Get to know Boston’s thriving beer scene on a morning or evening brew tour. Chat with brewery owners and learn about the equipment used to make beer, the brewing process and best of all, what the different kinds of beer taste like.
Meet your guide in downtown Boston, then hop on a bus and travel to local breweries. Learn about the different types of beer as well as the history and specialty of each brewery. Among the possibilities are Samuel Adams, Night Shift Brewing, Dorchester Brewing, Slumbrew, Mystic Brewery, Downeast Cider House or Beer Works.
Samuel Adams is a well-known brewery with a long history of various types and styles of craft beer. Night Shift Brewing is a craft brewery featuring a taproom with communal tables and an assortment of barrel-aged beers. Dorchester Brewing houses state-of-the-art brewing equipment. Slumbrew's motto is "Make good liquids; make good friends," which tells you all you need to know about their drinks. Mystic Brewery is a craft brewery dedicated to brewing distinctly regional beer. And Downeast Cider House is New England’s craft cider headquarters.
All tours end at The Meadhall, a spacious gastropub with a large craft beer and mead selection, plus American bar fare. Get a private tour and enjoy lunch with a beer.
Both tours conclude in downtown Boston.

Outstanding. My family of 4 included two non-beer drinkers and the experience was great for all. Raj was our tour guide and made all the difference. The non-beer drinkers discovered options they could enjoy too. We went three breweries, and Raj was super knowledgeable & hospitable. Thank you!

Bill was very knowledgeable and presented a lot of interesting information. Various beer selections were very good. Sorry Sam Adam’s was not one of the stops

We had a great time on our brewery tour. Our guide gave us lots of history, was funny, and very personable. The four breweries we visited all had their own twists and specialties. Joe, our guide, knew so much about the brewing process and differences between beers. We learned and laughed a lot. Lunch was awesome too. This was worth the money and we would definitely do it again.

Tour guide was great very informative. Destinations were horrible. Like deserted bars nobody has heard of. Samuel adams brewery looked great only gave us 2 small samples and rushed right out. Why didn't we try a few?. Food was mediocre.

This was a great tour. Travis, our beer guide, is exceedingly knowledgeable about beer. His jokes aren’t too bad either! This tour was a birthday gift for my husband so I went along to keep him company. He enjoyed it very much. I even liked the tour & I hate beer!

Is was a very fun tour! Our only issue was our Confirmation letter told us to be at the site at 11:00 and your supposed to be there 10-15 min. Early. And our tour wasn’t until 11:45. But, on the plus the tour guide was great!
Stevan_H, Aug 2021
