The tour was very entertaining and the food was excellent. The tour was 3 hours but it was not challenging; there were many places along the way where you could sit, and public restrooms were available. We had a very good time and everyone on the tour seemed to enjoy it too. I recommend this tour for a fun afternoon.

This was such a cool way to see the North End. Anthony/Flash was a good time! Don’t be put off by the “politically incorrect” part…there’s good food and good stories. Definitely come hungry!

In a Flash

Allen_G, Jul 2026
If you want a real local to give you some history, a little attitude and great food, do this tour. Flash was fabulous and we laughed as much as we ate!!!!

Poor guide

Christine_W, Jul 2026
Be aware that it’s saying politically incorrect But it also should have in the comments the amount of F bombs the guide uses. In addition, I actually left the tour early because nowhere did it say that it would not be appropriate for children, but when my 14 year-old granddaughter was asked to point out the silhouette of the woman on the guides T-shirt and she couldn’t figure it out and proceeded to show it to her and tell her see this is the vagina line, etc. that goes beyond incorrect. I wish that they would outline exactly what the tour is appropriate for and not. I spent a lot of money on the tickets and did not get to experience what I was hoping for.

Food tour w/ a great( obnoxious) Italian guide

Kerry_D, Jul 2026
Anthony was gem. He was so knowledgable about the history of the NorthEnd & took us to great places to sample great food! We were stuffed at the end of the tour! Anthony smoked, swore, joked and made the tour a really fun experience. He took pics with us at the end & had us do one w/ us all flipping the bird! Such a hoot! Highly recommend- unless you are easily offended- then avoid this tour.

Amazing Experience

Donald_H, Jul 2026
funny and entertaining. Flash has an amazing personality and is a very fast walker. Make sure you can keep up

This was 'politically incorrect', but we had a great time!

Sharon_C, Jul 2026
Not what I expected, I didn't read any of the other reviews, BUT we had lot's of fun! Flash is a character! He got to our meeting spot late, smoking a cigarette and cursing. He is also up front if anyone is uncomfortable with him, they could leave and he'd refund their money. SO READ reviews and don't be surprised! We had lots of food to sample, and no one left hungry. We got lots of information about growing up in the North End, and the community that lived there. He is quite the story teller. It was truly a unique and fun experience!

Tony is really fun, knowledgeable and no nonsense. I went in there with a couple of teenagers and we all thoroughly enjoyed it.

F#*ing Amazing!!!!

This is exactly what you want in a tour. A no nonsense look at the city from someone who grew up there. We really appreciated Anthony showing us around d his neighborhood, and really loved the food he shared with us.

Great entertaining tour

Ashley_P, Jun 2026
The host was knowledgeable and funny. A bit over the top. But great experience and the food was great, especially the ravioli we sampled.

Great tour!

Steve_V, Jun 2026
Great tour with lots of great food and stories. I enjoyed it and would recommend it to others as long as you’re not easily offended

It was great to hear about the history of the area while enjoying delicious food. Flash was authentic and knowledgeable… not nearly as inappropriate as expected ☺️. He was also accommodating to my vegetarianism which was appreciated.

Funny & personal journey through historic neighborhood

Diane_G, Jun 2026
Tour guide provided a very personal story about his experience growing up in his North End neighborhood and how it is changing. Good food tastings along the way and lotsa f-bombs! He was speaking our language! 🤣

Best Tour of the North End

Missy_G, Jun 2026
This is the 2nd time I've done this tour. It is both informative and hysterically funny. It is not for the faint-hearted as "f-bombs" are frequent. This is a tour from a real Italian, born and raised in the North End, with a wealth of information and a great sense of humor. Nothing too crass but if you're offended by foul language, this isn't for you! Anthony is a riot!!! The food is phenominal! Worth every penny!

Fantastic

Melanie_H, Jun 2026
This tour was fantastic! The tour guide was a local and near the area very well. He took us to enjoy some amazing food and told a lot of very interesting stories on the history of the area.

It's fun, a bit crude and the food was really good. You get a lot of information about the neighborhood

Fan-freakin-tastic

Kevin_M, Jun 2026
It is definitely politicaly incorrect, so if you are sensitive to foul language & non pc comments, not for you! But if you're ok with it- Flash is hysterical & a true local!

Great tour. Very knowledgeable local who grew up in the area and clearly enjoys sharing the stories. Don't be put off by the name, the guide is funny and the food is good.

If you like politically incorrect this is for you

mmorr10151, Jun 2026
I was turned off when the guide came ten minutes late and immediately sat down and smoked a cigarette. After a bit he explained there was a method to this. He was trying to root out the complainers before he started the tour. He then took off down the street and left a third of us at the wrong end of a red light. Not a great start. Still, he was a genuine resident guide and took us to the places of friends he had grown up with in the neighborhood when it was 99% Italian and poor. Now the 10% of Italians who stayed through the 20 year Big Dig are supposedly all rich from real estate and tourism. The guide was a genuine character and lived up to the name of the "politically incorrect" tour. Can't say i wasn't warned. Food was great and all connected to the neighborhood story, making it a genuine glimpse into the past.

It was great to taste the North End thru a real Italian Bostonian. Rude, crude and politically incorrect in all the good ways. Anthony was great. Food was delicious and lots of it!! Come hungry!!

So much fun and food

Roy_S, Jun 2026
Food availability was coordinated very well for our group of twenty three. From one venue to the next with interesting stories mixed in. The guide, Anthony, was a true gem of politically incorrectness. We had a great time and felt it was well worth the money. The Mafia house talk was very interesting.

Lived up to the name

Robert_V, Jun 2026
He may be a little late but you know it when he gets there. The name of the tour lives up to the title, my kids are older and enjoyed it. You get authentic stories of the neighborhood and some really good food. In reality, you don’t walk very far from the meeting place.

Politically Incorrect, And Too Big a Group

Brian_C, Jun 2026
Exactly what the title says; politically incorrect, but quite entertaining. The only drawback was the size. With the Red Sox at home and the World Cup in the area, the tour size was around 30-35 people and WAY too big.

10 period

Olga_H, Jun 2026
It was great beginning to end!! Flash was hilarious and told the best stories and the food was delicious ❤️❤️❤️

Do not recommend

Lynn_J, Jun 2026
First - these are our opinions; I’m sure you will hear totally different opinions from most others. Arriving late is not ‘politically incorrect’ - it’s rude. Swearing didn’t bother us but standing for 30 minutes while listening to his life story was boring and didn’t know that’s what we signed up for. A little bit of history on the area I’m sure was interesting but with 30 people it was difficult to hear Only given the address was a pain because none of the buildings had addresses. I had to Google to find out the meeting place was actually the library. Should have been given in the meeting location info The food was ok except for the deli sandwich- that was really good!!! 30+ people seems like too many people for a food tour. First stop was pizza. It was so hot you had to let it cool down before you could eat it. Then before you were finished they brought the rice balls. Again too hot to eat but next thing we know we had to leave so unless you got things first you were throwing away food Next was the deli sandwich and it was really good. But we had to hang around in the alley while the guide yakked it up with a friend on the street Next we sat down in a restaurant - sitting down with A/C and lots of cold water was a welcome relief. Ravioli was ok - it’s cheese ravioli Next - we had to hear about his life again. He did have some info about the establishment we went to next but again with 30 people unless you standing right in front of him you couldn’t hear Had Italian Ice. It was refreshing with the heat. However, we were standing in the back and next thing we knew we were thereby by ourselves. Where the heck did he go?? He clearly wasn’t paying attention to the group. Walked outside and did not see anyone so we left

The food on this tour was great. The variety was nice, and the portions were more than sufficient. I also got some inspiration on other places to eat the rest of my time in town.

Cathy_G, Jun 2026
Don’t go if you can’t handle some politically incorrect talk, it’s all for fun! The guide, Anthony “Flash”, is very entertaining and informative!

5 stars for the experience and the food!

Patrick_S, Jun 2026
Great experience. Learned a lot about the neighborhood and got to try some of the best Italian food I’ve ever had.
