Anthony gave my husband and myself a very informative, unique and sometimes funny tour of the real Lisbon. There was a lot of walking uphill but he saved us a climb part of the way by using the lift which helped. He introduced us to 2 locals where one had a local drink to share with us. Not all of the tour was to the tourist areas but also to where the locals hang out. It made the tour somehow more authentic. We enjoyed it a lot.

Perfect way to get to know this unique neighborhood. Our tour guide, Bruno, was very passionate about sharing his home country. He’s very knowledgeable about the Alfama area and he made our tour very interesting. He spoke to us about the people who lived there, the history and costumes. We even stopped to try a typical drink from Lisbon. I would recommend the store to anyone interested in learning and visiting Alfama.

Jaime brought Alfama alive for us with his thorough knowledge of the history and culture of the area that was not destroyed by the famous earthquake. He is a great story teller and able to educate while interjecting humor and fun facts. We loved the stop for Ginjinha, the amazing cherry cordial from the area.

Jaime was a great guide. Knowledgeable, fun, loud enough. Not too much walking even though a hood 2.5 hours. Maybe 2 miles total.

This is probably the best tour we’ve been to so far. Jamie(James) is an absolutely fantastic tour guide - so knowledgable and the way he presented the tour was just fascinating. We learned so much about Alfama and Lisbon, we visited lots of interesting places and Jamie took us to multiple hidden spots with incredible views of Lisbon. We had the chance to taste the traditional Portuguese ginjinha , and after the ‘official’ tour ended Jamie took us to a small place where we tasted local green wine. We met some lovely people and genuinely had the best time! Highly recommend!

Een zeer mooie wijk bezocht met een topgids Jorge. Hij leerde ons heel veel, wist veel te vertellen en er was zelfs een illegaal trekje aan. Ook niet-toeristische kant van de wijk leren kennen. Kortom zeker doen!
