Samples may include a lobster roll, New England clam chowder, Atlantic bluefin tuna hand rolls, stuffed clams, quahogs, or fresh raw oysters. Tastings may vary based on season and availability, but the experience is designed to leave you satisfied.
- Are there any dietary restrictions or allergy considerations? This seafood-focused tour centers on shellfish and is not suitable for guests with a shellfish allergy, as we are unable to provide substitutions. For all other food allergies or dietary requirements, please inform us at least 24 hours prior to departure. While we’ll do our best to accommodate, we cannot guarantee suitable alternatives if notice is not provided in advance.

It was just to cold to really enjoy the tour. Sitting outside in the wind eating was not fun. It would have been better in the summer. Also to much down time waiting for next stop

Come hungry! The tuna rolls and lobster rolls were fantastic. Connor was a great tour guide and he has been doing this tour for several years so he has fine-tuned his presentation and it’s very personal, interesting and informative! We loved it.

This was a fine tour but it is not as advertised. This was not “behind the scenes” at the pier — we stopped at one fish market and couldn’t even walk through to see the operations. The food was fine but not what we expected based on the description.

Our tour guide Maddie was terrific. The weather was horrible (cold, light snow). We were the only 2 crazy enough to take the tour on such a lousy day. Maddie met us at the meeting place on time and was happy to guide the 2 of us around the south seaport area. She shared lots of interesting, historical facts throughout the tour. We got to go behind the scenes and see the fish offloaded and packed for shipping. We enjoyed a cup of chowder at a local restaurant, and a delicious tuna tar tar snack at the pier. the tour ended at another local restaurant (with a great history) and enjoyed double stuffed scallops and an outstanding lobster roll. All food included with tour. Highly recommend this tour. Great guide and fabulous fresh seafood.

Our tour with Nabil was excellent! He was so knowledgeable and personable and kept our small group engaged and well fed! The behind the scenes definitely opened up a new world for us and we can't wait to start ordering from some of the spots we visited (btw, the bluefin tuna handroll that was made on the spot for us at one of the stops was to die for!). We now know how to judge a good chowder with the spoon trick and we've only been home for 24 hours & we're already craving the lobster roll we tried on this tour! Definitely recommend taking this tour!

Tim is so knowledgable about Boston harbor's seafood scene. He knew all the best spots for a bite to eat, especially ones not overrun by tourists (at least, not during our group's time at them!). This tour was also a great mix between the pier's history and current realities - like people in Boston's fishing industry working to make businesses more local. An insightful look at not just the food but the people and conditions that surround it! I found it the perfect way to spend a free afternoon in the city - the weather was great, the lobster delicious, and Tim is very funny. Would definitely recommend him as a guide if you want a relaxed, easy-going, and friendly time!

Excellent food tour around the Boston Seaport! We are experienced at food tours and found this one to hit the sweet spot! Knowledgeable and enthusiastic tour guide (Tim Mitchell) and just the right amount of stops. We enjoyed 4 tasty foods and learned so much about the seaport's history and Boston. We definitely do again and recommend to others.

It was an excellent tour about the fishing industry, history and seafood close to the fishing pier. It took us to several locations and venues, that are very recommendable. One was a patio seating area right within highrises. An oasis and gem! We went back there after the tour. Ilan was very knowledgeable and care very much about dietary needs.

Buy a tour made this tour very confusing. I originally booked for 11 AM a month later via tour changed it to 1 PM. The night before our tour, I found an email that said our tour was at 11 AM, but we had tickets for 1 PM. And it went from there… It was just a mess. Luckily my husband and I did the tour at 11 AM, but the tour guide showed up late. Thinking the tour ended up nice with good food, but it was a very confusing start.

Our tour guide took us through the Fish Pier and Boston Seaport area and we experienced wonderful Boston clam chowder, shrimp and oysters, fresh sushi, capped off with a delicious lobster roll. We definitely received more food than I’d expected and our guide Nabil was passionate, extremely knowledgeable and a joy to spend time with. I highly recommend this tour.

Tim was an amazing tour guide! He showed us so many cool places that tell the history of seafood and fishing in Boston while also offering delicious food throughout the day! We live nearby Boston, and I would recommend this tour for locals or tourists alike! We got to learn a bit, eat a bit, drink a bit and walk a bit!
