Loved Jerry the guide, he took us to some many places to visit, very friendly and knowledgeable, we drove through downtown, all the way to the base of Goldan Bridge, through Presidio, Lombard St and Gardens are superb

Wonderful experience--actually had a view of the Golden Gate Bridge I never knew about. Interesting back stories and myth busters. Ullrich, our guide, was quite knowledgeable and patient. Loved seeing the seals. We saw somuch, but wished we had time for even more.

great tour, saw plenty of San Fran. Driver was friendly, relaxed and knowledgeable. We were only 2 on the tour so we had a "private" tour!!! Loved it.

I would DEFINITELY recommend this tour! Tour guide Greg was very knowledgeable of the San Francisco area and history. Was skeptical of the not so great reviews, but we had a fantastic time. We saw tons of areas and learned a lot! Very pleased!!

This tour was ok. Our driver had lots of information, but was somewhat hard to hear and understand. We saw lots of SF which we really enjoyed seeing.
We made a stop at the Japanese gardens. I asked why as there was not much to see or do in the area ion the time we had. Driver said to get somethin

This visit did not meet our expectations and left us wanting more.
First irritant as soon as we boarded: a large sign, clearly visible on the sun visor, indicating that the expected tip is 20% of the total price paid. Not very subtle... You still have to give an exceptional performance to claim to deserve $40 per couple, which was not the case.
Points to improve :
Overall, lacks content depth and organization. The guide should present, preferably with the help of an illustration, the map of the circuit and the different neighborhoods that will be visited. Then, he should give the generalities concerning the city of San Francisco: surface area, population, ethnic groups, religions, etc.
The first hour spent in the port was uninteresting: 20 minutes going in circles, 20 minutes walking on the quay, 20 minutes buying brioches... The guide added 45 minutes to the planned time, but that didn't make up for it for the weakness of the information.
Great disappointment: no stop in front of the City Hall, despite its remarkable architecture and seat of municipal democracy. We would have enjoyed stopping there to soak up the place and take photos. More information would have been in order: history, architecture, political organization, famous people, etc.
In short, a tour for visitors who like to look and who have little expectation for knowledge.

Premier irritant dès notre montée à bord : un grand panneau, bien en vue sur le garde-soleil, indiquant que le pourboire attendu est de 20% du prix total payé. Pas très subtil… Encore faut-il donner une prestation exceptionnelle pour prétendre mériter 40 $ par couple, ce qui ne fut pas le cas.
Points à améliorer :
Dans l’ensemble, manque de profondeur et d’organisation du contenu. Le guide devrait présenter, préférablement à l’aide d’une illustration, le plan du circuit et les différents quartiers qui seront visités. Ensuite, il devrait donner les généralités concernant la ville de San Francisco : surface, population, ethnies, religions, personnages illustres, etc..
La première heure passée dans le port fut sans intérêt : 20 minutes à tourner en rond, 20 minutes pour marcher sur le quai, 20 minutes pour acheter des brioches… Le guide a ajouté 45 minutes au temps prévu, mais cela n’a pas compensé pour la faiblesse des informations.
Grande déception : pas d’arrêt devant l’Hôtel de Ville, pourtant d’une architecture remarquable et siège de la démocratie municipale. Nous aurions apprécié y faire un arrêt pour s’imprégner du lieu et y prendre des photos. Davantage d’informations auraient été de mise : histoire, architecture, organisation politique, etc.
Bref, un tour pour des visiteurs qui aiment regarder et qui ont peu d’attente pour les connaissances.
