Such a fun and immersive way to learn about Hawaiian Polynesian Islander culture not only were you learning but a true admiration from the people and the beauty and the food 10 out of 10 experience my almost 2-year-old loved the fire dancing, and the hula. Great MC and great core family values.

Royal Package not worth it!

I had high expectations for Chief’s Luau, especially after paying extra for the Royal Party package—but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to the upgrade. The “Royal” package really only gets you a few feet closer to the stage, early access to the food line, a $5 shirt, and a lei. Before we even arrived, we received a message saying they didn’t have the shirt sizes they originally advertised, which was disappointing from the start. On top of the already higher ticket price, we had to pay an additional $13 for parking. While we were given three extra drink tickets, they only applied to soda, beer, and wine. When I ordered a lava flow, it cost an additional $30 out of pocket. Photos were also not included and cost another $35–$50, which felt excessive given the premium package price. To be fair, the show itself was enjoyable, and the food was okay—but nothing particularly memorable. Overall, the standard package might be worth it for the experience, but the Royal upgrade leaves a lot to be desired and doesn’t justify the extra cost. I wouldn’t recommend paying more than the basic package.

The experience began with a cooking demonstration’ we then proceeded into the grounds for pictures. We were given directions to our seats and told where to go for our complimentary drinks. After getting our drinks, we were given fresh coconut and we able to get tattoos, start fire and make fresh headbands. I loved all of the interaction. We then headed to a delicious buffet and listened to music during dinner. Then the fantastic show began. It was so informative and entertaining!!! I Loved the whole experience!!! Great job!!!

It’s a great experience, especially for those whose first time on the island. The whole staff was super nice and friendly and tried to make you feel like ohana. Food is okay, not great but the vibes make up for it. The chief is hilarious and super entertaining! Loved to hear him storytell. The dancers were absolutely amazing. This was my second time and highly recommend!

If I could give it 10 stars I would! We had a wonderful time and will be coming back. My partner, Rob, learned how to shake his apple, papaya, coconut and banana. The drinks were on point. Restrooms were clean and close. Staff was AMAZING and attentive. Food was spectacular! We had our fire going in less than a minute. Our temporary tattoos were a fun addition! This was an incredible experience from beginning to end. First, the food was really amazing, everything was flavorful and had a big variety. The staff were all so kind and welcoming. The show was second to none! The music was really beautiful and every part of this show was so beautiful. The dancers, both the hula and the warriors and the way the Chief shared the history and the culture of the Hawaiian people made this whole evening so special. This is a DONT MISS experience and I spent a lot of time researching all the possible luaus and time after time I kept coming back to this one. Thank you to the Chief and his family and staff for a truly unforgettable night!

Great show. Everyone was nice, food was delicious. Great display of merchandise they unfortunately packed up before i could make it back to the table with my partner. If I had to message a complaint it would be the fact they charge to park in a parking lot that only has their event going on. I understand spreading cost but that nickle and diming.

Not so special treatment

The fire show was excellent. However I was not happy with my over all experience. I paid for 6 people to enjoy the Cheif Luau on Christmas 2025. We were made to feel less than because we did not pay for the green or purple tier. We were handed a flimsy shell leis and only limited to 1 drink that could not be the specialty drinks they offered. We were in orange group which was the last topp11111 enter the park so when I attempted to pay for the specialty drinks for my 3 adult children I was told they only had 1 pinapple left and 1 souvenir glass. Last year My husband and I visited the Island and attended the TOA Luau, everyone was treated the same and received the exact same leis. In addition we were able to hike through the luau sanctuary to see its beauty and learn additional things about the culture. The food was also better at Toa un my opinion.
