hawaii was icing on the cake of our entire trip! Must do!

Be prepared to laugh and enjoy some very good authentic Polynesian food. Very organized and inclusive. Even in the rain, most of us wanted to stay until the end.

Second time enjoying luau. Still fantastic. Changes were made from 2021 until now for the better. Process was organized and well thought out.

So fun! Would highly recommend!! It was well worth it! Entertaining and the taro rolls were so good!

The fire guys were AMAZING. The male and female dancers were pretty good. The chief was a pervert. Luckily, the youngest person in our group was 15. Took women onstage to hit on them and make them twerk (could have been considered slightly normal if he didn’t add so many sexual innuendos such as telling them to “turn around.” He also made men go up and pelvic thrust). It became awkward because he had random men and women come onstage and do questionable things, some of which came up at the end to celebrate their WEDDING ANNIVERSARY. 😂 we ended up laughing hysterically, but it was partially to ease the major discomfort. Love the culture and raw talent, but the sexual tension was so unnecessary.

Great entertainment, food options could be better. Fun night for my husband, myself and our 8 and 14 year old boys.

I booked this luau from a friend’s recommendation, and I absolutely loved it! The chief made the whole experience lively and exciting, with so many activities to do when you arrive, delicious food, and tons of performances throughout the night. Both of my parents were so happy and said this was their favorite experience in Hawaii. I highly recommend coming to chief's luau!!!
Kendall_B, May 2026
Incredible luau, best one I’ve ever been to! The cast was funny, welcoming and inclusive to all ages. It was a great experience.
Howard_G, May 2026
Chief and his family were very entertaining,’ and gracious hosts. We enjoyed the entire presentation and highly recommend this event to anyone looking for a luau feast
Linda_B, May 2026
This was amazing. The dancers and fire warriors were awesome. The chief was a great story teller of their culture and beliefs. Lot's of hands on activities prior to their presentation. Cool to see them make baskets out of palm leaves. Overall a great experience
Warren_K, Apr 2026
This was in every way average. The famous Chief was disinterested on the night that we attended. Spent most of the evening yelling at the sound guy. The buffet is very far and very ok, half is taken away as soon as everyone makes their first trip through. The whole night was very rushed, no where near 3 hours. No time to get food/drinks, just have to miss part of the show. Restrooms are even farther. BRING BUG SPRAY. We were eaten alive for the entire night. Also do not show up at 5:15 when they tell you to, you just stand in the parking lot till 6p when they pull a plastic pig out of the fake ground. For $400 for my wife and I, waaaay overpriced. 3 stars because the rest of the performers were great.
