Fantastic experience from...

Fantastic experience from start to finish! We started with the flight to Hana and the drive back in the afternoon. It was nice to be able to have a leisurely morning first. The helicopter ride was super sweet and the views were amazing! This was followed by a picnic lunch that was very good as well as filling. We were able to visit the Black sand beach in the early afternoon, so the weather was perfect for going to the beach! Scotty was a wonderful guide and pointed out all the best photo opportunities. We also stopped at a few places of interest and still made it back for dinner. I highly recommend this experience. In the span of six hours we go me to Hana, ate, and drove back. We were still able to have a leisurely morning and be back for dinner!

Road to Hana: Must Do!

This is a terrific excursion for learning about Maui, its history, flora and fauna, and Hana in particular. Our guide, Philip, was terrific. He was a skillful and knowledgeable driver was is paramount on this excursion. Narrow roads and lots of sharp curves and turns throughout the day. He has a deep knowledge of Hawaiian history in general and Maui and Hana in particular. There were varied stops along the drive: waterfalls, banana bread, turtles, windsurfing and surfing and scenic points. I recommend it highly. Thank you, Philip!

Zip lining wasn’t the only thing we took away from our event

There was a perfect morning to go zip lining. My husband and I were very grateful that we went first thing in the morning to avoid a hotter afternoon. A little bit of hiking to get to each zip line and during those moments, the crew introduced us to certain plants. (Ginger) and explained a variety of footage to us. They also didn’t hesitate to get to know each individual better. The safety of each individual was very important to the two crew members. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and would definitely come back and do it again.

Amazing views you cannot miss

This was a total out of comfort zone for me, I really enjoyed the views. Ethan was excellent providing information about what we were seeing and getting in close to the waterfalls and things don't want to miss. Highly recommend booking if you want to see areas that you cannot get to on land. Nobody likes giving their weight but it is necessary for safety. You are weighed when you check in and the computer assigns your seating for proper balance. So when you provide your weight take into consideration clothing (especially shoes) and how far out you are booking. We booked 6 months out, and of course a few of us went up instead of down in weight 😉. A memory that our family will cherish, being able to experience it together.

Unforgettable Time

There were numerous helicopter companies to select from. The reason we went with Maverick is because of the rainforest landing. What a cool experience! Our pilot, John was so chill and kind. We loved that he had music on in the background so that we weren’t just sitting in silence the entire time.

One of the best, if not...

One of the best, if not the best vacation experience we ever had and we are a well traveled family. Ride was very smooth and felt like you were on a Jurassic park movie set. We did the doors on experience we were seated in the back and was still an amazing experience. Was very easy to hear the pilot and gave an excellent narration during the flight. Very easy to park. Operation there is very efficient and well organized. I wish the media package was available for digital download because I don’t have a way to view it off a USB thumb drive on vacation, but that is the only note. Otherwise money well spent for the experience.

Perfect Tour

If I could give this tour more than 5 stars I would. I am so glad we booked the doors off tour. We were extremely blessed with perfect weather, a double rainbow, and all waterfalls flowing. The views are truly stunning. The helicopter was a thrill to ride in and my 9 year old felt a lot more comfortable with a seat right next to the pilot.

Amazing helicopter tour

We originally booked the Hana Rainforest tour but were rerouted to Molokai and West Maui mountains due to poor visibility and cloud cover on Haleakalā. We were not disappointed at all! The flight was incredible and our pilot was very knowledgeable about the islands. Definitely a bucket list item- I highly recommend this tour with Air Maui!
