This cooking class experience was everything and more than we were expecting. Our teacher, Beatriz did such an amazing job guiding us through the menu (Cod Fish Dish, Pork Dish, Rice Dish, Egg Dish, and Dessert!) and helping the group produce an amazing meal!! My friends and I loved this class and Beatriz, as she was very friendly and personable! 100% would recommend to anyone looking to immerse yourself in Portuguese culture through food! They even sang Happy Birthday, which was a nice and welcome surprise. I can’t say enough good things!

This was a great way to learn more about Portuguese food while interacting with other travelers. Instructor was engaging and spoke excellent English. The class is located at a bus stop making it easy to get to. Highly recommend!

What a great way to feel like you are experiencing Lisbon, not just observing Lisbon. The best part was the relaxed atmosphere and visiting eigh other group members. It was a great way to exchange information and travel tips.

This was such a fun experience! Miguel was very kind, knowledgeable, and explained the cooking steps so well that they were easy to follow. It was very child friendly too. I would definitely recommend this experience in Portugal.

Stress-free, easy going and fun cooking class, Pedro our instructor was amazing, he taught how to cook traditional Portugese meals in a way we won’t forget, extremely knowledgable guy! Would recommend this for anyone new to Portugese food, also would recommend checking with the company to ensure which location you are at as there are two different locations, Viator gave us the address for the location we weren’t supposed to be at, it was no biggie though just be mindful!

This Lisbon cooking class was a fantastic experience. I was able to try truly authentic dishes that I likely never would have tasted outside of the class, and every dish was delicious.
I really enjoyed the communal atmosphere and connecting with others during the experience. Learning about Lisbon’s history and how it relates to the dishes we prepared added an extra layer that made the class even more enjoyable.
I highly recommend this experience for anyone looking to enjoy great food while gaining a deeper appreciation for Lisbon’s culture.

We could not have asked for a better experience with this cooking class. The food was great, recipes were fantastic, and everyone had a wonderful time. We had two kids with us as well, ages 10 and 12. It was perfect for them too.

We did an 11am lunch class with my husband and adult son and daughter. The facility was clean, modern and inviting. Our chef/teacher Beatriz was engaging and personable—sharing insights about the food and culture and personalized it with amusing stories about her family and life. We learned a lot, had fun and enjoyed the fruits of our labor. Highly recommend!

This cooking class was amazing! The instructor Miguel was GREAT! The class was interactive but not too demanding and the kitchen is beautiful. And of course the food was DELICIOUS! Totally recommend! I went solo and also loved it! Everyone is so friendly and welcoming :)

Our host, Miguel, was exceptionally hospitable from start to finish, making the entire time not only educational but genuinely amusing and engaging for everyone.
The venue itself was perfect: well equipped and modern spacious, easily accommodating the seven of us who attended without feeling cramped.
The class atmosphere was relaxed and generous. We were continuously offered a great selection of wine, beer, and soft drinks, along with lovely portuguese snacks before and during the cooking process.
This was a five-star cultural and culinary experience. Highly, highly recommended!

We had a wonderful time with our culture knowledgeable Chef. The venue is very inviting, clean and well prepared. The venue was a lovely modern room in a good neighborhood, but not in the Lisbon City Center. We took a taxi to get there and we took a bus to get back to the city center. Both were easy to do. The meal we prepared was worth the money, we had: wine of our choice and appetizers. We made the famous Natas dessert, bacalhau, short ribs, fried eggs, delicious potatoes, and rice and beans.
Juice and water were available and we had delicious liqueurs to sample after our meal. The meal and the experience are worth the money.

The cooking class was a small group and provided opportunities to participate in all activities. The recipes were delicious and were easy to follow. The host was able to give us great advice on how to cook the local fare. Would definitely recommend!

We had a great time learning Portuguese recipes. The kitchen and dining spaces were clean and inviting. Such a great venue to meet other travelers and experience local cooking. Our chef was friendly, informative and we were not at all rushed. I highly recommend this class!

Excellent experience with Beatriz, who was passionate about her work and had many interesting tidbits. Very well organized, with a nice range of dishes, including the pasteis de nata, which I'm sure is at or near the top of the list for most anyone wanting to join a cooking class in Lisbon. It was a small enough group that everyone had plenty of chances to participate and interact with each other. Also reasonably priced for the experience. Would recommend to anyone.

What a fun class! Our instructor, Teresa, made sure everyone felt comfortable and included the entire time. It was a bit chaotic at first since the meal is cooked family style, but our group got into a groove and had a lot of fun helping to prepare each part of the meal. If you're a more serious chef, you may not appreciate the more laid back style of this class. However, we had a blast meeting people and learning more about the Portuguese style of cooking!
