Phew, that was a close one. Teen son loved our North End Neighborhood Tour, but rated it a tongue-in-cheek 4.5 stars. Why not five stars? "You didn't harass my dad enough!!!" Thankfully, Mom thought that it was just the right amount of good-natured spousal harassment, and that the food wasn't too bad, either! From the very beginning, this tour did not disappoint. When booking the reservation, I needed a little flexibility in time and Viator and Audrey were helpful, prompt, and accommodating. Audrey was so much fun and so knowledgeable, the food delicious, and the North End beautiful and charming. Ending with a full sit down dinner was the perfect end to the tour. We went to Caffe Victoria for cappuccinos, espressos, pasteries, and affogato after the tour. I highly recommend this. Bring cash with you! Many establishments in the North End only accept cash as payment. While the tour is paid for in advance, you may want to make purchases before, after, or along the way.

Together, on a beautiful fall day, you laughed, you ate, and you laughed and ate some more. And what better way to top off the tour after a lovely pasta finale than at Caffe Vittoria, the oldest caffe in Boston? If its vintage charm didn't win you over, we suspect that its multi-award-winning cappuccino did. From beginning to end, this was a great tour. The food at all stops was absolutely delicious. There was a great variety. It felt like we were with a celebrity because Audrey seemed to know everyone. We got to meet a few of the restaurant owners & get some inside scoop. She was extremely knowledgeable about everything on the North End. There was a mix-up with the time but Audrey was very accommodating and everything worked out perfectly. I would definitely do it again & have already recommended it to family.
