Wonderful tour. A great way to visit Arlington and Mt. Vernon in one day. Picked up from our hotel in DC. 9am, returned to hotel 4pm. Definitely worth seeing if you’re in DC. Great for couples and families with kids also. Very convenient, didn’t need to schedule transportation or purchase tour tickets, everything is included with this tour. Our guide Brittney was fantastic. She has a pleasant demeanor and knowledgeable. A great way to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary.

Our guide Brittany made the experience first class right from the beginning. Pick up right at our hotel and then a quick stop at Walgreens to get some essentials. We were visiting during the busiest ever weekend for DC…4th of July for the 250th during an unprecedented heat wave. We were dropped off right at the door or entry to all places visited making it easy. She also took the time to help me find a grave at Arlington that was important to me as a Marine Veteran, John Basilone. The entire experience felt very VIP and made a visit during a very busy and hot time a joy. You won’t regret this decision and will feel better when you see the crowds that don’t have the benefit of a VIP guide.

We did the Arlington National Cemetery and Mount Vernon private tour today. Our tour guide Brittany was wonderful. She is very knowledgeable about the sites we visited and is very personable. We had a great day. I would highly rwcommend.

Mt Vernon and Arlington National Cemetery

We were conveniently picked up at our hotel and whisked through the DC traffic to our tour of Mt Vernon. Our guide was affable and quite knowledgeable as we made our trek to the destination. We did some quick stops of old-town Alexandria with many interesting side notes of history of the area. Once at Mt Vernon we were directed to the different sites with interesting historical references. Mt Vernon is located in a beautiful area along the Potomac River. However, our visit to Mt Vernon was flawed by construction and remodeling of many of the buildings. Once our visit was completed, we had lunch at the Mt Vernon Inn restaurant. After which we were taken to the Arlington National Cemetery. This area, too, has beautiful views, but once again there are stringent entry rules. We again are herded like cattle to and fro. However, our guide was a pleasure and very calming as we worked our way into the cemetery. She helped negotiate the many rules and restrictions because of construction and the many funerals that day. Overall, the views were beautiful as we glazed hillside vistas into downtown Washington DC. The mood was somber, but grateful to many great Americans laid to rest who helped shape our great country. Thanks to our guide, we had a wonderful and enlightening trip
