Informative and fun, we loved this hands-on, two-hour cooking experience where we learned about both the history and step by step technique in making not only Pastel de Nata, but also Farofias. Everything was so well thought out and paced, and the desserts were absolutely delicious. We also enjoyed the clean and bright cooking school environment. Great facility and small group setting. Anna and Marta were wonderful, expert instructors. Again, pace of class was perfect for mixed ages (our group included ages 11 and 15). Fun to sit for a few minutes and enjoy eating our desserts at the very end!

It was a great experience and if you go during the off season like we did, there’s a good chance your class will be super small! We had a very intimate experience that made it informative, fun, and easy to follow :)

Loved this! We had a fun family activity learning to make our favorite dessert as well as the history and origins of it. Our chef was very detailed and we even made a secondary traditional dessert. Our teen daughters loved it and it was quite the highlight! Obrigada!

Expected the experience to be hands on but spent a lot of time listening on how to make the pastry. Got to make the filling but even then the lemon rind was peeled ready. Did make 8 pastel de nata per couple to eat or take away but didn't find it as much fun as other cookery classes been on.

Omg! One of the best things to do in Lisbon! Absolutely enjoyed the atmosphere and Marta was so cute (her handmade earrings was even cuter)! Anna and Angela were also so nice and very welcoming. I loved that they gave us the full history about nata. Very enjoyable.

Fun, family experience learning how to make egg tarts. The time passed quickly and the chefs were skilled educators. Anna and Marta gave a nice history of sweet treats in Portugal.

This was a fun thing to do during my solo trip. The location is in a cute neighborhood and the kitchen has everything you'll need (including bathrooms and a small locker for your personal items). I liked that we got a little history lesson in addition to the cooking lesson. I would definitely recommend this to others looking to do something different during their trip.

The hosts were knowledgeable and entertaining, with lots of history alongside the helpful cooking tips, and hosted the class in a great space. And there was lots to eat at the end of the class!

I was expecting to participate in a cooking class. There were 11 participants. The classroom had enough work stations if we worked as couples. Unfortunately they only had 4 stations set up. I'm guessing that's because they only had 2 instructors. We ended up watching more than doing as everyone had to have a turn at doing at least one thing. I was expecting more hands on and didn't get it.
