The tour was very entertaining and the food was excellent. The tour was 3 hours but it was not challenging; there were many places along the way where you could sit, and public restrooms were available. We had a very good time and everyone on the tour seemed to enjoy it too. I recommend this tour for a fun afternoon.

This was such a cool way to see the North End. Anthony/Flash was a good time! Don’t be put off by the “politically incorrect” part…there’s good food and good stories. Definitely come hungry!

Very fun and definitely politically incorrect!

Peter_H, May 2026
Anthony (aka Flash) is very irreverent and funny at the same time. He pulls no punches about what he likes and why. He also gave a great history of the North End and explained why there are so few Italians left there.

It is as stated, politically incorrect, and funny as hell! Had a good time and lots of laughs. Learned a little bit about the city of Boston was well worth our time.

Recommend for Solo Travelers

Adriana_O, May 2026
Loved the tour, food was delicious. I was a solo traveler and quickly made friends within the group. Easily a highlight of my trip.

It's goes by very quick because of how enjoyable it is. The tour guide Anthony is very funny and a true local and provides a unique history of the North End!

Hilarious tour. Good information as well. Would highly recommend doing when visiting Boston. Not for the weak.

Anthony was great.

Tom_A, May 2026
Anthony was great. Initially I was a bit put off, but very quickly it was clear that it was all part of the “atmosphere”. Highly recommend.

Good food & entertaining guide.

Great restaurants. Nice variety of savory and sweet. Plenty to eat, arrive hungry. Interesting stories of Boston, the tour guide (Tony) born and bred in Boston, good sense of humor.

5 Stars for Anthony!

Monica_R, May 2026
All the food was delicious, and Anthony was a hilarious and informative guide. This tour opened our eyes to places we never would have tried before, and they're all places we definitely want to visit again. The most important lessons we learned: real estate is never a bad investment, Modern Pastry over Mike's, get your cold cuts sliced paper thin, and sometimes accidents work out in your favor.

Keeping it 100

Just the best way to eat some great food and have some serious laughs! Anthony is a local and makes the tour fun from the beginning to the end.

So much fun

Seth_P, May 2026
So much fun. Best tour and got to hear about his life growing up in north end. Food was amazing. Do this early in your trip so you know where to go the rest of your trip! Got lots of good recommendations too

Tour was canceled less...

Caroline_C, May 2026
Tour was canceled less than 24hrs before tour by operator due to family medical emergency. Unable to do tour on Thursday as leaving. Waiting to be notified about my refund. Have heard from others who have done this tour that it was fun. So disappointed to have missed it.

Excellent Food - Not a Family Tour

Vicki_W, May 2026
Food was excellent. Back stories were interesting. We all 4 adults in our 70s could have done without the F-Word that was used pervasively in the "intro" which lasted 10-15 minutes. After the 'schtick' intro, the foul language was manageable as it decreased substantially. Definitely NOT a "family " tour. 5 Stars without the F-Word.

Best North End Tour

Philip_C, May 2026
The tour guide Anthony is a life long resident of Boston’s North End. He knows the spots where the tourists don’t go and he knows the stories about the neighborhood. His choices are excellent from pizza to pasta to gelato. Go! Eat! Enjoy!

Totally Genuine

Kerrie_P, May 2026
Exactly what I’d hoped. Great authentic and personal history of The North End, delic food samplings and well politically incorrect which was refreshingly funny. Check out his website!!!

Great Boston Food Tour

Amber_M, Apr 2026
Fun, delicious, informative tour in the North End. We loved the frankness of our guide and everything we ate was absolutely stellar. I would do it all again!

Anthony was a lot of fun...

Kathleen_E, Apr 2026
Anthony was a lot of fun and the food was great. The only 2 things we wished for was more stories about the North End and for the food to be more spread out duration wise.

So much great history...

Amy_C, Apr 2026
So much great history combined with great food, a truly amazing experience. Definitely recommend if you want an authentic review of Boston!

The gentleman was really funny and

Navin_R, Apr 2026

Karin’s need not apply!

This is a fantastic food tour! Anthony is a great host with lots of interesting and funny information about the area. This isn’t your typical food tour and as the name suggests it’s ‘politically incorrect’ so if you get offended easily or don’t like cuss words be forewarned. If you don’t care please take this tour. I give it a 5 out of 5.

Very entertaining and delicious tour!

Francine_R, Apr 2026
Come hungry! You will eat until your belly is full! I thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Anthony is very funny and has so much knowledge about the history of the places you will visit. I highly recommend the tour! My son and I had a blast and we found a restaurant recommended by Anthony for my pre marathon dinner. Thanks, Anthony!

It was a genually great...

Judy_G, Apr 2026
It was a genually great tour. Fabulous food and great guide. For sure politically incorrect and very funny.

Totally worth it.

Melissa_P, Apr 2026
We don’t usually do the “tourist-y” things when we visit a city. We like to get to know it. But this wasn’t too tourist-y. It was awesome. Is it politically incorrect? Yes, Was there a lot of cursing? Yes. Was the food amazing? Yes. Such a cool way to see North Boston with the kids. Our tour guide grew up right in the heart of the area we were in, and had so many great stories that you won’t read in all the tourist pamphlets. We aren’t easily offended and it was a good time for everyone. I wouldn’t bring any kids under 13, like it says - unless they like the entertainment of it all! My kids both had an amazing time. I also ate the best sandwich of my life.

Great tour and tasty treats

Marie_H, Apr 2026
Can’t miss this fun tour with Anthony. Very funny and knowledgeable. Kept us all laughing. Great food along the way. Must do when visiting the North End.

a lotta fun with some tasty treats!!

Brian_O, Apr 2026
A fun walk with some tasty treats around the neighbourhood!! Anthony was great - kept us all smiling as he told us stories from the "old neighborhood". The sandwich we had was a standout - so good! But everything was good - nothing I didn't like! A great way to spend a rainy afternoon!!

Great tour & the BEST food!

Jennifer_G, Apr 2026
Anthony & his tour are a can’t miss! We loved hearing about the history of the North End in relation to Anthony & his family. He’s a great guy w/a big heart who delivers an excellent tour. In top of it, it was by far the best food we experienced in Boston and we can’t wait to revisit all of the food stops. Thanks, Anthony!!

Exactly what I’d hope for and more 🇮🇹🍝

Emily_R, Apr 2026
Anthony is hilarious and a perfect guide for the north end. We loved the personal history and yummy bites! We are from the area and still learned a lot. I highly recommend if you want to laugh and enjoy a couple of hours sampling the best foods in the area. We left full!
