We had a fantastic time at this gelato and pizza making class in Rome! They were all so incredibly welcoming and made everyone feel at ease from the start. They catered perfectly to my gluten-free needs, which I really appreciated. The experience was fun and inclusive for all age, our children (9 and 11) were fully engaged and had an amazing time. A wonderful, memorable activity for families. Highly recommend!

This was such a fun experience to do while in Rome. We have a 7 & 9 year old and they said it was their favorite thing we did in Rome! A must for families- super interactive and fun!!! Great Value for the experience!

10/10 Our instructor clearly has a passion for food. Pizza making and the ingredients are not the same as in the states. Great experience for our family to do together. They gave us the recipes and names of the ingredients, which I regret I misplaced! Hold on to that info bc it made a big difference in how pizza tastes and how much better it is for you with premium ingredients. Highly recommend.

Gulio was a great instructor. He made sure our gelato and pizza instructions were able to be understood so we would be able to make them when we got home. It was a great experience.

Giovanni was an excellent teacher who offered precise instructions and insights throughout our pizza and gelato making class. Giovanni didn’t have a say in this but I do wish management had let him go ahead with the class rather than wait 30+ minutes for 4 latecomers who later multiplied into 8 latecomers and raised the class cap to 14. Again Giovanni was an amazing instructor, and we learned so much from him. The complications were beyond his control

Great Experience making pizza and gelato in the center of Rome. My family had so much fun interacting with the other guests and the instructor who was so knowledgeable and so much fun to work with. She really kept the group on their toes, and gave us so many tips to bring home when making our own pizzas. So glad we decided to do this tour. Don't think twice about booking.

We loved this so much! My 12 year old said it was the highlight of his trip! It was such a nice break from the history and the walking plus it counted as our dinner that night. The gelato and pizza was so much fun to make and it was actually delicious! I would definitely recommend this activity, especially for families with kids.

We had the best time making Roman-style pizza and gelato. Marco was a wonderful instructor—very friendly, engaging, knowledgeable, and encouraging. We would definitely love to have him and his assistant, Didi, again. The pizza was light and delicious—after making and kneading the dough, we personalized our pizzas with toppings of our choice. The gelato (which we made first) was also very good, and while they had a couple standard flavors (like vanilla), that day we also had the option of Nutella and coffee. They were all hits. We’ve done several cooking classes around Europe/Australia, and we all agreed this was one of our favorites.

Perfect Pizza & Sumptuous Gelato

We continue to be amazed and more than pleased at the excellent quality of our “make it, eat it” events through Viator. This was no exception! We found the location easily and were warmly welcomed by the young men who ran the show. Our instructor Marco and his assistant Rubel beautifully orchestrated our group of 11 as we first prepared our gelato so it would have time to freeze by the end of our meal. Then we began the process of making our own pizza crust before adding numerous toppings that were available. Marco’s instructions were modeled so we could follow along each step of the process. Then we watched as Marco and Rubel slid our pizzas into the very hot oven for their brief cooking time, then they were done and we were ready to enjoy the fruits of our labor. Tasty wine, our homemade pizza and two kinds of gelato made for the perfect meal, thanks to Marco and Rubel and the fabulous ingredients! A fantastic and fun experience!

Brilliant and memorable evening. Great teacher and the class was both fun and informative. Relaxed atmosphere, great location and the food at the end was delicious. This was a lifetime experience and a highlight of our trip! Super unexpected! Hanging in Rome I got the idea that I wanted to heighten my life skills and learn how to make some pizza. Turns out anyone can be taught in one evening how to make an awesome pie, drink some wine, and make some friends. I’ve made pizza 4 times in the past month thanks to this class. Great instructors, easy to get to, and so worth the price. Thankful!

My wife, teenage son any myself just came back from a family vacation, where we too part in the Pizza and Gelato making class. We had a great time! Our chef/instructor (Julio I believe?) was patient and informative...definitely very good Would definitely recommend!
