Great class, unfortunate delay

Giovanni was an excellent teacher who offered precise instructions and insights throughout our pizza and gelato making class. Giovanni didn’t have a say in this but I do wish management had let him go ahead with the class rather than wait 30+ minutes for 4 latecomers who later multiplied into 8 latecomers and raised the class cap to 14. Again Giovanni was an amazing instructor, and we learned so much from him. The complications were beyond his control

What a great night thanks to Jem! I’m a terrible cook and Jem made it a fun and informative experience. Pasta was delicious and sitting at table with other travelers was a great way to finish the class. Very generous servings of pasta and lots of spritzes too. What a fantastic experience from beginning to end! We booked the pizza and gelato-making class as part of my daughter’s birthday celebration, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our entire trip. Our instructor was absolutely wonderful. She made my daughter feel incredibly special on her birthday with thoughtful moments of attention throughout the class, while still ensuring that every participant felt included and engaged. It was the perfect balance—my daughter felt celebrated without taking away from anyone else’s experience. Before we even started cooking, our instructor shared fascinating history about Italian cuisine and how it connects to the local culture and traditions. I loved how she wove those stories into the cooking process, giving us a deeper appreciation for the food we were creating. This class was a hit with our entire multi-generational group. From the seniors in our family to the kids, everyone was engaged, laughing, learning, and having fun. The energy stayed high the entire time, and it was obvious that our instructor is truly passionate about what she does. We made pizza dough completely from scratch, learned helpful tips and techniques, and customized our pizzas with our favorite toppings. During the gelato-making portion, several participants—including some of the children—were invited to help stir the gelato while learning about its history and preparation. Those hands-on moments made the experience even more memorable. The class was informative, interactive, and incredibly fun. We left with full stomachs, new skills, wonderful memories, and a deeper appreciation for Italian food and culture. I highly recommend this experience to families, couples, groups of friends, and travelers of all ages. If I am ever back in the area, I would absolutely book this class again with the same instructor. She and her team provided the perfect ending to our trip and helped create birthday memories that my daughter will never forget.

Wonderful Day Activity

We booked this experience in advance and felt like we received plenty of information and directions on how to get there. We opted to take the Metro, and were greeted with a friendly smile within the timeframe they said we would be picked up. The class was located outside of Rome, but we loved getting to see outside of the city. It did take additional time, but we felt it was worth the journey. The cooking class is outside in rustic style huts and outdoor area. It was so quaint and pleasant. Our chef for the day Alessia was so engaging, funny, and helpful. We are so glad we read the reviews about not eating before! We did the 10:30 class and it was perfect timing for lunch. We ate our homemade pizzas, pasta, and tiramisu and were stuffed. We were impressed with the class and would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to do a fun half day activity.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Wonderful Roman Cooking Experience! Our cooking class with Riccardo was one of the highlights of our time in Rome. From the moment we arrived, it was clear how passionate he is about Italian cooking and sharing his knowledge with others. There were eight of us in the class, creating a fun, interactive, and welcoming atmosphere. Under Riccardo’s guidance, we learned how to make homemade pasta from scratch, including ravioli, spaghetti, and fettuccine, along with delicious traditional sauces. He explained each step clearly and made the experience enjoyable for cooks of all skill levels. The setting was warm and inviting, with background music adding to the authentic Italian atmosphere. As we enjoyed the dishes we had prepared, everything was paired with delicious wines that complemented the meal perfectly. Riccardo’s enthusiasm, expertise, and love of Italian cuisine made this much more than a cooking class—it was a memorable cultural experience. Definitely recommend!!

A fantastic experience, me and my adult daughter attended this workshop together and we absolutely loved it. Giulia, Alex and Leonora were very friendly, helpful and so patient. The class was so much fun, we each got to make our own mosaic which we got to keep and bring home at the end of the class. The group size was small which was good.The studio was lovely, filled with the wonderful mosaics, and air-conditioned too. Would 100% recommend the workshop!!

Fun pasta cooking class - When in Rome!

Cooking class in a clean kitchen/school environment. We were packed in but we made it work. Anna was a great chef/host. Highly recommend one of her classes. Wine, soft drinks throughout. Made 3 types of pasta. She demonstrated 3 different sauces. We ate it all and finished with gelato and walk back to hotel.

Wonderful Experience at the Farm

It was our favorite day so far. Got out of the City to rural Zagarolla. Claudia and Angela were wonderful. Learned some secrets (at least to us) for making perfect pasta. The food was wonderful, the farm environment was beautiful and Claudia’s husband serenaded us. Would definitely recommend and we hope we can go back some day.

Loved this experience! Chef Francesco Was Amazing!

We had the most wonderful experience today at our cooking class! Chef Francesco was so impressive! He was genuinely so kind to our family and was so knowledgeable about the food we prepared. He broke everything down for us and encouraged us to try every part of the preparation! The kitchen was so nice and well organized! Plenty of space for our family of four! The food was so delicious and the variety was great. We cooked 3 different pastas and meat dish. We truly felt like this was the highlight of our trip to Rome! We all really enjoyed our time together! This is a must do experience and we are so happy we did it!! We totally recommend this experience to anyone!!
