Best Whale Watching Experience
We had the BEST whale watch experience. We were able to meet a momma and baby. They were both breaching out of the water, splashing around and showing off for us. Our guides were professional, knowledgeable and knew all about the whales and the local scene. 100/10. Highly recommend.

A Great Family Adventure
Our family had such a great experience! Dan was our morning tour guide up to Haleakalā. He gave such great information & history about the island and his dad jokes were on point. I highly recommend winter layers, it was 25 degrees when we arrived around 5a and windy- You will be outside waiting/watching- yes, they provide wind suits but good layers are vital! The sunrise was breathtaking, totally worth the early morning wake up call! After the sunrise we went for a few more pictures with Dan before he passed us off to Dru for the bike portion. Dru was so fun, brought a great energy and had a stellar wingman that made us feel so safe! Everyone on staff listened to our concerns with care, provided us with the best safety instructions, and created a fantastic experience for our family!

Bombing Maui in the Rain!
We met Matt and Eric in front of a closed, flooded Target on 3/23/26. Maui had been hammered by rain for two weeks with more expected during our ride. We soon found out that all the other riders had canceled and it would just be me and my wife! Offered the option to cancel, we immediately declined. Matt agreed to take us and continue as long as the roads remained safe. The four of us chatted during the ride up Haleakala to our starting point. We are experienced cyclists but Matt gave us a safety briefing anyway. Rain gear was also provided (and greatly appreciated). The bikes were solid Trek Marlins and we were also provided with MIPS helmets with flip up visors, a very nice touch! Matt definitely knows what he’s doing and I could tell he knows how to manage a group ride! The first part of the ride was great with only a misty rain and lightly wet roads. The segment was made up of some gentle turns and rolling road sections with a nice short hill climb toward the end to make sure you’re paying attention! We stuck mostly to the shoulder and inside lane for this part. After a quick break, it was time for some downhill fun! Eric followed in the chase car, staying in touch with Matt by radio. We rode center lane, cruising through many downhill switchbacks. The rain was increasing but Matt managed the pace very well, keeping us safe at all times. We then hopped in the car, were treated to delicious homemade coconut muffins, and made our way to Makawao. We were offered the opportunity to spend a bit of time in town but the rain was coming down hard and we wanted to keep riding. Matt agreed to continue as long as the roads remained safe. Again, we set out riding the shoulder / inside lane for a mile or so, after which we moved to center with Eric blocking from behind. If you’ve never bombed Maui in a hard rain, you don’t know what you’re missing! We finished this longest segment in Paia, cruising through more downhill switchbacks and ending completely drenched with huge smiles on our faces! The ride back to town wouldn’t have been complete without more amazing homemade treats, this time Passionfruit Bars! My wife and I will definitely ride with Matt again next time we’re in Maui! Maybe the sun will even come out and we’ll actually be able to see the far off landmarks Matt pointed out along the ride!

Best Sunrise, Beautiful Bike Ride, Great Tour
The sunrise was breathtaking, the whole experience of the color changes is a spectacle. Dan was an awesome tour guide, very funny and knowledgeable, gave a great tour. The top of the summit is very cold, definitely wear layers, you'll be able to leave your extra layers in the van for the switchbacks. You will need to take the layers for the second portion but you can use one of their backpacks or bring your own. The bike ride was very fun. The road is tight but it is totally doable for almost all levels of rider. We did self guided and are not avod riders and we did fine. It was also raining on and off. The top does not get rain and at the switchbacks the weather was perfect, near the bottom we got rain and that sucked a little bit but they provided rain coat and jackets that are a resistant material. We had breakfast at Ohana Island Grindz and it was delicious. Overall and awesome experience that I would reccomend to all!
