Jo did an awesome job and really knows her stuff! She took us to 3 different bars and we wouldn’t have ever visited those bars if not for this trip. Great tour!

It really doesn't have much to do with pubs. There was a lot of walking and not a lot of spirits in the bars themselves. It seemed like she had us get a drink just to waste some time. She was very interesting and informative, but it wasn't what I expected. I have been on ghost tours in many cities and ones including pubs, and this had the least to do with that.

Where do I begin, her knowledge and enthusiasm of Charleston‘s ghost hauntings and bars were unbelievably in-depth and fun! She was into her character so much that our approximate 2 1/2 hour tour turned into a 3 1/2 hour tour! It was by far the most fun booze:/ghost tour I’ve ever been on!

Not as expected. The tour was very light on ghosts and heavier on history. A different guide might have made this more endurable but we simply could not finish the full tour listening to Vanna and chose to leave after the 2nd bar.

Vannah was extremely knowledgeable about the area and the history. She is very animated and this helps to keep you engaged. She also had her infrared camera to look for orbs as well. Would def rec this!

It was our first time in Charleston and we happened to find this ghost tour looking for things to do ahead of our travels. So glad we did! Vanna was awesome and so knowledgeable, the tour was fun and informative. The people in our tour group were very funny and enjoyable to walk around with. Who wouldn’t love a good boozy bar crawl with a great amount of boos 👻?

We had such a great time on the Boos and Booze Tour with Blakey! She was incredibly knowledgeable, told amazing stories, and made the whole experience so much fun. It was the perfect mix of history, humor and mystery — plus we stopped at a few of my favorite Charleston bars, including Henry’s and The Blind Tiger. Such a fun experience for both tourists and locals alike!

Our tour guide Vanna was very energetic and enthusiastic about the ghost and booze tour. She was also very entertaining! We were somewhat disappointed that we never went in a grave yard or cemetery, only in the parking lot or sidewalk next to them. Bring your money because you go to 3 bars and buy your own drinks.

If you have a history lover in your travel group, then absolutely take this tour. Ghost stories are fun too. The pubs are a fun way to break up the walking.
