We absolutely loved the Pastel de Nata masterclass at Nat’elier, it was one of the highlights of our Lisbon trip.
The class was so much fun, really engaging and very informative without ever feeling too formal. Everything was explained clearly, from the history of the pastel de nata to the techniques behind making them properly, and we got hands‑on throughout, which made it even better.
The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and the hosts were fantastic, knowledgeable, friendly and clearly passionate about what they do. And the best part? The pastéis de nata we made were absolutely incredible, genuinely some of the best we tasted in Lisbon!
A brilliant experience whether you love baking or just want to do something fun and unique while visiting the city. We’d highly recommend this to anyone looking for a memorable, tasty activity.

We had a great experience. The bakers were friendly and helpful. The class size was less than 20 of us so it was very hands-on. We got to learn and keep the recipes. The only thing is that this was a little pricey for what the activity was but overall good time.
This was a great and fun activity to do in the city. Having been to Lisbon a few times, this was brilliant in terms of doing something different. The class was well directed, clear and easy to follow, plus we had a great group for the afternoon.
This pasty class was a great experience! Especially for a solo traveler. It was a very welcoming environment and the chef was funny and a great instructor. The pastel de nata was delicious!

Sergio was a delightful teacher and kept things light, efficient, and fun! He is a trained chef, which made a big difference with the detailed construction of the pastel de nata. We made this iconic Portuguese pastry from scratch. We truly enjoyed this lesson!

We really enjoyed this experience! It was a lovely small group and everybody was so lovely. The instructors were great, very clear and informative and they kept the class very fun. They had it broken down into steps which kept it very simple and easy to follow. The results were extremely delicious and we were offered a drink from their extensive menu as well. All in all it was an excellent experience and I would definitely do it again!
If you are looking for a pastel de nata class, this is THE ONE! It was an amazing experience! We made delicious treats in two hours!

Excellent morning spent learning how to make Pastel de Nata at Bakery Nat'elier.
Incredibly foolproof - the Pastel de Nata we made were delicious! We made 3 each and could eat them hot or take them with us (in a box). We chose to eat one warm and enjoyed the other 2 with a coffee later that day - and they were still incredible!

This experience is 100% recommended for all pastry lovers in general, whether professionals or amateurs. Sergio, the instructor, was excellent! he explained all the details to us and answered all our questions. Now we can make pastéis de nata (custard tarts) at home and experiment with the recipe however we like.

It was amazing! It was so fun and the 2 hours flew by. It was well organized and the instructors were great. It was easy to follow and fun. Great for all levels of baking, but maybe a little too easy for advanced bakers. But advanced bakers will still find the experience enjoyable. Loved our head chef João!
I love to bake! I love Pastel de Nate’s! ( I could eat my body weight in them😋) but I was intimidated by the pastry/shell making. Not to worry, they show you how and it was so easy!!! Great class!
Everyone is very nice at the bakery! Adriano our instructor was very nice and sweet. You’ll be working in pairs. They give you a free drink to enjoy your pasteles. Great experience!
