This was an excellent tour for history buffs. The driver was so knowledgeable and shared history of the island in great detail. He served us drinks and wonderful Hawaaian fruits at a beautiful spot! The ride in the limo was an added treat

We didn’t get to the Maui Plantation until everything closed because we ended up stopping at the owner’s food truck so he could fix a problem. He gave us fruit from his food truck instead of stopping for lunch. It was mushy. He seemed more concerned about trying to take care of all of his other business. I would not do this again.

Thanks Nina, but you are lying because you did have drinks at Maui tropical planatation and the gift shop was open, a few of the shops may have been closed by the time we got there but you had a chance to go do shopping at the bazar and you votes on skipping that. Given the tour is 5 hours I made sure to show you guys everything and it went from 10:15-4:30. The fact that I stopped by the food truck for 15 minutes to start a generator really ruined your day and I understand that, 99% of the time people are happy to get a treat just like the other couple said the fruit was great and in addition I ASKED I if you wanted lunch or just fruits and snacks and it was your decision. At any point you could have made your voice heard and we would have stopped, instead you stooped to this and try to negatively impact my business. Nothing you wrote is honest or truthful. However we will gladly refund you all the money you paid, we want to exceed expectations but some people have some unrealistic expectation which are impossible to meet and we frankly dont want that kind of business.

The tour guide, Jonas, was very personable and worked to accommodate our group. He was very knowledgeable of Maui history and the places we visited were beautiful. One recommendation would be better communication regarding stops and setting return time to meet as well as better info regarding our pickup point

Our tour around Maui was truly special, thanks to Jonas. He was incredibly knowledgeable and went above and beyond to make the experience memorable. One of the highlights was being introduced to local fruits—we loved learning about them and getting a taste of something uniquely Hawaiian. The limo ride added an extra touch of luxury and made the journey around the island feel even more special. Highly recommend this tour!

Jonas is very pleasant and accommodating. He needs to get more organized and get his limo in better shape...clean it & himself, repair the inside, etc. He took us to places that we could easily have gone on our own, without paying his fee...a public park, swap meet in a parking lot, hula demonstration in the mall--we did enjoy this....but his limo broke down and we had to wait awhile for him to come back and pick us up....(we were hoping that he would come back & he did), a bird sanctuary, stopped in a parking lot to look at turtles, the Frank Lloyd Wright house that was designed for Marilyn Monroe, that is now a golf club (I felt like a trespasser when we were here)....most of these locations had nothing to do with the history of Maui...he did speak to us at the first place about some of the history, but he seemed to have a hard time keeping his train of thought. To be honest, hubby & I almost left before the tour started because of the sketchy pick up place....I'm sure we saw a drug deal go down (Jonas had nothing to do with that, he wasn't there yet)! I even texted my family where we were, in case they never heard from us again...& the couple we were with did the same thing! When my husband asked to see Jonas's id, Jonas was very surprised that we even asked....he never did produce his id. I am sorry to give a negative review, but I hope that Jonas takes this advice & improves his excursion...I do not want other people to have the same experience that we had.....I gave 3 stars, but I was being kind!

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I am truly sorry that the experience did not meet your expectations. I would like to clarify a few points for future guests. The locations we visited are the ones listed in the tour itinerary, and many visitors enjoy them as part of the historical route. The limousine is a classic 2006 Lincoln model that has safely serviced many guests over the years. During your tour, there was a brief mechanical issue, but it was resolved quickly so we could continue safely. Regarding the pickup area, it is a standard meeting spot commonly used for cruise ship guests on Maui, and it has always been considered safe. My family and I are Lahaina fire survivors — we lost everything in the fire and are working hard to rebuild our lives and return to serving visitors again. I take pride in offering a warm, genuine experience to every guest, and I am sorry that the tour did not feel that way for you. I appreciate all feedback, and I’m grateful that the majority of our guests leave positive 5-star reviews that reflect the care and effort we put into each tour. What can I say, you have to meet Jonas! Jonas (the driver) loves the island, he is the nicest person my family and me we meet on the island. He took us on a tour with my wife and my kid around Maui that we will never forget! Jonas was able to pick us from the Hyatt Regency per my request, no problem with that. He stopped during the trip on the most wonderful places including an old museum in where we learn the history of Maui. We saw the huge turtles by the beach; we went to the most beautiful gold course you will ever see anywhere with the most beautiful view of the mountains. We stop by the Maui fruit truck, and I cannot tell you how delicious the fruits they sell on that place! I eat star fruit for the first time, and I end up with an entire box which I took back to the Hyatt hotel. You have to book Jonas limousine if you are in the island of Maui, you won't regret it, see some of my hundreds of pictures. Thank you so much Jonas for the excellent service you provided to my family, we will never forget that.

This was an interesting tour of central Maui. Jonas our guide had interesting commentary at each stop. The view from the Golf Club of the Central Valley from north to south coast was quite spectacular. An unscheduled side trip to Lahaina proved to be very special, as we got to watch the very talented glass blowers at Moana Glass, and were treated to a delicious fruit cup from Jonas’s Fruit Truck there. We also got to watch giant green sea turtles. On the con side, the limousine was very awkward to enter and exit, and the plastic seats were uncomfortable. We seniors with limited mobility had to crawl in on our hands and knees. A helping hand on exiting was welcome when it was offered, but often we were left to fend for ourselves. I believe a whale watching viewpoint was on the agenda, but we didn’t go to one. We were taken back to our port about one hour earlier than was advertised for the tour.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. I’m very sorry that the limousine felt difficult to enter and exit that day. Normally, I always use my stretch limousine with an extra door that makes it much easier for guests to get in and out. Unfortunately, it broke down unexpectedly, and I had to use another limousine without that extra door. I understand how this created challenges, especially for seniors with limited mobility, and I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. Regarding the whale-watching stop: we did not include it on your tour because the whale season had already ended and sightings at that time were extremely rare. I should have communicated that more clearly, and I appreciate you pointing it out. I truly value your input, as it helps me improve our tours. I hope we have the chance to welcome you again in the future, with the proper limousine and a smoother experience.

Great tour, plenty of water, local beer and snacks and champagne. We learned so much, and had a great time. Jonas is a wonderful host. Our only confusion, is that based on our emails back and forth that this was a private tour, but we shared the limo with another group. I had inquired about perhaps swimming/snorkeling, but then there was another group, so we missed out on that. There could have been a little less detail in some areas, I would have liked a little less detail in some of the history, but loved our day, and the lunch stop was amazing.

This tour was convenient to the cruise ship. We rode in a dated limousine with a friendly and very informative driver. At each stop he shared detailed history. In addition to detailed island history we experienced beautiful stops and scenery. This excursion had some flexibility on timing and stops and the tour operator, Jonas, was accommodating. I think what was lacking was more narration about the area along the way and a structured lunch break. We drove by a couple places and lunch was suggested but it never happened. Jonas offered drinks, snacks and some fresh fruit. Compared to other excursions we took this had less value for the money.

Aloha, we apologise for not meeting your expectations, we never know if clients will prefer to get lunch or if they prefer to wait until getting back to the cruize ship. Its always a hit or miss so we try to keep it flexible, we try our best to highlight places with historical significance and enjoy keeping the day flexible however mon-sun one of our stops is closed and that might sometimes shorten the day.

We had a great day touring with Limo Jonas and his family. We loved everything and were glad we got to see some sea turtles, go thru the enchanted Forest to Honoloa Bay, walk on the coastal trail and even the old mill coffee and store. Everything was great! Thanks for a great tour of Maui!!
