This seafood-focused tour centers on shellfish and is not suitable for vegetarians, vegans, or guests with a shellfish allergy, as we are unable to provide substitutions for the main tasting experiences. For all other food allergies or dietary requirements, please inform us at least 24 hours prior to departure. While we'll do our best to accommodate requests, we cannot guarantee suitable alternatives if notice is not provided in advance.

It was interesting but I would not do it again or suggest it. It was far too long. some places there was no need to stop at and the guide could have just kept talking as we walked.
Food was alright but would have liked a bit more more the price paid.
Nabil is the absolute best! Genuinely our favorite behind the scenes tour on our trip!! The food was delicious and his knowledge was crazy! Such a delight!
If you love seafood, this tour is for you. We learned a lot about the fishing industry and got up close to the boats and inside one of the packing plants. We even saw a flock of seagulls stealing fish from one of the trucks. The tastes of seafood included an amazing chowder, fish tacos, fresh sushi, lobster roll and fresh oyster.
Nabil and the tour were awesome! Informative and great food, a great combination. The lobster roll alone was worth it.
Travis was very knowledgeable and gave us a lot of great information. Food was excellent and we got a lot of exercise.

Absolutely incredible tour!! The Behind the Scenes at the Historic Fish Pier tour was one of the highlights of our time in Boston. Our tour guide, Cie Peterson, was truly a one-of-a-kind experience. She was incredibly knowledgeable, so much fun, and seemed to know all the right people!
We started at the historic Yankee Lobster Co., which had delicious food and great vibes. Easily the best clam chowder we had in the area!
From there, we got to go behind the scenes at Red’s Best and see part of the journey seafood takes from the boats to processing. Everyone there was so nice and willing to answer our questions, and they even made us some incredible bluefin tuna sushi rolls!
Along the way, we learned more about the history of the Fish Pier, the changing waterfront, and the development happening in Boston, including seeing where the new Fidelity building is located. It really gave us a better understanding of how much Boston has changed over the years while still maintaining such an important connection to the seafood industry.
Our final food stop was James Hook & Co., and we highly recommend going while the original location is still there!
Honestly, our only regret was not doing this tour on our first day in Boston. It gave us such a great sense of the city’s history, the importance seafood has played in Boston, and how much the area has changed over the years—all while eating some absolutely delicious food.
Even after the tour was technically finished, Cie took extra time to give us recommendations and show us another really cool spot. That extra effort made the experience even more special.
If we could take another tour with her, we absolutely would! Highly recommend this tour—especially early in your Boston trip!

This was a lovely walking tour! Our guide, Cie, was very knowledgeable and super sweet! The food tasting was delicious! (The BEST clam chowder!)
It’s not just a tour for tasting different foods. It’s also a terrific source of local historical information related to both the locale as well as the food itself.
Nabil was such an amazing guide! We had a great time, saw cool sites, and ate AMAZING food! I also feel like we got so much value for the cost! Highly recommend!
We had 3 stops, each with great food. However, we were only offered a cup of water at the first stop. The outside temperature was over 90 degrees. There was no availability fluids for the rest of the trip. I brought a water bottle with me, but that was done by stop #2. Our tour the day before offered water at each stop. Also said if we needed some in between stops that we could get something. Food doesn't taste as good when your mouth is like cotton.

Excellent food, very informative. We were definitely full after the food tastings. Travis did a great job!
Travis was great! Very friendly and knowledgeable. He made sure to get us comfortable and seated before bringing us our food and making sure we had anything we needed. This was a great way to get little bites of Boston.
She was an outstanding guide—attentive, caring, and genuinely invested in making sure everyone had a great experience. She paid close attention to every detail and treated everyone with the utmost respect and kindness. Her knowledge of Boston's history was impressive, and the tour was both informative and enjoyable. It was an amazing experience, and I would absolutely do it again. I would definitely request her as my guide on my next visit.
Tour guide was great and knowledgeable. Not much of a food tour, more of a walking tour. Did not stop at the third spot listed in description. This would be the 5th or 6th food tour my Wife and I have done around the world, and its the first that we left hungry. Not because we did not like or want was provide. For the price we do not think the tour was work it and do not recommend it.

Private seafood tour with Travis was excellent! All the food stops were amazing- definitely glad we did this tour. Our friends had a great time and we learned a lot about the history of the pier! Highly recommend.
The seafood was fresh and fun to try different things. It was a small group of 6 of us so you were able to get to know the tour guide and the people you were with as well.
It’s a great outdoor walk. Don’t plan another thing too close to ending time so you don’t have to rush.
I loved this tour. Our guide Nabil was really informative and passionate about the food, the neighborhood and the local fishing industry. The fishing pier was one of the most unique places I have been to on a food tour! And all the food was delicious!
Great Tour. The food tastings were an excellent assortment of Boston seafood highlights. Claire was very knowledgeable in regards to the history of the seaport and the food we sampled and an all around excellent and awesome guide. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the city.

Will, our guide was very personable and went out of his way when things went a bit awry.
I would recommend not running this tour on major festival days . It made wait times at our stops unreasonable…
Tour guide was late. In 2 1/2 hours we had a bowl of clam chowder. Nothing was prepared for us. Nothing was ready. We ended up leaving the tour, which is the first time I’ve left a tour ever in my life.. the company said that we left the tour because we didn’t like the vibe and will not give us a refund. Do not book this tour!!!

We had a great time with Maddy walking around the seaport visiting the old classics in Boston. I had lived in the city for 20 years but now life elsewhere. It was so cool to go back and revisit and know the classics are still there.
Will was awesome and tour was great.
He was knowledgeable and kept a great pace.

The food choices on this tour were excellent -- clam chowder, lobster roll, tuna sushi hand roll, and oysters. We also enjoyed Travis, our guide, who was fun and informative. But...our guide did not check ahead and took us to a scheduled restaurant that was closed for the day, forcing him to re-route our group to an unscheduled stop. The tour also went well past the scheduled end time.
