Intimate and friendly. Great class with light humor. Our chef encourages shy people like my son to participate and spoke english with a itailian accent and was easy to underatand. Our class size was 11 guests. Excellent explanation of the prepreation and measurements with quality ingredients. All ingredients were from italy and provided aprons. Was provided a recipe book at the end of our class. Great for familes.

The cooking class was very good. We made 3 different gelatos, suppli and made our own pizzas. The chef directed us in making our own pizza dough and later made our own pizza using toppings of our choice. Lots of toppings to choose from. The gelatos were made from scratch then frozen. The food was delicious. The chef was great and provided us with recipe books and completion certificates.

Loved this experience! Alessandro was an excellent teacher- very engaging and enthusiastic! My 13-yr old daughter loved it as well. And the food was amazing of course. Highly recommend!

OMG…I had the best experience. The group was so intimate and cosy. The chef was exceptional and had so much knowledge for us all to soak up. You are taught every step of the process with lots of guidance. It’s fun and you don’t have to take yourself too seriously. I’d recommend to anybody staying in Rome for sure! Plus, I was completely unaware of the strikes on the trains and Crown Tours knew I was travelling and they gave me so much guidance, more than I could have asked for. Lastly, after too much limoncello and wine, I left my headphones! The staff were so accommodating and helped me locate them in the building and I picked them up first thing the next day. A big thank you for going above and beyond. I will always use Crown Tours again for future trips.

We had a great private class with Davide where we made suppli, pizza and gelato. He was very nice, funny and a great chef. We l loved this class!!! The instructor, Jacob, was so knowledgeable, personable, and fun. The time flew by as we learned to make an Italian appetizer, our personal pizzas, and gelato while sipping on delicious wine. It was the best pizza I’ve had in Rome and I made it.! I’m inspired to make all of the foods back at home. Thank you for this beautiful, delicious memory of Rome!

Easily the best cooking experience and one of the best activities I've had a pleasure in being part of. Max is a fantastic teacher we made easily the best Pizza that I had in Rome and the Suppli was amazing, we all loved the Gelato and would love to take another class with him.

Alessandro was fantastic. The class was exactly as advertised. He taught us to make three delicious dishes. Best of all he gave my 13 year old son lots of useful hands on tips to kneading and shaping pizza dough, the differences between Roman and Neapolitan pizza dough, selecting which pizza toppings go together, hand rolling and frying the supplì (a sort of fried risotto ball), and juicing fresh lemons for the sorbet. He was also funny and patiently answered every question. He was flexible in our no meat request and best of all we got a recipe book, list of great gelato and pizza places in Rome, and great pictures and good to take away :-) highly recommend!

Our family of 7 (5 adults, 2 teenagers) had a amazing time. We scheduled this on our last day in Rome and it was a highlight of our trip! Max showed us how to create authentic Italian pizza, suppli and gelato. He was awesome and our family really enjoyed every minute of the cooking class. The food, wine and company were excellent and we appreciated topping off our trip with a wonderful experience.
