Everything was perfect! The staff were all so very sweet and helpful. The views of Waikiki and Diamond Head were spectacular. Our party of 5 enjoyed every minute of our tour. We saw a ton of fish, some turtles and a whale spout. We really enjoyed the music they played which added to the experience. Highly recommend and I would love to do this tour again in the future.

I had an excellent experience! The crew was amazing I didn't feel out of place being the only alone person with a couple of families. The crew did great at explaining things and keeping it safe. They also did great at making it fun playing great Tunes and just really providing a wonderful experience. We also saw a lot of turtles 15 or so! And two whales!! It was the highlight of my week in Waikiki

If you have sea sickness or motion sickness DO NOT TRY.They did not warn us about this, and there were several families who were puking! Even though half of the boat sickness, they took forever to take us back to shore. But overall, the staff were really nice and they handed out water water to everybody, even though they didn’t ask.

We are sorry to hear that some guests experienced motion sickness. Because our tours take place on the open ocean, the movement of the boat is a natural part of the experience. We find that guests who are prone to sea sickness typically take precautions before boarding to ensure their comfort.
Regarding the timing, this is a scheduled 2.5-hour water activity. To ensure all guests receive the full experience they booked, we remain on the water for the advertised duration. While we do our best to assist those feeling unwell by providing water and support, we must fulfill the tour for the entire group.

This was a top notch experience with my family of 3 children and my husband. A great value and unforgettable experience for my family. We saw MANY turtles, a tremendous variety and amount of fish, and were well monitored and safe during the entire experience. After snorkeling, we did some free swimming in the ocean and enjoyed a boat ride around the ocean in perfect weather and with fun and professional hosts. This experience was a true treasure for our family vacation, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun, safe adventure in the ocean!

We definitely saw sea turtles, about 5, including a large one! The supplies were fine, mask and snorkel worked well, fins were adjustable for my small feet, flotation vest adjustable. Hard to take underwater pics w the vest on.
The waters were cloudy from the sediment and maybe so many ppl. The sail did not go around Diamond Head as i anticipated, just out to sea and back, on very choppy water. No narration or sharing from staff, as I mightve erroneously anticipated, about Hawaii or Diamond Head. The staff were very nice and responsive. I was anticipating more interaction and humor and fun, as others mentioned in their reviews. There was very little interaction with staff, we were pretty much on our own. The waters were very choppy on the day of a full moon, so many felt nauseous.

The turtle canyon is right off Waikiki beach (you can see the boats just outside the breakers) and the water is not very clear and very few turtles. We saw 2 when we were there. I think you’d be better off to go to another part of the island to find clearer water, less people and more turtles.

I’ve been on some other excursions and have to say the crew made this one stand out. They were organized, professional, and super fun. Shout out to Chase, Abby, and Mitchel! Saw so many turtles and had a nice sail around the waters. We even saw whales! Even with crazy winds and a strong current I felt super safe with the crew

The crew from the 9 am 2/3/25 trip was fantastic. “G”Abby was our guide out to the reef. The current was strong and it was a lot of work to swim out to the reef, but the swim back was easy. Even from the catamaran we were able to see sea turtles. We also saw humpback whales. It was an amazing trip. Good to know-you need to be a good swimmer due to the currents, they use snorkel vests and only have life jackets for emergencies.

The whole process is very family friendly. The snorkel spot is a 5/10 minute sail from shore, the entire family had a good time. Crew was fun and helpful, they hide you in the water to spots where the turtles are hanging out. Nice to have snacks and drinks on board as well.

Amazing trip. We had the boat and crew almost to ourselves. Only 3 other people on the boat. We saw lots of turtles and lots of fish. The sailing afterwards was also great. Highly recommend!

I recently enjoyed this snorkel adventure aboard a fantastic catamaran in Honolulu, and it was an experience I won't soon forget! The moment we stepped onto the catamaran, we were greeted by a friendly and attentive crew who made sure everyone felt comfortable and excited for the day ahead.
The journey to our snorkeling spot was scenic and enjoyable, with stunning views of the coastline and the inviting turquoise waters. The crew provided a thorough briefing on safety and snorkeling tips, ensuring that both beginners and experienced snorkelers felt at ease.
Once we reached the snorkeling destination, I was blown away by the vibrant underwater life. But the highlight of the trip came when I spotted a rare sea turtle surfacing to breathe! It was such a magical moment to see this majestic creature up close in its natural habitat. The crew was just as excited as we were, sharing information about sea turtles and their importance to the ecosystem.
After snorkeling, we enjoyed a relaxing sail back, complete with refreshments and the gentle breeze in our hair. The whole experience was well-organized and truly enjoyable.

We loved this trip. The crew was amazing. Perfect mix of information and chill. The timing was great too. We had plenty of time to snorkel and didn't feel rushed at all. After everyone was done snorkeling, we had a nice sail. ---------------------------- A huge advantage of Holokai is the limited size. The boat has less than 30 people vs. others that have more than 50. The group seemed perfect, some people to meet, not crowded, all-in-all a great experience!

My wife and I visited Oahu for our honeymoon. Our first excursion was to snorkel with sea turtles. The crew was very friendly and knowledgeable. We saw several turtles and enjoyed the information provided by Chase who swam along with us. After snorkeling we sailed for a bit which maybe several folks on the boat sick. The sailing was just okay due to the slightly rough conditions on the water. Overall a fun excursion and very cool to see the turtles in their environment.

Amazing experience. Nice boat, great crew. Took a quick boost ride to tutrle canyon where we spent at least an hour in the water. We saw turtles, colorful fish and dolphins swam close to our boat. After we went on a relaxing sail with beautiful views.

Wonderful crew and fun snorkling and saw several turtles and many other fish. Ended up doing the 12pm snorkel instead of the 9am. And ended up booking the sunset cruise after our snorkel. Also was a wonderful time!

This was a great experience. The boat was clean and nice and the crew was so fabulous! We were able to see some turtles and lots of pretty fish. Then we sailed out to the ocean and it was so beautiful. We'd definitely do this again.
