Tour guide was super passionate about the history and made it very interesting and lots of fun. If you genuinely want to learn about the history, this is the right tour.

I call it the optimized Freedom Trail walking tour. Despite my personal touch to the title, the tour was exceptional. I walked away from this tour with more historical facts than the media could ever concisely fit into a movie; the on-site experience is truly necessary to comprehend the magnitude of the events that took place in Boston as the country was being born. Sven did an excellent job of strategically optimizing the Freedom Trail to safely navigate the busy streets of downtown Boston with a sizable group. He really knew his stuff. The details he stitched together as we progressively visited each Freedom Trail landmark added a welcoming structure to an otherwise complicated story about why America's first steps started in Boston.
The Freedom Trail led by Cyrys M. was so educational and interesting. We heard fascinating history of graveside, followed the trail from previous revolutionary Boston to the catalyst ofvthe Boston Tea Party. Cyrus was especially articulate and excited about his subject, dispelled myths and offered a truly superb account of our history. I will read bit more about this time in our history and perhaps retain it better than I did in 8th and 11th grade American History.

This is a really interesting walk, that covers a lot of the history of Boston as well as a highly informed and balanced view of the start of the American revolution. Wear comfortable shoes ! But it’s worth every step.
It was very informative and easy walking, even for 80 year olds! Dana was very enthusiastic and brought pictures that helped visualize this pivotal time.
Lots of history, shameless plugs to restaurants but overall an enjoyable tour. Please note, there is a lot of walking.

A lot of talking and information and no stopping at points of interest unless you purchase the upgraded package which we did however we didn’t want to leave the group every time nor circle back after 2.5 hrs of walking g. Make sure your tour includes stops with your guide along the way

Hi Karin, this is Ted Clark, owner of the local tour business who conducted your guided tour. I'm glad to hear you had a good tour! Please note, our small-group, 2.5-hour walking tour experience does NOT enter historic museums, several of which have a separate admission fee. If we entered every museum on the Freedom Trail, the tour could easily take an entire day :) Boston has a lot of history!
To provide clarification for others who are reading: we partner with Freedom Trail museums along to offer a discounted pass—the "Boston 250 Pass"—in celebration of America's 250th anniversary this year. This special pass grants self-guided entry to five historic sites and is valid for seven days. The pass is entirely separate from our guided tour, however!
This was a great history lesson enthusiastically delivered by Megan. She projected really well even when in the few noisy places and adapted to the needs of everyone in our small group. The walking pace was comfortable. We learned so much.

Where good walking shoes! The USS Constitution is a fairly short walk from the end of the tour & there is a ferry boat available to get you back- just block from where the tour started.

We're glad you enjoyed the Freedom Trail! To clarify for readers, there are tours that begin near the ferry landing back from Charlestown Navy Yard. Hub Town Tours where this review was posted does not start in that place. We begin on Boston Common, which is a 10-15 minute walk from where the ferry docks.
