It was a overall great experience. The food tasted great, and I felt a fine balance between cooking and drinking wine. I absolutely loved the chef and the other participants. I loved the group size when it came to cooking but it was a pity that we weren't able to sit at the table with the others. However I understood that there was some mixup in booking and remembering that I think the situation was handled excellently. 5/5 would definitely recommend

An amazing variety of Portuguese dishes prepared. A group effort-several stations of preparation culminating in a communal seating to sample all foods prepared. Learned lots. Instructors knowledgeable & passionate to share their native cuisine.

Angela was a great host. I enjoyed taking this class. After being on vacation for the last 8 days it was nice to get in the kitchen and cook a homemade meal. I can’t wait to go home and make this for my family.
Renata was a great instructor and chef. She explained our cooking process and got everyone involved. We made several dishes including peri peri chicken, Bacalhau, caldo verde soup and many side dishes. Dessert was amazing as well. Our class chatted with each other while we cooked which made for a fun evening.
This was AMAZING! I highly recommend going to this if you can find the time.... I mean, you have got to eat and what is better than learning some new foods, new ideas, new techniques along with a good meal!

This was such a fun night! The food was excellent. Lots of hands-on experience even with a bigger group.
The cooking class was great! Our Chef was very knowledgeable and walked us through an entire meal from soup to dessert. The ingredients were fresh, the wine was great and our meal was perfect.

Excellent experience with an experienced teacher. She communicated and engaged me in the style of home-cooking which allows me to adjust recipes in my home country (based on availability of ingredients).

Excellent experience. It was a lot of laughs and I learned so much. A great group of people led by an excellent teacher, who was able to manage all of the different dishes, while making sure we all got the valuable lessons in making them.

This was a great experience. Pedro made us very comfortable and gave us a lot of information about cuisine in Portugal. He helped the group to get to know each other and work together. We loved it.
Chef Pedro was so kind, patient, and understanding of food allergies, etc and created a meal that everyone could enjoy. This was our first experience doing a cooking class and it was so much fun and the food that we prepared was delicious and not difficult to make. Now, we will be able to make Portuguese dishes at home. This was a delightful evening!

Learning about Portuguese cooking from Renata. Participating in the actual cooking process. And getting to know the other participants.
Although the chef was great and it was a fun atmosphere, we felt the menu needed improvement as many of our dishes were mediocre at best. The class was large at 18 and it took over 2 hours to prepare our meals. I think a smaller group, with fewer dishes would be better.

Fantastic meal and experience! Definitely worth doing. We created a nine course meal with everything tasting amazing! Our instructor Giu was extremely knowledgeable and entertaining. Loved it!
Too many people in class. We stood around doing nothing much of the time. The chef was good but the class was too large and we didn’t sit down to eat until 10pm
Great fun. Excellent instructor. Made new friends and enjoyed watching other couples make their part of the meal. Very good fun made by all, lots of wine. Event lasted longer than advertised because everyone was having fun.
