What are people saying about Charleston

My First Food Tour — and What a Way to Start!
I finally took the plunge and did my very first food tour, and I couldn’t have picked a better city than Charleston to do it. What an incredible introduction to this kind of experience — I’m already wondering why I waited so long! Our guide, Crystin, made the whole thing. She was warm, funny, and clearly in love with Charleston’s food scene. She wove stories about the chefs, the neighborhoods, and the Lowcountry culinary traditions into every stop in a way that felt natural and genuine — never like a rehearsed script. By the second stop, our whole group felt completely at ease, laughing and chatting like we’d known each other for years. She has a real gift for that. The food was just phenomenal. We hit spots I never would have discovered wandering around on my own — from tucked-away local gems to iconic Charleston flavors done exactly right. Every bite felt purposeful, and the variety was spot-on. I left with a much deeper appreciation for just how rich and layered the Charleston food culture really is. As someone completely new to food tours, I wasn’t sure what to expect — but this absolutely exceeded anything I could have imagined. By the end, I had a full stomach, a camera roll packed with photos, and a list of places I’m going back to before I leave town. If you’re in Charleston, do yourself a favor and book this tour. And if you’re lucky enough to get Crystin as your guide, you’re in for something really special.

Cooler than just a history tour
This tour was amazing! Bruce, a seventh generation Charlestonian, is a wealth of knowledge. He has so many great stories and access to beautiful, hidden gardens and properties. I would have never learned all about Charleston’s elites and past history without this tour.

Well organized and...
Well organized and informative experience. The ferry ride includes amazing views of Charleston Harbor and historical perspectives from a tour guide. At the fort, we were given a comprehensive overview of the fort and its history by National Park ranger.

May afternoon groundbreaking information.
Ok. brass tax. Bill is well educated on the history of this city and gave us an amazingly well lectured tour and dispelled some myths. It left me thinking about history. He answered all questions and as we moved around was thoughtful of not impeding other walkers. Highly recommended. Kudos!!
