What a great time! 2 hours was a perfect amount of time, the crew were excellent, the boat beautiful and the brief sailing after snorkeling was relaxing. The equipment provided was of good quality, and we saw tons of beautiful fish, a bunch of turtles, and had a great time.

The dinner & fireworks cruise with Hawaii Nautical was excellent. My family really enjoyed the food, beverages and breathtaking views. Also, the crew was extremely kind and provided outstanding hospitality. We loved the fireworks and the music. This is one activity you must do while in Hawaii.

First things first… The shark review!!! Solid shark shaped 5 stars! For 50 years, I’ve had a “never will I ever swim within eleventy million miles of where sharks may exist!!! But today…today as soon as we got to the shark spot, me and the sharks, we made eye contact and it was love at first sight (for me at least). Watching them watch me watch them watch me watch them just majestically swimming around all cutsie like, them just as curious about what was going on above the surface as I was about what was going on in their beady little eyes below the surface…I stopped myself several times mid hand wave. Like, they’re sharks and haha not going to wave back, but I swear we understood each other. I named them. Don’t judge! Ok so THE CREW review!!!!!!!!!! (Saved best for last) 5 solid, bold print, italicized, underlined, bright yellow stars for sure!!!! Knowledgeable, comforting, assuring, honest, protective, confident, very informative, and all def vibed “kind and decent human being” energy!!! I had some autistically prepared context questions that, autistically, I wasn’t prepared to ask so I def appreciated their informative group lecture which answered my questions anyway! Phew! Do the tour! The crew is so awesome that even if the sharks are a no-show, you will still enjoy their vide and knowledge and compassion. 5 solid stars!

We kept hearing that the best way to watch the Friday fireworks was from the water. Viator had a great option with Go Hawaii Watersports on a catamaran. We arrived at the dock about 6 pm and the line to the check-in was very long. It was no fault of GHW; it was because nobody ready a freaking email fully anymore. They had to complete their waivers at the dock instead of prior. Okay, enough of that. We were ushered down the dock to this lovely boat. There were numerous dem hands to help us on board. We grabbed a seat up top. Although the website suggested BYOB, quickly the captain advised all the drinks and snacks were free! A There were Mai Tias and various soft drinks as well as bagged sweet and salty snacks. Hard to believe they could do this for such a reasonable price. The entire crew was great! They took customer pictures and delivered Mai Tais and snacks, even on the upper deck as the boat bobbed in the water. The tour did not disappoint. There was a beautiful sunset and we could see the city and Diamond Head in the distance. The night turned into a family party with everyone laughing and chatting with each other and the crew. And no joke - it was the place to see the fireworks. So good from that angle. Wonderful end to end. Use Go Hawaii Watersports for this and any other watersport needs.
