Itinerary

After going to your easy-to-find meeting point, this bus tour allows you to visit many of Washington D.C.'s major highlights in just one morning, with commentary along the way to eliminate the need for research.

Your first stop is at the U.S. Capitol for an exterior photo op, followed by a drive down the National Mall, viewing Smithsonian Museums, and the Washington Monument.

Next, walk alongside the White House and Lafayette Square Park, seeing the U.S. Treasury and other key landmarks. The tour showcases many different memorials, including the National World War II Memorial, the Franklin Delano Roosevelt Memorial, and the Martin Luther King Memorial.

Those who chose to upgrade can enjoy a Washington Monument visit post-tour. There’s also an upgrade that offers a Tidal Basin walk to see the cherry blossoms. If you didn’t opt for either upgrade, the tour ends at the Lincoln Memorial.

The tour operator will send your ticket to you on the date of your scheduled tour. Tickets will be sent to travelers via WhatsApp. If you did not provide us with a valid WhatsApp phone number during checkout, please contact us prior to your tour date. 4. Attraction Tickets are non-refundable once issued to travelers. 5. Tickets are used for self-guided entry into the attractions. Entry is not a part of the guided tour experience and is for the traveler to use independently.

Experience was pleasurable and Tyrone was an excellent guide and source of information. The only downside was we were as advertised unable to see the WW2 memorial because of time constraints, because of protests causing traffic delays. This to me was important since my Dad was a veteran of that war.

This is a great way to see the major landmarks without having to worry about traffic and parking! We had a sampling of each spot with photo ops and Sally was friendly and very knowledgeable not just in the past, but the future plans for the city. Our driver Zuma was skillful in safely navigating the random obstacles on the road to ensure we were able to access all of our locations. At the end of our tour, they dropped us off in front of our museum upgrade, so we didn’t have to do any extra walking. The whole process was easy from beginning to end and we couldn’t have asked for a better first-timer experience.

Not what was expected

While there were some enjoyable aspects of this tour, overall I was very frustrated, angry, and disappointed in the experience. I paid $260 (for 2 people) for the tour. I was told to be at the National Archives at 8am. At 7:50am I got a call stating adamantly that I needed to be at the Supreme Court building. Note: caused an additional Uber ride/cost. Got to the Supreme Court building, had to wait in line for an hour to wait to enter the Capitol. It was freezing. In all fairness, the wait was not the fault of the tour company. Started touring the Capitol and within an hour was told by the tour guide that we had to hurry and leave to go meet the tour bus for the monument part of the tour. What we paid for was the monument tour first (starting at the National Archives) and the upgraded Capitol and Library of Congress in the afternoon. As we were running to catching the tour bus we asked about the Library of Congress. We were told that is only in the afternoon tour. Yes, I understood that AND it was what we paid for and then were told something different 10 minutes prior to the tour starting. The monument tour was supposed to include the White House. Never did it. Instead they added Iwo Jima which we already saw on our own because it wasn’t part of this tour. We were supposed to end back at the National Archives where we would have walked back to our hotel. Instead we ended at the Washington Harbor to accommodate other people’s upgraded boat tour. Had to get another additional Uber to return to hotel. Summary…two extra Uber costs, did not see White House or Library of Congress. Spent money on upgrade that wasn’t provided. Never again! Don’t believe what the description describes. Evidently they do whatever they want with no regard for your expense, inconvenience, or expectations.

Effectively an expensive taxi - our guide didn’t really care about the group and if anyone is listening / hearing him. The level was extremely basic (effectively reading what’s written on name plates). Disappointing… driver was nice though. I tried to contact the company about this and got not response which is not great.

Perfect outing to see the most significant monuments

My husband and I took the Stewart with our adult daughter. Kris was such a helpful chauffeur, and Sally the perfect commentator. She provided the perfect context for each stop, and we had time to explore the monumentson our own. I found it particularly moving to visit the Roosevelt, MLK, and Jefferson memorials. Interesting tour with room to improve

Tour guides were generally informative and entertaining. The meeting point was on the opposite side of the street, not as shown in the app! To reach the afternoon Capitol tour we had to take a taxi on our own expense! The 2h Capitol tour is led by a Capitol guide and includes a 30 minutes general film about the Capitol for all Capitol visitors.

Great tour and refresher on American history

5 stars! Vernon, our guide, was terrific and had great insight into the history of many of the monument sites. He worked at the Senate for many years and was able to share his experiences and memories, as well as the deep history of each site. He was also fun and hilarious, and kept us laughing in between sites. Godfrey, our driver, was always waiting for us at each stop of the tour with cold bottled water and AC, which in the summer heat, was greatly appreciated. He also made sure to drop me off at the African American museum in time for my optional tour. Really great experience all around and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to have a great time in DC.

Worth the time and money

Hit all the major stuff with no fuss. I hate planing and this tour was the perfect way to see what I wanted with little time wasted and plenty of great info. Guide and driver were fantastic. If you want to just hang around for long periods of time at each spot, probably not the right tour for you. If you want to see the most you can and spend just the right amount time for pictures and taking in the sights, this tour is spot on.
