We had a wonderful tour and saw all of Lisbon’s iconic landmarks. Our guide, Diego, was amazing. His breadth of knowledge about the city and its history brought Lisbon to life in a whole new way. His presentation was conversational, engaging, and full of interesting insights, making the experience both enjoyable and memorable. Fabulous day with Diogo. We were 7 people on this tour. We had a great guide and visited terrific places. Diogo made sure we saw percent spots for photos and explained the history. We had a lot of fun and would recommend this tour to all.

Pickup is included from central Lisbon hotels, Lisbon Cruise Terminal and Lisbon Airport. Please provide the name of hotel, your cruise ship or your flight number, depending on the case. The tour begins at the time indicated on the voucher at the chosen location.

Itinerary

Depending on the departure time selected at checkout, board an air-conditioned vehicle at your Lisbon hotel in the morning or afternoon. As you travel through Lisbon’s charming neighborhoods, receive an overview of the city from your personal guide.

Stop off at select belvederes to enjoy panoramic city views and scour districts such as Baixa-Chiado and Bairro Alto for important monuments. Then, hop off at the Igreja and Museu São Roque to explore its lavish confection of jewels, art, and gold at your own expense.

Following this, be charmed by the quaint streets of Chiado before heading to Belém, a scenic riverside district home to Belém Tower (Torre de Belém), the Monument to the Discoveries and the Monastery of St Jerome (Mosteiro dos Jeronimos).

Sample an exquisite pastel de Belém—a custard tart made according to a secret recipe—and spend a while beside the Belém Tower (Torre de Belém), enjoying views of the Tagus River.

Your tour concludes with drop-off at your Lisbon hotel.

Amazing Experience

This was an excellent tour, it felt like much longer than 4 hours in the best possible way. Our guide, Diogo, was extremely nice, very knowledgeable, and happy to answer any and all of our questions! He was very funny, made us feel comfortable, and overall, made sure my girlfriend and I had a lovely time. Definitely a great time and highly recommend to a get a taste of everything LIsbon and some suggestions so that you can plan the rest of your trip out accordingly if you have not already with some of the local hangouts and cool views we did not know existed!

Best way to understand and see the city of Lisbon!!

Our guide Diogo was knowledgeable and so calm navigating the streets of Lisbon. We landed in the am and decided to keep moving on our first day in Portugal so we could adjust to the time zone. What an amazing 4 hours with such great insight from our guide. This was the perfect setting to see the city, get an understanding of the history of Lisbon and the variety of neighborhoods. He answered any questions we asked, took his time to give us details about all the places. Good Variety of Sites Visited & Great Guide

Daniel was our guide. He was prompt in picking us up. He navigated the roads in a safe and courteous manner. He provided a wealth of information about Lisbon’s (and Portugal’s) history, culture and trivia. His communication style was easy to understand and comprehend. He provided an appropriate amount of detail without information overload- unless we asked more questions. He is the best guide we have ever had. The tour was well laid out. We started at the top - on a hill (Miradouro Da Senhora Do Fora) with an overview of the city and its history. We worked our way thru a variety of neighborhoods. We would drive from one neighborhood, walk a while, then drive to the next stop. It was not physically challenging. It was an overall great experience for the four of us.

A very complete and comfortable tour. Our guide Daniel was excellent, 5 stars. He was very professional and knowledgeable. We traveled with our 6 month old baby and Daniel was very patient and accommodating. The tour included the correct rear facing infant car seat. We were so pleased with our experience that we decided to book a Sintra tour the very next day with this company and Daniel as our guide. Highly recommended.

This was not the tour that I had signed up for. We didn't explore the various neighborhoods of Lisbon or go to high spots where we could take pictures of Lisbon and the water. The topic for 3 hours was the history of the Jews in Portugal. We stood on cobblestone streets for over 2 hours listening to our guide lecture to us about the same topic. I wanted to get an overview of Lisbon .This was a huge disappointment, very boring and the worst Viator experience we have ever had.
