A nice afternoon sail. I think I expected more speed, but it was a leisurely sail. I wish the website or Viator shared more about what to expect and how to dress for the excursion. I messaged the company through Viator and never got answers to my questions. If you are prone to motion sickness, take some medication. The boat does bob around. The travel path goes to just to the diamond head lighthouse and turns back. You zigzag a little in front of Waikiki. It made for a pleasant afternoon on the water but, as I said not exactly what I expected.

This was nothing more than a booze cruise. The captain/driver was clearly not looking for whales. He was busy chatting. I understand that whales are fickle and that you cannot count on them. He clearly didn't care or make it look like he was trying. Don't bother with this group. They did honor the no what try again policy. Not Not Not worth the money.

Great experience! We saw a few whales and even some turtles! The drinks package was nice but you can have a great time without it. I went solo and enjoyed it but groups and families also had a great time.

The crew were very friendly and helpful. But no whales in sight. But the cruise was very good. And seeing the whole wakikii was nice.

If you’re looking for something fun to do in Waikiki, I highly recommend this excursion with Holokai catamaran. The crew were so friendly and accommodating. They took our pictures and offered complimentary cocktails. You won’t be disappointed.

This is a great ride out in the waters if you love being on the water with a few nice bumpy waves, but mostly very relaxing. And first mate are awesome and fun. If you’re looking for cultural education and a tour that describes things, this is not yet. It’s very windy out on the waters, you probably wouldn’t even be able to hear them if they would talk so just sit back relax and enjoy the beautiful blue waters, and the wonderful breeze.

We saw Whales Breaching. It was Beautiful! The Captain and crew were so gracious and friendly! My husband had had a heart attack and I'd spent a month in Hawaii while he recuperated so it was a very healing!

We got there on time, and the guy on the boat waved for us and left us. I talk to them after and see if they can give us another time or we get our refund but they said no.

Upon reviewing your booking, we noticed you were unable to reach our office for check-in 30 minutes prior to the sail.
Unfortunately, despite our attempt to assist you by phone and direct you to the beach boarding location, you weren't able to connect with our team before the prompt departure at 3:00 PM. Which is outlined in our confirmation email to ensure a fair and consistent experience for all guests.
Our refund policy does not allow for cancellations/refunds within 24 hours of the sail, even in cases of missed boarding.
You did contact our Sales Office after missing the boat and while we empathize with your disappointment, we cannot tolerate profane language and verbal attacks during interactions with our team members. It's important to maintain a respectful and professional environment for all.

It was good and worth the money
The drinks were plentiful and the crew was pleasant. I'd book again . You can do the drink band or pay per drink. It's also cash only for the bar. The water can get rough so if you have a sensitive stomach bring some meds

I chose to do this sailing experience to relax after a couple strenuous tours. This was a perfect experience as the weather was amazing, the drinks were delicious and a great mix of people to have conversation with during the outing. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking to relax out on the water.
