Good experience

This was a good experience. The coach bus was very old and dirty unfortunately, this made the drives not as comfortable. I hope they update their buses, because I wouldn’t want to do this tour again on that bus, maybe the other buses are cleaner and newer. The tour took us to great places, the tour guide was knowledgeable.

Husband and I had a great time. Seamus was pleasant and knowledgeable. Shared his knowledge about the Hawaiin culture in easily understandable fashion. We took our time and it felt like a personalized trip. Hiked to then Swam in the waterfall, watched the sea turtles and a local coffee and chocolate visit. Know before you go

Swimming at the waterfall is permitted in some conditions. Life jackets are required and provided by a lifeguard at the waterfall.
The path to the waterfall is paved and wheelchair accessible, but some of the paths through the garden have steep stairs. There is also a shuttle that runs from the visitor center to the falls.
There is limited Wi-Fi throughout the valley but no cell service.
You can bring a picnic lunch, dine at the visitor center restaurant, or get food at the snack shop by the falls.
