Our group of four booked this tour on a whim, and it ended up being the highlight of our trip. The 'warm van' promise was fully kept, but the real star of the show was our guide, Peter. I cannot speak highly enough of him. Often, a three-hour drive can feel long, but Peter kept our attention the entire time. He has an endless supply of fascinating stories and local history that you simply wouldn't get from a guide book. He managed to make the city come alive while we stayed perfectly comfortable. Loved this audio tour! Way better than a guided tour. Guided tours I have been on in the past it has been hard to hear even with an ear piece so this way so nice! I learned so much and it was nice to be able to stop for lunch when we wanted to or any shops we had wanted to go to.

Although this is not the cheapest way to see the Boston area, it is by far the best if you want to see a maximum amount in a minimum time in great comfort! It was just myself and my husband for 6 hours, but it would be cheaper if you have more people to split the cost. Being chauffeured around by Sam was wonderful! He is so affable, knowledgeable and flexible and made our tour a total pleasure! He picked us up and returned us to our Waltham suburban Boston hotel which was very convenient. You can arrange this tour to your liking and stay at any given place as much or as little as you like. I highly recommend this tour and ask for Sam!

Loved this ride. It’s supervised by three very friendly retired guys. They keep you safe when cycling and provide interesting background and history about Boston at frequent stopping points. The bikes are very good quality. This is a great way to see the city.

Although there is a good bit of walking it is manageable since they do not walk very fast and there are numerous stops along the way. Our guide was very informative however it was difficult to hear him at times due to surrounding city noise. A microphone would have been helpful. We tried to stay close to guide so we could hear better. We loved getting to tour the Old North Church and seeing the role it played in the war. We also very much enjoyed the boat tour around the bay,

We rode in a comfortable car and we walked through a neighborhood. The tour included a snack (complementary) and time for lunch on our own. Because it was rainy, we chose to ride after our lunch instead of more walking. The good thing is that we could choose. We got lots of history.

Our private tour with Martin was great! Martin is very personable & knowledgable of the history & sites in Salem. The tour accommodated our needs & we saw everything we were hoping to see. This was our first time in Salem and we opted to go into the witch museum; Martin was waiting for us as we exited. Pick up & drop off at the cruise port went smoothly. We would definitely book with Martin again!
