Angela and Bea made this one of the highlights of our trip! They were incredibly warm, welcoming, and made everyone feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. Their instructions were clear and easy to follow, so even beginners could make delicious homemade pasta and tiramisu with confidence. The food was absolutely incredible, and there was plenty of it. We left full, happy, and excited to recreate everything at home! It was such a fun, hands-on experience filled with great conversation, laughter, and amazing food. If you’re looking for an authentic Italian cooking class, this is an absolute must do. I would recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

We really enjoyed this...

We really enjoyed this class, and our 8 and 6 year olds loved being able to make their own pastas. Our teacher was very engaging and the time flew by! We learned a lot. Our only negative feedback would be that the name says you'll make gelato but we only learned how to make pasta. We got to eat some freshly-made gelato at the end of class, but my spouse and I were most looking forward to learning how to make it, not just eat it.

Fun Night of Cooking

We really enjoyed our cooking class in Rome. The pasta was delicious, the accompanying wine was lovely, and our chef Eugenio was friendly and engaging. It was a fun addition to our Italian holiday. The recipes were delicious - might try to recreate them at home (yet somehow I know it won't be as good). We were a party of three, as we were traveling with our daughter who just graduated high school, so we were paired with another family and it was great. Would definitely recommend.

We had a wonderful time making pizza and tiramisu! Our chef was funny, creative, and incredibly attentive to every detail. An Absolute Blast!

If you are looking for an upbeat, high-energy, and completely delicious experience, Kelly and her team are it! From the second class started, the energy was incredible. Kelly gave clear, step-by-step instructions and was right there with hands-on help whenever anyone needed it, making everyone feel completely comfortable. To top it all off, the spritzers were flowing the entire time! Not only did we get to enjoy them throughout the class, but they also shared the exact directions so we can recreate the perfect spritz at home. Such a great class, fantastic hosts, and an amazing vibe. Thank you, Kelly and team! I can't recommend this enough!

This activity is way out of the way but was a wonderful experience. We really enjoyed seeing more of a woodsy/country section of Rome and that class was fun and informative (and yummy). Highly recommend. Just be sure you are aware of the distance. They offer a free van which is useful if you want to take the metro to the pickup area, or happen to be near that area.

What a fantastic experience from beginning to end! We booked the pizza and gelato-making class as part of my daughter’s birthday celebration, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our entire trip. Our instructor was absolutely wonderful. She made my daughter feel incredibly special on her birthday with thoughtful moments of attention throughout the class, while still ensuring that every participant felt included and engaged. It was the perfect balance—my daughter felt celebrated without taking away from anyone else’s experience. Before we even started cooking, our instructor shared fascinating history about Italian cuisine and how it connects to the local culture and traditions. I loved how she wove those stories into the cooking process, giving us a deeper appreciation for the food we were creating. This class was a hit with our entire multi-generational group. From the seniors in our family to the kids, everyone was engaged, laughing, learning, and having fun. The energy stayed high the entire time, and it was obvious that our instructor is truly passionate about what she does. We made pizza dough completely from scratch, learned helpful tips and techniques, and customized our pizzas with our favorite toppings. During the gelato-making portion, several participants—including some of the children—were invited to help stir the gelato while learning about its history and preparation. Those hands-on moments made the experience even more memorable. The class was informative, interactive, and incredibly fun. We left with full stomachs, new skills, wonderful memories, and a deeper appreciation for Italian food and culture. I highly recommend this experience to families, couples, groups of friends, and travelers of all ages. If I am ever back in the area, I would absolutely book this class again with the same instructor. She and her team provided the perfect ending to our trip and helped create birthday memories that my daughter will never forget.

The pasta making class was so much fun, I have always wanted to make my own pasta. Maitta made it easy and we really enjoyed our time. Eating the fettuccine and ravioli was the best part, maybe the best meal I had in Rome. The restaurant we had the class at was called Gusto. We met 3 other groups of travelers, all from the US. We shared travel stories and had a wonderful conversation.

Amazing Unique Experience

Wear good shoes as they will need to have good treads since you’ll be in the mountains on hills. Some folks did slip because it recently rained. Other than that, this was our highlight of our Rome trip. It was so much fun and the dogs were adorable. To top it off, the lunch was amazing!!!

Amazing experience

It was an amazing experience learning cooking and enjoying dinner with other fellow travelers from all over the world (US, Canada, Israel and French Island near Madagascar called Reunion…our teacher Carlos was amazing and patient correcting mistakes made by some of us…it’s worth the experience and definitely recommend.
