Our family of four, including two girls ages 11 and 8, really enjoyed our pizza and gelato making experience. Mattia was a wonderful teacher - he walked us through and explained each step with such knowledge and patience, and was very sweet with the kids. So fun. Took our 2 adult children and grandchildren 1,3,14 and 16. They are loved it! Very interesting and Andrea came around and helped everyone with the dough. Andrea was very encouraging to all. Would highly recommend for a memorable experience!

I texted the tour operator and asked if there was parking. She did not respond, even though I texted an hour and a half before the event. The Desk Clerk at our hotel said for us to just drive. Had the tour guide responded, we would have known that there was NO parking and made our event on time. We called and they said we could not join late. It was a stressful and frustrating experience. I asked for a partial refund due to their lack of communication and it was denied. They offered a next day discounted price, but of course we were leaving the town. Other tour operators have promptly responded to texts. I would not recommend this experience.

However, messages sent through platforms like Viator are sometimes delayed by their internal system, which unfortunately can cause important information to reach us later than expected. We understand how frustrating that must have been, and we regret that this impacted your arrival and overall experience.
While we couldn't accommodate a late arrival that day due to the class structure, we did our best to offer a discounted option for the following day, even though we understand the timing didn’t work for your travel plans.

We had cooking class with Leo and it was great! Leo even had my teen engaged in cooking! We ate the food that we made and it was so simple and delish! The place is clean and Leo is very organized! I would def book again!

This was the cutest/coolest fun experience. Our hosts Hassan & Claire were adorable! Everything was organized so well and made sense. My husband and I are avid cooks but wanted to try something fun and this class was a great experience and we learned a lot!

First the good, it was a great family bonding experience the tiramisu making was fun. We made pizza dough (which was discarded immediately) and given us fresh rested dough which we filled with sauce cheese and toppings and placed them on the tray and the chef proceeded to cook the pizza while we waited. However the pizza was severely undercooked from the bottom and burnt from the top. The cooking class needs to revisit their approach as the amount of time for the tray to get heated for the pizza to cook on the bottom was not sufficient all the while the top getting heated up. Also the tiramisu could have used extra cooling or more time to set.

Loved our chef! We had a wonderful time during his class
Only issue for me was the cleanliness of the pizza pans. There’s layers of black crud and built up. Seems like they only clean the center of the pan- you can see the metallic color steel, but the edges are covered with black buildup. Flakes got in my dough. The pans need a proper cleaning. I felt uncomfortable putting the pizza dough directly on the pan. If the pans can’t be cleaned properly, providing everyone with a barrier like parchment paper could be a solution.
Also this experience isn’t good for small children - I bought my 4 year old a ticket
But I needed to help her during the whole experience- it would’ve been better if I purchased one ticket for the two of us

Regarding your concerns about the cleanliness of the pizza pans, we want to assure you that we take hygiene and cleanliness very seriously in our kitchen. The black buildup you noticed on the pans is not dirt but rather a natural seasoning that forms over time from the high temperatures in our ovens. These pans are regularly maintained and oiled to withstand the intense heat and to enhance the flavor of the pizza crusts. However, we apologize if this caused any discomfort during your cooking experience. Your suggestion of providing parchment paper as a barrier due to the really high temperatures it cant be used.
We also appreciate your feedback about the suitability of the experience for young children. While we strive to create a welcoming environment for all ages, we understand that hands-on cooking classes can sometimes require additional assistance for younger participants. We will review our ticketing options to provide more clarity and flexibility for families in similar situations.

We had so much fun today ! Our chef ( Sarah I think but I’m so jet lagged I’m blanking ) was amazing ! She was so good with our 4 year old daughter and just had such a fun spirit ! The pizza also tasted so delicious and the tiramisu yummy 😋😘 definitely recommend this expirienece when in Rome !

We actually made ravioli, taramisu, and fettuccine. We also made new friends, and had a fantastic time. My wife said it was the best part of our 20 day vacation. Even I, the husband, enjoyed getting my hands in flour and look forward to trying this at home.

We had signed up for pizza/gelato class, but restaurant was unable to fulfill this class offering so substituted with a more expensive pasta/tiramisu class for same price. It was an enjoyable experience, and introduced us to a new delight in how to prepare tiramisu. Chef Jessica was engaging and helpful in evaluating our pasta and offering suggestions for improvements. Enjoyed our creations with a shared dinner with fellow classmates.
