This was my second time taking the pastéis de nata baking class, and it was just as fantastic as the first! The chef was clear, patient, and incredibly interactive, guiding us step-by-step through the process and making it easy and fun to follow along.
The best part is enjoying your own fresh, warm pastéis de nata at the end—truly better than anything you can buy in a store or bakery. And I should know, I’m Portuguese! A fun, delicious, and memorable experience every time. Highly recommended

We took a two-hour cooking class to learn how to make pastéis, and it was such a fun experience! The chef was incredibly personable and made the class easy to follow with clear, step-by-step directions. He created a welcoming atmosphere that made the time fly by.
It was the perfect mix of learning, hands-on fun, and of course — delicious results. I would definitely recommend this class for couples, friends, or really anyone interested in Portuguese cuisine. I’d happily go back and do it again myself!

This was great fun. I really don’t have very many culinary skills when it come to making pastry but our host made is fun and easy. Can’t believe how well they turned out. Hoping the recipe can be sent to us so we can practice when we get home.

He was so personable and told us all the whys behind why you do the steps you do when making the natas. We are confident leaving this class that we can make it ourselves. It was also pouring cats and dogs outside and he offered his umbrella to us so we wouldn’t get soaked.

Wonderful experience at this class. We attended with our young children and they were welcomed and included. Our 5 year old loved the class! Everything was very organized and the teaching was very informative and entertaining. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a shorter class that is family friendly.

My son and I had a great class with this teacher. He was very patient with my young child, and we all had a fun time together. The pastel de nata came out very good, so now we have to try to recreate them at home. I would take another class with this teacher.

Miguel is an experienced pastry chef who provides clear instructions to make amazing pasteis de nata. His kitchen is in a convenient location and all directions were easy to follow. He was great with our kids too, taking time to explain the recipe and have fun. We had a wonderful time... highly recommended!

We had an amazing time on our first morning in Lisbon, we learned all about what makes Pasteis de Nata special and were fully hands-on throughout each stage of the recipe.
I got mesmerised watching them bubble away in the oven!
Naturally eating them was the best part, honestly they were the best we ate the whole time we were in Lisbon - trust me we took our research seriously haha!
Miguel was full of interesting and funny stories about his career and Lisbon as a city.
A true gem and I would recommend his classes to anyone.
