The tour guides, Summer and Darcy, were awesome. Summer's knowledge of the Hawaiian culture and ability to tell the stories was great. However, the bus we were on had air conditioning issues and we were very uncomfortable in the back of the bus. Some of the advertised stops were changed because of the recent storms. The beaches we stopped at did not offer the same amenities.

Not the best. Firstly the pick up time and place was told to us incorrectly so we got a call 40 mins before our so called pick up time but they managed to get us from the hotel. The tour itself wasn't great, there were a lot of souvenir shops and Starbucks. A lot of the pass by places you didn't actually see (lanikai beach) so why would they be mentioned at all? There was an accident so the tour had to be modified which was unavoidable but a shame not to see the main place we wanted to see (Waimea bay). However our tour guide Junior was great and done the best he could for us under the circumstances.

This is a good way to learn more about the island from locals. It can get a little exhausting so make sure to get lots of rest if you plan to book this. Great for photo ops as well. So many beautiful beaches on the island (wish we had one of those as our designated 1 hour stop).

Couldn't go snorkeling, the water is dirty from the storms. Should let you know on the website before you book. They done stop at some of the beaches. Should stop somewhere with more food options besides the shrimp truck.

This tour did not match the description whatsoever. The bus was in extremely poor condition with no suspension, uncomfortable seats with no legroom, rattling windows and the second step to get on and off the bus came completely off as someone was walking up. Very dangerous!!! The guide was very hard to understand which was made worse as he was wearing a face mask. He was not welcoming at all and didn’t appear to know the schedule for the tour. It was basically a long day visiting tourist traps for sales. The beach where we were supposed to snorkel and see turtles had murky and dirty water with no visibility at all and extremely hard to access due to the number of rocks. So disappointing when we had passed so many other beautiful beaches along the way. The shrimp lunch was nice. Unfortunately we would not recommend this tour.

Tour well covered everything on the island. Coffee to macadamia to snorkeling. Our guide Junior was terrific. Kept us well informed and an excellent driver. We were blessed that our tour group was 10 people and not the huge buses doing the same tour. Highly recommend.

Our Driver August was pleasant. Unfortunately a situation with the van happened. We were left to wait 21/2 hours for repair of vehicle. We had to walk to the Koolau Ranch, for lunch crossing over the busy highway. Stops on the tour were eliminated and then at 6:00pm the driver decided to give us a city tour !!! That was not necessary as many of us just wanted to get back to our hotels. Tour had potential but the van braking down changed the trajectory of the tour.

A complete rip-off. The scenery is beautiful, but the whole afternoon is spent visiting shops. The worst part is that we booked this tour because it included time to go to the beach and go snorkelling, but the beaches are closed due to flooding and that part of the trip isn’t happening. They’ve known this beach has been closed for weeks, so they really should have updated the information. We feel completely ripped off...

Such a fun and friendly guide, he was so knowledgeable about the island and shared so much with us, filled with history and interesting stories. This is a great itinerary, especially if you have limited time on the island. It hits all the highlights. We had two unfortunate incidents on our tour. One was not the fault of the tour company. A boulder fell from the mountain and blocked the road, causing a two-hour delay. The hard part was that because the van wasn’t moving, the air conditioning barely worked. It was very hot and we were all squished together. I was on the back row bench seat and there were five adults packed into that one seat because there were no other place to sit. We really should’ve been in a small bus and not a van. The second incident was that the bus broke down. We had to vacate the bus and stand in someone’s front yard for two hours. It was very hot and I got burnt to a crisp. They sent a replacement van about two hours later and it was great. There was plenty of room for everyone and the air conditioning worked well. We ended up getting back a few hours late, but fortunately, the cruise ship wasn’t scheduled to leave until 10:30 PM. Our guide Will was great and he did the best he could under the circumstances. The ironic part was that when I entered the van, I noticed all the dashboard lights were on (check engine light, oil level light, etc.) were all lit up and I said to the guide, “Are we gonna make it today?” He replied, “Oh, all of our vans are old and all the dashboard lights are permanently on.” We didn’t make it to the macadamia farm and we did a quick visit to the Dole Plantation and a very quick stop at a coffee farm. (Was that even on the itinerary?)

The bus AC was non functioning, it only ran for a minute or 2 when the bus was 1st started. It was nauseating and hot the entire 10.5 hour tour. The description says water and chips provided...not true. We got nothing. And we did not bring water, so health wise not a good call to not provide water on a bus with no AC on a 85 degree day. The shocks on bus#126 were not functioning...it was back- jarring bumpy even when the road was smooth. And someone had a baby on the bus, and probably because it was so hot. Screamed so loudly for hours, we could not hear our tour guide. Will was our guide, he was very informative, and did apologize for the lack of AC. The stops had spectacular views, and we're timed appropriately.

There was lots to see, but too many stops to just shop. Unable to do the Turtle snorkeling which was one of the main reasons we wanted to do the tour. The bus was not air-conditioned but the driver tried to do his best with what he was given.

Will our driver and guide for the day was great. Very informative, funny, personable. Had an answer for any question someone asked him. Got to see lots of sights. The guide was friendly, helpful and drove well. We signed up for the days activities which included: snacks, snorkeling, swimming at the beach - those things did not happen. The itinerary given is a 3rd party itinerary and is not the trip signed up for. We packed bathing suits, towels, no snacks because we were told they would be provided. What was offered was water only. We were picked up at 730am. And didn't have an opportunity to eat until 1pm even though we passed several places with food options. The website said all snorkeling gear would be provided by them, there was no gear on board. Lunch was at a food truck and while pretty tasty-youre only given an hour to eat which seems like a lot of time but is not when you have to wait 30 minutes in line to get your food that was pre-ordered and then wait for an open seat to eat or sit on the ground. The stops that needed more time felt rushed, the stops that needed less time we sat around waiting to leave. While it was nice to see the sights passing by and our driver was good, overall we would have chosen a different tour to get to do the things we thought we had paid for.

The tour was nice, but because of weather we couldn't do the snorkeling and our AC want working, but they didn't send us a new bus half way in. Sarah our guide was awesome, she drove safely and and was very knowledgeable. I know they have no control of weather, but it would be nice to have a good substitute. Especially since that was the great thing to look forward to for second half of the tour. Which made us restless, because it was only beaches we passed by, so it became very mundane and restless.

We were very excited about this tour, especially chose as a snorkeling option was included. Due to pollution we were told that part was cancelled, but not until we got on the bus. It was disappointing they couldn’t let traveller's know this ahead of time to cancel if they wanted. However, the worst part of this trip was the lack of a tour guide. It made me realize how a good tour guide can enrich these bus tours. Our guide imparted no historical or cultural facts about any of the stops. They barely spoke. We had no notice of the stop coming up, timetable, etc. We would just be dumped at the next site and told we had 15 minutes. The food truck stop was not the one mentioned and was gross (dirty surroundings next to a 7-11). We passed the large food truck area shortly after and wondered why this tour hadn’t chosen that one. Choose a different tour company, as this one clearly doesn’t set expectations or training for their drivers to provide interesting facts and history. Very disappointing for the price tag!

I had such high hopes based on the reviews. But this tour was awful from the start. First, we were told that we would be picked up at our hotel, which was not the case. We had to walk a few blocks to meet the bus. The bus had horrible suspension on horrible roads, which made for an extremely bumpy ride to the point it was painful. Our tour guide was monotoned, had almost no information on the places we went, and generally seemed uninterested in telling us about Hawaii. Then as we were leaving our lunch spot, she hit the edge of the roof of the building, shattering 2 windows on the bus. This caused glass to rain down on passengers. No EMS was called and no offers to aid were made by the tour. (Thankfully, there was a healthcare worker on our tour who helped and ensured no one was injured.) Upon switching busses, we noticed the back emergency window on the new bus was loose and rattling. Additionally, this bus suspension was only slightly better, so the bumpy ride continued. When we were dropped off to swim for an hour on a very small beach, my husband and I decided to leave the tour (notifying the guide) and pay an Uber to drive us over an hour back to our hotel. This tour was not worth the cost.
