- Most surfaces are wheelchair accessible, since we do have ramps to the Bar, the Restrooms, and the Ohana Gift Shop, and outside surfaces of the luau have harder sand
- Motorized wheelchairs are allowed in most areas, however, Germaine's Luau will not be responsible for any damages to the electric mechanism for the chair due to sand, as our luau is on a private beachfront property.

Amazing experience! Learned a lot about Hawaiian culture through the years. The food was great and service was superb. Some of the friendliest people we met on the island.

I repeat do not use a uber to get their… I punched in Germanine lauau destination and it took me to the spot you purchase your tickets… I was told not to use Germanine Lauau but use this address after I contacted them on where to go.. it was definitely not posted the right way … got there an hour late and then the picture they took was under exposed when I looked at it at the end of the show… everybody else picture looked good except the one they took of my mother and me…. My mother is 95 and this is what she wanted to do and I was very disappointed In Germanine lackuster attitude … it was like .. well it happens attitude…didn’t seem to care... Definitely would not recommend this LAUAU…

About 40 mins drive out of Honolulu relevant if yous are driving and you want to have a drink.
Otherwise specracualr evening with generous buffet and BBQ abd performance

Germaine’s luau was great. The performance was outstanding. The only feedback or recommendation that I would say is to have something to control the flies. I found them to be all over our food. In spite the event being near the beach and with the winds, the mosquitos tore us up. Maybe some tiki torches around the facility would help.
Fantastic show, wonderful staff and excellent service. So glad we got the plumeria package. It was worth every penny. The people in the show are true artists especially during the fire show. Try enjoyed this event.
They serve plenty of food. The bus driver was very informative. Including the bus ride was a huge help for us, as it was really far from our hotel. The shows they had were pretty decent. They allowed volunteers to come up and participate which was hilarious. Overall it was okay.
It was a far drive. We had heard good things about Germaine luau. Luau and food was very good! Glad we joined.
Bus ride? Driver was great. A passenger was the most annoying, never stop talking acted like she ran it. Could never hear bus driver talk. She wanted a 30 min break driver said 15. She and a group in the back (she was in front) all bought alcohol and was drinking away from the bus. I told the bus driver about it. He handled it. But she made the ride so unpleasant!!
She was fast asleep on the way back! Luckily. But we thoroughly enjoyed the lays on our 33rd anniversary.

It was very entertaining, great job by the staff and dancers. The bar lines were long and the two drink tickets were a joke.

Great night, alcoholic drink and shell lei on arrival, photo taken with Hawaiian dancers ($30 extra), great meal and plenty of it, really good show including fire dancing. Great activities to do beforehand such as flower hair decorations, photos with parrots, etc. Bus driver was really good in the enormous amount of peak hour traffic from Waikiki to Kapolei. Overall great night.

The performance was beyond amazing , the host amazing. We paid for the ultimate experience, however the drinks were watered down. For a good drink like a pina colada it was 2 drink tickets not one. We were picked up late, the driver was super nice. When we got to the luau I went to find our seats. and went to get painted, immediately after I went to get a flower. Not even 20 minutes after my arrival the guy turned me away for my flower, when I looked back he allowed 3 women to get in line after turning me and my 8 yr old away which was really crappy, I didn’t complain or say anything because I don’t like confrontation, but it was disappointing because we spent so much money for this event. The food was great however everything was rushed. Before we could use all our drink tickets they were asking us to load the bus. I wouldn’t do this again nor would I recommend to get the ultimate package just drive yourself and pregame.

Give yourself plenty of time to get there. We were only 30 miles away but it took an hour and forty five minutes to get there. It has been there 50 years, so an industrial park has grown around it. It looks like you are in the wrong place but you are not. The food was great and the show was phenomenal. The beach views were awesome.
Everyone we talked to recommended Germaine’s for a luau! And I’m so glad we listened!! What an incredible night!

It was a completely hands on experience. We got there early and my kids were able to try a lot of things that were in the show. It was very cool and certainly made them appreciate how difficult the performance was.

Overall experience was great. Very welcoming and family friendly. Food was good, kids being as picky as they are didn’t care for it, but it was really good. Ocean view a sunset from the Luau was amazing. The Luau was amazing as well very entertaining and interactive.

When visiting Hawaii Germaine’s Luau should definitelybe on your acitivity list! The show was incredible, with engaging performances and a beautiful setting that made the evening unforgettable. The food was very good, with plenty of delicious options to enjoy throughout the night. There was also a variety of activities to try before the show, which made the whole experience even more fun. We would highly recommend!

Food is pretty good, pig was very good, also had fish, beef, chicken. Variety of sides. Slow start to eve but show after dinner- Polynesian dancers- great , audience involved, entertaining. Lasts almost 3 hours. There are hundred of people there so not able to address some food limitations

Everything is very well planned out and organized. Pick up driver was on time, and getting there we were greeted with nothing but smiles staff was friendly and very accommodating they involve the crowd and the drinks are very good.food was amazing the pork is to die for would recommend to anyone plus the property is beachside you can see the beautiful sunset from your seat.

We got there right on time. We were worried about parking, but the lot was a good size. Check in was easy. They give u shell leis for the whole family. Then ur given colored bracelets which coordinates with the color of the tablecloths on the park benches that ur allowed to sit on. Ur given tickets for ur alcohol depending on which package u chose. Drinks were good. We had mai tais. Soft drinks are free. Mocktails for the kids were a buck. This luau was right on the sand on the beach. We lucked out coz the weather was perfect. No passing sprinkles which is what their rain is like. It lasts like 10 secs. There was a long line for complimentary tropical flowers to pin in ur hair that the hula girls make. My daughters and I got ours before the show started. The show did not disappoint. The music and hula dancers and the fire dancing was very entertaining. The food was surprisingly great! This is my second luau. The first one was in a fancy hotel in Maui and the food was awful there. So I did not have high expectations here. Boy was I surprised! Germaine’s luau know what to serve. The pork was amazing! Moist and very flavorful. Dinner was buffet style. They had many selections. My family and I really enjoyed this experience. Mahalo 🌺

It is very entertaining the only thing I feel like and this is a personal View I was telling my husband that I think we would have more fun if we would have had more people with us even though you do sit at tables with other people when there's large groups will of course they keep to themselves don't bother wearing high heels ladies cuz you're going to end up taking them off anyways you're basically at the beach if I had to do it all over again I would pay for the much more expensive package I think you get a little more but again the one that we took was the Makai package and it was fine
