Overview

Without the crush of summer crowds, wintertime in Yosemite National Park offers a chance to experience the famed scenic attractions in peace and solitude. On this 2-day tour from San Francisco, leave the driving to your guide you can sit back and enjoy the snow-capped Sierra Nevada scenery.

Learn about the history of the park during a guided coach tour of Yosemite Valley, which is framed by the park’s most iconic attractions including the granite cliffs of Half Dome and El Capitan and the icy cascade of Yosemite Falls.

Enjoy plenty of leisure time to explore the winter wonderland however you choose. Snowshoe through giant sequoia groves or secluded trails, take a guided hike or enjoy some old-fashioned ice skating at a rink with a view of Half Dome (own expense). Stay overnight inside the park at the cozy Yosemite Lodge at the Falls or Curry Village.

I truly enjoyed the 2-day Yosemite tour. Our guide MITCH was very kind and thoughtful — he spoke slowly and used simple English so that even I, as a non-native speaker, could easily understand. He also took us to many great photo spots and helped us take wonderful pictures. Everything was well organized and the hotel was in a great location — very convenient and comfortable after a long day of exploring. I also made new friends with other participants, and we had such a fun time together. I really appreciate the guide’s kindness and highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Yosemite.

Yosemite was very good.And very friendly staff Aaron. Although it was delayed due to serious traffic congestion, Aaron responsibly helped us return. Recommended.

I was very disappointed with this tour. They left me at the hotel and the day after, picked me up. There was no Winter tour, nothing. I had to plan my day and a half by myself, nobody helped me. It is very expensive and there is no tour at all. If you are planning on going I highly recommend to take your car or just find a way to get there. Make your hotel reservation on your own. The rest, anyway is going to be by yourself.
