- Most surfaces are wheelchair accessible, since we do have ramps to the Bar, the Restrooms, and the Ohana Gift Shop, and outside surfaces of the luau have harder sand
- Motorized wheelchairs are allowed in most areas, however, Germaine's Luau will not be responsible for any damages to the electric mechanism for the chair due to sand, as our luau is on a private beachfront property.

Fantastic Show and food was excellent! Very interactive with the audience! Love that they dont charge an arm and leg for the pictures they take once you arrive! We had a great time. My second time here and would definitely go back again!

Awesome experience, Bryce was our bus tour guide who made the 1 hr bus ride to the luau such an awesome experience. From the bus service, photos, flowers, food, drinks and show it was a great night

We came here based on a friend's recommendation. The oceanfront setting is beautiful, but the venue is located in an industrial area. The food was ok, the show was fine, and I definitely recommend bringing bug spray.
If it's your first luau, this is a good place to experience one. Like most luaus, it's geared toward tourists.

The problem here is that they don't have chairs, they have benches. So after an hour or so your back and bottom are gonna be killing you. Also, it's a free for all when it come sesting arrangements. Which means if you go do an activity before dinner, someone will probably take your spot. The food is average at best but that's true for most Luas. The show however is awesome you will enjoy it.

Great experience! Loved everything about it! On the beach, saw how they cooked the pig in the ground, received shell leis, flowers for your hair, the show was awesome, …. We got so many amazing pictures and enjoyed the event so much! Highly recommend!!

Do not get seated at the Red tables near the Beach... You are the last to go eat and they turn the lights down to begin the show and your attacked by flying bugs all over you and your food... But the show was excellent and the food was delicious for what I was able to eat.. Before being bombarded with flying bugs

We had the best time! Definitely the best value for food and entertainment for a Luau. They provided hand made fresh flowers for our hair, teaching of palm braiding, and body drawings. Highly recommended for family of all ages. Staff was amazing.

Take bug spray with you. We had swarming, flying ants on our visit. Otherwise, great fun as they are very welcoming.

Entertainment was fun. Food was average. Table clothes looked old and dirty. They really need to get replaced.
Once the entertainment started there were lots of mosquitoes. People were swatting and moving away from some areas.

Great experience and lots of family fun! Get there on time and be sure to save your seat, and get a flower for your hair or a tattoo. Lots of great spots for photos. The show was wonderful and the entire family enjoyed. We would go back.

I absolutely loved the luau! The food was very good, and the entire experience was amazing from start to finish. As soon as you arrive, they greet you with a beautiful lei necklace and take a photo to remember the occasion. Once inside, there are plenty of opportunities to take pictures, and the location right on the beach makes it even more special.
I was pleasantly surprised to learn that scenes from Lilo & Stitch were filmed there. The whole evening was filled with fun, entertainment, and incredible performances. The dancers were fantastic, and my entire family enjoyed every minute of it.
I would definitely recommend this luau to anyone visiting Hawaii. It was a memorable experience that we will never forget!

I booked this excursion after it was recommended by a coworker who had a great experience. However, we did not have the same experience. We paid $300+ with transportation to not even attend. We were scheduled for pick up at 410 pm from La Croix hotel which was a five minute ride from our hotel, the Modern. Our Lyft ride arrived with ample time but as we approached our destination 2 mins away, there was a road closure due to the Pan Pacific Festival parade causing us to be delayed. We were contacted by the vendor and I explained we were in traffic with the road closure. We got out the car to walk to the hotel while we were on the phone she said they left and they we’d have to get to the next hotel Hyatt Regency on Kona. I explained it was unacceptable to not take these things into consideration. After realizing the distance while on foot we called back and asked that they wait for us, we told them we were on our way by foot. We walked a total of 15 mins in the humidity. As we were talking up the bus was driving off. When we got there there was a group of 6-7 ppl who stated they were waiting for the bus for Germaine’s luau. The nice bus driver checked to see if there were enough seats but there wasn’t and he called dispatch to notify but there was nothing else he could do… I contacted the company and spoke with Shareen I let her know I would be requesting a refund.
In addition, the company never advised us by messaging or emails of the potential closure and delays. For this to be annual event companies servicing tourist attraction should advise patrons accordingly! ABSOLUTELY unacceptable. They did not try to make it right by offering a new date. We wanted the experience. Not the money. However, we are working on recouping the funds

Amazing! Just as I Remembered it! Came in 2003, we brought our daughters this time. Thank you, it was a great time. Jojo left a lasting impression on my husband's shirt, jojo thought his shirt was tasty.

We felt like poor folk in the back. We were on the “Makai Basic Group”. Did not know there were two other groups above us. Both groups are treated different to us in the Makai group. You get a basic shell lei, the others got beautiful nut leis. The top group got fed a plated meal first. The next group got to go get their food next. We were last. They each also got souvenirs cups. We were put at tables at the far reach all around. Made for seeing the performances bad. Since you were so far away. But I guess someone had to sit at those far tables. The food was not good in my opinion. The pork was authentic and my husband said it tasted better than the chicken and odd beef selection. The white cake was strange. The only thing I ate ultimately was the coleslaw and the roll. Good part: sodas are free and you can go get them yourself. The one free alcohol drink was warm. The performances were nice. The place is right on the beach. Beautiful photo opportunities. Except: the photo that they take of you when you come in was so whitewashed you looked like a ghost. I don’t usually complain. But I was annoyed that I didn’t know there were better options. I guess that’s what you get when you use an outside source such as TA or Travelocity.

The luau was very well done. Visibility was great from any table, staff was very friendly and helpful and drinks were good. The food could have been better, however, but was adequate. All in all, a fun experience.

They really engaged with you and get to know you. I greatly enjoyed my experience there. From the pick up, to the Luau and back to our hotel’s. Our bus driver Cousin Lee was hands down the best. He was the one who got us ready and what to expect for the evening. Even the workers there letting us know about our tattoos in what it stands for to then the flowers we put in our hair to the leaves we wove to make us a crown.

This show is great but you don't need to purchase the most expensive one to experience it. Get the cheapest one available and you will still get a great view.

Get ready to play along! The cast and crew were great and seemed kind. The food line moves fast too. The only negative thing, it’s kind of gimicky in the sense that they do want you to play along the entire time instead of sitting back and enjoying a show. My teens were kind of over it pretty quickly but we noticed some of the littles around us thoroughly enjoyed the entire thing!

They definitely let you know who buys the cheaper seats (lol) Top two tiers get served dinner and plates picked up, with souvenirs. Third tier is, serve yourself and cleanup own plates with no souvenirs, overall experience was fun.

Welcoming atmosphere and a wonderful performance by the Polynesian dancers! Staff were highly attentive and friendly. We had to drive an hour and a half across the island due to traffic but the luau was worth it!
