A Little Disappointed

First let me say that our guide was excellent. My issues with the tour was that based on the description I expected a defined itinerary. We were asked to define what we wanted to see. We were able to sort that out but we were relying on the knowledge of the tour company to build the itinerary. The larger issue was that the description of the tour was to include tickets to specific venues. Reading deeper it was pointed out that we were supposed to select the option to get the tickets, at an increased price, I assume and it was never mentioned in the description. And the language in Viator indicated that tickets were included. Like I said the guide was good.

Sintra but without the main event!

We Didn’t actually get to see the iconic Peña Palace (not even a drive past) which was the main purpose of booking this trip out of Lisbon. We still don’t understand why, but by the time we realised we weren’t going there, it was to late (we did go to Cascais beach area instead but couldn’t enjoy that because of the rain). The guide Joao was very knowledgeable and friendly and he made sure we saw a lot of Lisbon (just not the main event in Sinatra!).
