This tour enriched our vacation to Italy dramatically. We spent five incredible hours on a cooking and cave tour in Soriano nel Cimino,and it truly became the highlight of our entire trip. Our hosts, Katia and her daughter, welcomed us into their beautiful kitchen cave and treated us like family from the moment we arrived. We learned to make gnocchi, saltimbocca and tiramisu - each step hands-on, fun and filled with laughter. The food was delicious, the setting was magical and the hospitality was beyond anything we expected. This was a unique, heartfelt and memorable experience worth every cent. If you’re looking for something authentic and special, don’t hesitate to- this is it!

Everything about this class was magical. I’ve wanted to visit Italy and experience cooking with a local for years. This dream came true with Katina and her daughters. My daughters, granddaughters, and I had the most fun! We left this time together with recipes of what we cooked, full bellies, great pictures, and an apron to use at home to help us bring back these precious memories! Thank you Katina for the hospitality!

Fun, family style cooking class! Or hostess, her sister and her daughter made us feel like family and we made an amazing meal with them! Their cave was nice and cool during the 90F degree day and the food and wine were excellent! Definitely worth it!

The instructor was incredibly nice, spoke great English, made incredible food, and was very encouraging! Her assistant picked us up in a car in the middle of town and drove us to their kitchen in a cave in the side of the mountain in town. She stopped so we could get a picture of Soriano from multiple angles. The instructor was very clear, helpful, and friendly. She asked about our lives when we took a break in the middle of class and told us about her experience and life in Soriano. The cooking prep was fun, the food was great, and the atmosphere was perfect. She even gave us aprons and a recipe booklet to keep! We truly felt like we were part of the family meal. The only thing that could make it better was if one of the neighborhood cats came to visit, but one of the neighborhood dogs did though! Absolute must do in Soriano!
