Carlo was an incredible chef! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal! He took care of everything. He came to our AirBnB with everything he needed and made a meal for 7 of us. It was a 4 course authentic Italian meal. It was one of the best meals we had in Italy during the 10 days we were here. We highly recommend Carlo and this experience. He speaks limited English, but a translate app allowed us to converse with him and have a truly memorable night.

Chef Carlo came to our Airbnb flat and prepared a fantastic meal, and graciously let the 4 kids in our group help him to prepare the various dishes. Despite limited English (thought better than our Italian to be sure) he was able to communicate with the kids and had them super engaged. Started with bruschetta, then onto pasta carbonara, then saltimbocca, and finally a tiramisu for desert. We were a little leery to serve our kiddos veal, so he agreed ahead of time to make the saltimbocca with chicken, and I also had asked him to bring along some traditional Italian soft drinks for the kids (limonata, oranciata, etc.) and a few bottles of wine to pair for an extra fee. It was a really fun night for all of us, a lovely little break from eating out every meal while on our holiday, giving us a chance to enjoy ourselves together at our flat while Carlo made everything and also made a huge dent on the clean-up! The kids said it was the best chicken they’d ever had, and there was not even a crumb left of the dessert, despite us all being stuffed by the end of the meal. We all had a great evening with Carlo - so much fun!

I have celiac and couldn’t find a pasta making class like everyone else in Italy. I was on the hunt for several weeks for something special when I stumbled upon Carlo. His first language is of course Italian, but with the help of Google translate nothing was lost in conversation. He had zero issues making amazing dinner for the 5 of us. Carlo is an absolute hidden gem on viator. I can’t say enough great things about this experience and Carlo.

The most memorable part about this trip was being able to be have an authentic Roman dinner prepared by a wonderful chef. He was very accommodating and professional. He taught my friends and I the different courses and the items used to prepare the meal. He was also very informative on which wine would pair best with each meal. I highly recommend that you book the Private Chef the first night in Rome. It will teach you how the Italians enjoy their meals 1 course at a time. BOOK IT NOW!!

Carlo made this an incredible experience. He was able to whip up a 4 course meal in the tiny kitchen of our Airbnb apartment. The food was heavenly. Each course was better than the last and it concluded with a tasty tiramisu. I highly recommend this experience!

We had an incredibly wonderful meal. Carlos food was some of the finest we had for our month long holiday in the Mediterranean. His pasta carbonara was excellent. His tiramisu was the perfect way to end our dinner. I informed him that my daughter is lactose free and Carlos made her a special lactose free tiramisu that she enjoyed every bite of. I, my wife, and our three kids would each give Carlos five stars and would recommend dinner with him. Enjoying a home cooked dinner vs going out was just the best way to end the day. We enjoyed our conversation just as much.

Carlo is an incredible chef and such a kind person. We had Carlo come to our Airbnb on our first night in Rome, as we knew we’d be tired from the flight, but wanted a great meal. We asked if he could bring wine as well, and he picked great selections. We’re traveling with our two teenage daughters and one is a very picky eater. Carlo did a great job customizing her courses, which she loved, especially the carbonara. We highly recommend Carlo. Such a great experience and great way to start our trip in Rome.

We had a long day of bike riding and sight seeing. Having Marco take care of dinner that evening was a highlight and a great way to end our day. He took care of everything (even the wine staying within our budget). The food was excellent and Marco was very entertaining but also allowed us to relax. Fantastic dinner and a great experience in all. Cannot recommend highly enough. Carlo prepared a delicious dinner of Roman dishes and served them with a kind and friendly manner. We’re travelling with a baby so dining out at night is difficult, this was the perfect solution. We stayed in but got a restaurant quality meal. Good communication before the dinner and a spotless kitchen after, Grazie Mille Carlo!
