From start to finish Lauren was a fantastic guide! The tour covers the first few miles of the Road to Hana allowing us to see the painted eucalyptus trees, hike the bamboo forest and swim beneath a waterfall. A moderate, beautiful and enjoyable hike with some river crossings-your feet will get wet!

Absolutely incredible experience! Our guide, Sirena, was wonderful! We are a family of four, with two girls, and the tour was perfectly tailored to us. Walking through a bamboo forest, over creeks, through streams, and then ultimately swimming under an incredible waterfall (and a cave behind it) was just perfect. Would highly recommend.

Lauren was so great! Very knowledgeable and took us to a secret spot we never would have found. The tour was awesome! Views were amazing, bamboo forest was beautiful and the rope swing was fun.

This excursion was truly unique and exceptional. The hike through the bamboo jungle to the waterfall was great. We enjoyed seeing rainbow trees after the hike and the many turtles at Ho’opika park.
Our guide, Lauren, was wonderful. She was knowledgeable and shared her experience on the island while showing an interest in us. She truly went the extra mile in helping us navigate the hike and extended her availability since the excursion lasted longer than the allotted time. We were her only group that day. She even took pictures since we didn’t have our camera and provided another couple with a ride from the drop-off to a better location to pick up an Uber.
It was a fantastic day. Mahalo!

This is a great experience! At times we had to move slowly along the muddy, rocky trail. We managed to walk through a stream and get to a waterfall. Cold water but felt good after the plunge. Lauren was a great guide and was very patient with us She helped us a lot when we had to pick which rock should be our next step. The rainbow eucalyptus and turtles at Ho'okipa were a nice bonus.

My husband and I have visited Maui several times, but we wanted to explore something new on this trip—and this guided waterfall tour was the perfect choice. Mike was an amazing guide, sharing so much knowledge about the area and taking us to a stunning, secluded waterfall. We lucked out with the timing and even avoided the rain! This experience exceeded our expectations, and we would absolutely recommend it.

We had the most Incredible time. Mike was our tour guide and he took us to the most amazing stops along the road to Hana. We tasted passion fruit picked off the side of the road, swam in a waterfall and cliff jumped from a 25ft waterfall. Definitely was able to check an item off of my bucket list thanks to Mike! Wear your swimsuit as you will want to swim in the waterfalls. Book the tour, you won’t regret it!!

Micheal was a great guide he brought the adventure nature exploring we wanted to have during our vacation. He was very informative. Great video/photos of our adventure! We even got the waterfall to ourselves. In comparison to the other known waterfall stops along hana this was a nice private experience! He gave other suggestions that ended up being great as well to explore. We had fresh fruit along the trail growing too! Highly recommend!

The driver was high/drunk or impaired. We got two nonsensical calls from him the day prior and I managed to ask him how far to the Waterfalls. Instead the next day we drove 45 minutes from our hotel to the “meeting place” which we were told the day before was “about 30 minutes TO THE ACTIVITY. Instead we drove 45 mins to a bunch of industrial buildings with barbed wire fences WHERE WE WERE SUPPOSED TO LEAVE OUR CAR. Of course we were confused and when I called the driver, he never got out of what turned out to be a dirty, no a/c vehicle with towels all the seat cushions AND NOT ENOUGH SEATS FOR US. Instead he remained in the van until we parked and we approached the van. THE DIVER WAS IMPAIRED. We had no choice but to take our own car but then proceeded to drive an additional 45 minutes until we decided to turn back bc the driver couldn’t give us an estimate of how much longer (“I don’t know. Maybe 10 minutes, 40 minutes?”) We called Viator immediately and after a few weeks of run arounds, we were given a 10% refund on a $1300. tour for the six of us. I repeatedly had to contact them, by email bc there’s no verbal customer service, over and over and repeat my story despite their promising to review this “serious matter.”
All I was requesting was credit towards a future tour. The lesson is that unless you’re touring in the continental states, be very careful about these Hawaiian and international tours bc I feel that they are not well vetted. There are other tour companies which are better.

What an adventure was had with Lauren and Michael, who led our multi-generational family of 9 into the bamboo forest and waterfall. Both Lauren and Michael were the best guides, who went the extra mile to ensure we were well informed and safe. We had the best experience — we walked through beautiful scenery , crossed streams, climbed into waterfalls, played in the water and jumped off rock cliffs. Be prepared to get muddy and wet, which was part of the fun. I highly recommend Lauren and Michael for the Jungle Waterfall Adventure with Epic Maui Hikes.

Our guide was amazing sharing a lot of Island history on the way Sirena was very patient for first timers took the time to explain each step and to make sure each was accounted for in our group She allowed time to enjoy the waterfalls and shared some interesting information on the area Thumbs up from Tarzan and All terrain Momma and the rest the group thanks for all the smiles you created !

Must do!!! You could never find this magical waterfall on your own. We had an amazing time! There was a rope swing and rocks to jump from. We were the only ones there. It was so fun!!! Our family said it was one of the best things we did on this trip. Sierra was our guide and she made the experience even more fun. She was so knowledgeable about the island, knew exactly where to step while hiking and climbing so we didn’t fall and took some great pictures and videos of us

OMG! Fabulous day on this jungle hike in Hana! Mike our guide was awesome! Fabulous and funny. Kept us on our toes. Ended up being a private guided tour to 2 waterfalls which was epic. Mike also took us to a hidden private beach to see turtles. An epic adventure.

Phenomenal experience! Fantastic hike with stunning views and a beautiful waterfall at the end! We hiked in a rainforest type environment, over large rocks and streams. At the waterfall we were able to rope swing into the large body of water at the base of the falls. Our guide Sirena was fully experienced in the most efficient routes/pathways & was an extremely fun and outgoing tour guide. This was an amazing excursion and I would 10/10 recommend to able bodied individuals!
