This pastel de nata baking class was such a highlight of my time in Lisbon. The instructor was incredibly kind, funny, and made the class enjoyable from start to finish. It was a really fun experience. Miguel made it seem easy to learn and answered all our questions. I would recommend going here. And getting to eat it right out of the oven was awesome!
Miguel was warm and welcoming, guiding us expertly through the preparation process. I enjoyed that it was a small group and felt very personal. The result was delicious and I feel confident about making pastel de nata when I return home.
Miguel is a fantastic teacher! I feel that I have the skills now to create this dessert at home! Highly recommend

We joined Miguel’s pastel de nata cooking class as a family, along with a couple of friends, while traveling from abroad. Miguel was fun, didactic, interactive, and very knowledgeable, and we all enjoyed the experience immensely.

We enjoyed this experience so much! 2-3 people per batch so everyone had the chance to participate and we had plenty to take home afterwards! Lovely kitchen setting tucked off the Main Street where we got off the tram from the city center.
It was well organized, and the chef was very friendly and patient! He met us out the street and took us to the class, and when it was over, he walked us back to the street and helped us get an Uber.

This was my second time taking the pastéis de nata baking class, and it was just as fantastic as the first! The chef was clear, patient, and incredibly interactive, guiding us step-by-step through the process and making it easy and fun to follow along.
The best part is enjoying your own fresh, warm pastéis de nata at the end—truly better than anything you can buy in a store or bakery. And I should know, I’m Portuguese! A fun, delicious, and memorable experience every time. Highly recommended

We took a two-hour cooking class to learn how to make pastéis, and it was such a fun experience! The chef was incredibly personable and made the class easy to follow with clear, step-by-step directions. He created a welcoming atmosphere that made the time fly by.
It was the perfect mix of learning, hands-on fun, and of course — delicious results. I would definitely recommend this class for couples, friends, or really anyone interested in Portuguese cuisine. I’d happily go back and do it again myself!
This is a great activity that can be done in a few hours. Miguel is a fantastic teacher and you leave with know-how to make pasteis de nata, but also extras to eat in the days after your class!
This was great fun. I really don’t have very many culinary skills when it come to making pastry but our host made is fun and easy. Can’t believe how well they turned out. Hoping the recipe can be sent to us so we can practice when we get home.
