Erik was awesome. He’s super knowledgeable about Hawaiian history. He treated us to fresh pineapple, apple bananas, banana bread. Despite the rain, it was a blast. We saw waterfalls, giant sea turtles, and enjoyed all the views. He made multiple stops and took photos of us and even created a video for us. I highly recommend him!

Perfect tour from start to finish! Very informative, personable and friendly. This 4 hour tour covered everything we wanted to see without feeling rushed, including photo ops our tour guide snapped and personally sent us at the end of our tour (also included). Wonderful assortment of beverages and snacks including fresh fruit and local banana bread. If you're wanting a tour with lots of people this isn't for you. If you want a peaceful and relaxing no stress tour then look nowhere else!!

It was just 5 hours of driving on the road to Hana . No jungle and a small waterfall for 30 minutes watching the guide and his family get pictures for his site

You are complaining About the jungle, not being jungle enough and the waterfall, not being high enough?? The road to Hana has been voted the most scenic drive in the United States nine times the whole drive is through a rainforest. We see no less than 30 waterfalls throughout the day. The one we stop at is high enough to jump off of. I think any car full of happy ppl would have rubbed you the wrong way.

Our tour guide Eric was excellent. Extremely professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. He gave us history of what he showed us. Definitely worth it. I was soooo glad we didn’t try this trip on our own. He knows his way around, plus he’s an excellent driver.

Trip was overpriced just a drive on Hana Hwy. The drive was long and it’s dangerous glad a native was actually driving. Stop a few places took pictures and waterfall.

The road to Hana has been voted the most scenic drive in the United States. It is a series of waterfalls and stops along a scenic road. I’m sorry that it was not all that you expected. Our tour guide Erik was very informative about Maui history and kindly took pictures of us at all four stops BUT, WE NEVER STOPPED AT ANY WATERFALLS! When we realized we were returning to the starting point and asked about the waterfall stops our guide told us he didn’t realize we wanted to stop at any falls! On the Magical Waterfall tour!

However, I do want to share a little insight from my perspective. I noticed that one member of your party was eerily quiet throughout the day, and I perhaps incorrectly assumed that they might not be enjoying themselves. It wasn’t until later that I realize they simply had a more reserved nature!

My daughter and I had limited time in Maui and I wanted us to experience four events: walk in an Hawaiian rainforest with rainbow eucalyptus trees; spend time listening to a lush waterfall, see the infamous Green sea turtles, and stand on a lava rock beach. Eric made sure we hit them all and we never felt rushed. We couldn't have accomplished all these memories without him. He was friendly, informative, and a great host!!!!

This was a perfect way to experience part of the road to hana and learn about the culture in a half day tour. Guide was great in terms of providing info, taking photos, and taking us to specific cool spots based on our groups athleticism. Just what our family was looking for in terms of seeing more of the local sites without a full day, too active commitment. Guide very knowledgable, kind, and connected to the community. Would recommend!

Don’t hesitate if you are considering taking one of Eric’s tours! The extra effort he goes to will make your tour with him unforgettable. He offers to take photos of you, then takes his own photos of your experience, and then shares them with you at the end of the tour. We were grateful that he gave up part of Thanksgiving day to spend with us as that was the only day our cruise ship was visiting Maui. But Eric made sure we could see as much as possible during the time we had available. He had lots of snacks, water, cold drinks and tips, history, and information. He answered so many of our questions, and we asked them nonstop. One thing to understand about this tour is that you can’t easily see or visit the many waterfalls that dot the road to Hana. The road is narrow with a lot of traffic, and it is against the law to stop along the road where many of the waterfalls can be viewed. But Eric has built a trusted relationship with the owner of property where one waterfall is hidden from the road, and with his guidance, you can walk a short distance and come to a lovely little waterfall that spills into a round pool of COLD water. Granted, if you truly wanted to get in and swim, you could. And Eric would certainly give you the opportunity. But then keep in mind there’s no where to change clothing, and you’ll thus be getting back into a car where wet clothing/towels/etc. might not be as comfortable for the rest of the ride. (We were content to take photos and just enjoy the tranquility of the area.) Eric also takes you to some of the most scenic ocean views where you’ll see outrageous surfers and waves crashing onto lava rocks that make fabulous backdrops for your Christmas card photo! Or the tops of view points where you can see for long distances — another great opportunity for a photo that Eric will offer to take for you. The point is: Consider other tour options just so you can compare and realize what a great option Eric offers. He’ll give you a tour that will create memories that will last for the rest of your life (with photos to prove it)!

The tour agenda and pictures are misleading. We did not swim in a waterfall nor did we hike to two additional waterfalls. When I complained the owner said that I did not ask to do these two events on the itinerary. He even discouraged us from swimming at the one waterfall we stopped at. Very disappointing. When I complained the.owner was dismissive and blamed me. Fyi: it was only my wife and myself on the tour.

You did not appear to be physically capable of hiking. You never mentioned it, so how would I know that you wanted to ? You were welcome to swim at the waterfall but the lack of swimwear was probably a large reason for this. You also paid for a group tour and received a private tour.
Some people are never happy and there’s nothing I can do to change that

In all of my travels, this was the absolute worst tour/excursion I have experienced. To begin with, the guide gave 2 show up times. We were looking for a brown quest van and he showed up in a silver escalade. Then proceeded to be rude when we didnt immediately get out of our vehicle. The turtles were on a public beach we could have gone to on our own, there were NO monk seals, the hike through the rainforest/rainbow euclulyptis trees consisted of him pointing our 3 trees as we sped by going way too fast for the road conditions. The waterfall was very disappointing and a lot of the "information" he shared was not correct. He made my granddaughter feel very uncomfortable, his demeanor and driving. Would not recommend this tour to anyone. Very disappointing,

I picked you up 15 minutes early in a Cadillac Escalade. I’m sorry you had your sights on the Minivan. It’s always difficult having someone who is not capable of walking on a tour. It is difficult to stop at some of the stops when someone is in a wheelchair. It is necessary to drive a certain speed on the road to not cause problems. I’m a NAI certified guide with a CDL license with a perfect driving record. I did my best to alter my tour for your disability. I hope you have a great cruise and safe travels. I’m not sure what I could of done to offend your 40 year old granddaughter but I apologize for whatever it is.
I’m not even going to pretend I know the suffering of being paralyzed and I don’t even blame you for being unhappy.

What an experience! I wanted to tour the road to Hana but was interested in doing the drive myself. This booking worked out perfectly! Erik is very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. He took photos so that I could actually be in the pictures with my family for once! All around this was a fun tour and I would highly recommend it for people who wish to stay away from the larger tour groups.

Fyi- the road can get very curvy you might want to take motion sickness medication if your prone to getting car sick.
