Samples may include a lobster roll, New England clam chowder, Atlantic bluefin tuna hand rolls, stuffed clams, quahogs, or fresh raw oysters. Tastings may vary based on season and availability, but the experience is designed to leave you satisfied.
- Are there any dietary restrictions or allergy considerations? This seafood-focused tour centers on shellfish and is not suitable for guests with a shellfish allergy, as we are unable to provide substitutions. For all other food allergies or dietary requirements, please inform us at least 24 hours prior to departure. While we’ll do our best to accommodate, we cannot guarantee suitable alternatives if notice is not provided in advance.
- Is this tour child-friendly? Yes! This tour is suitable for families. Children under 4 years old can join free of charge. A reduced child price applies for children aged 4 to 11.

Tour guide was late. In 2 1/2 hours we had a bowl of clam chowder. Nothing was prepared for us. Nothing was ready. We ended up leaving the tour, which is the first time I’ve left a tour ever in my life.. the company said that we left the tour because we didn’t like the vibe and will not give us a refund. Do not book this tour!!!

We had a great time with Maddy walking around the seaport visiting the old classics in Boston. I had lived in the city for 20 years but now life elsewhere. It was so cool to go back and revisit and know the classics are still there.

The food choices on this tour were excellent -- clam chowder, lobster roll, tuna sushi hand roll, and oysters. We also enjoyed Travis, our guide, who was fun and informative. But...our guide did not check ahead and took us to a scheduled restaurant that was closed for the day, forcing him to re-route our group to an unscheduled stop. The tour also went well past the scheduled end time.

It is A LOT of walking but at a average pace. The food offered at each stop is the BEST Boston had to offer! Robyn our guide was so accommodating and knowledgeable She was a pleasure!

Great information about the seafood industry and the seaport area of Boston. Our guide, Caitlin, has a great personality and lots of energy. The food was terrific, chowder, tacos, lobster roll, sushi and oysters. There was more walking in this tour than many other food tours we have done. But the walking was was at a reasonable pace and broken up between the four stops. Definitely would recommend for anyone who enjoys seafood.

This was a really fun tour with lots of great seafood. Our guide, Robyn, was very entertaining and had lots of great insights on the city. You'll do 4 stops and try clam chowder, bluefin tuna rolls, oysters, fish tacos, and lobster rolls. Would absolutely recommend to others.

our guide C was absolutely amazing. She added a stop that wasn’t a regular stop for the group to enjoy some oysters. I highly highly recommend this tour. It was narrated and guided by a company called intrepid. An absolute blast. The tour lasted almost 3 hours well over the schedule time.

This is a tour of the historic fish ier area and invoice lives stops at some delicious outlets . Especially enjoyed the clam chowder and fresh tuna hand rolls . Fresh oysters good. Nabile is passionate about this subject , and over ran, so I missed the last stop but this was no problem and he offered recompense which was not required , I would have loved to stay as enjoying it so much . So allow plenty time for the tour , but great value and I'd do it again, gladly .

A tour well worth taking! Our guide Tim led a fun tour and was very knowledgeable about local history and all of the excellent food we got to try.
You won’t go home hungry and you’ll definitely know more about Boston and the seaport than you did before the tour!

Our guide said the company Intrepid is new to food tours, and it shows. A food tour at minimum should have six tastings. This had four tastings in only three locations. We passed several places where we could have tasted oysters, shrimp, clams or other seafood items, but our guide skipped them all and we didn't get to try any of these. We won't be back for this one and will discourage friends from taking it.
The tour guide herself was fine....it just felt like Intrepid is just being stingy with their guests.

I really enjoyed this tour! The food given out was not only great portions, but also really flavorful and good! It was really fun learning about the fishing industry! Our tour guide Ilan was really knowledgeable and personable! He also provided great recs on other things to do and places to go!

Cie was our guide, and although she mentioned this was a newer tour for her, you would never have guessed it. She was incredibly warm, knowledgeable, and made the experience truly enjoyable. My two adult children and I had a great time, and the food we tasted was excellent—even in the cold, windy weather. I would definitely recommend both this tour and Cie to anyone visiting Boston.

It was just to cold to really enjoy the tour. Sitting outside in the wind eating was not fun. It would have been better in the summer. Also to much down time waiting for next stop
