Meet your guide at the Charleston Maritime Center in downtown Charleston 30 minutes prior to departure, and check in at the blue and white ticket booth onsite. Learn the basics of onboard safety before heading out into the Charleston Harbor. This is not a narrated tour, but the captain and first mate will be available throughout the sail to answer questions and point out local landmarks.
Cruise under the iconic span of the Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge as navigate along the scenic harbor, and enjoy an mellow playlist of music. See the Battery, Fort Sumter, Fort Moultrie and Charleston’s scenic lighthouses from the water—with unobstructed views, this is the perfect time to snap photographs of the iconic landmarks.
Relax on deck for nature’s sunset show: the sun sets directly over the land, lighting up the clouds and waterfront. Soft drinks, beer and wine are available for purchase, and you’ll finish your harbor cruise back at the Maritime Center, close to some of downtowns best bars, restaurants and cafes.

- Paid parking is available in the SC Aquarium Parking Garage (5 minute walk) or at the parking meters on Concord Street. Please keep in mind that street parking can sometimes be difficult to find. The Charleston Maritime Center (owned by the City of Charleston) sadly does not offer parking to the public. However, passengers are allowed to be dropped off. As you get closer to the water look for the blue & white Sandlapper Tours ticket booth on the left dock. Feel free to call if you have questions or need help.

We loved our sunset crew with Captain Michael Phillips & Dallas. It was an absolutely beautiful evening with a stunning sunset. Captain Michael was an incredible guide, creating a fun experience on the boat while also teaching us lots of history and fun facts during the tour. We laughed and smiled lots. It was a very romantic sunset tour for my husband and myself. Highly recommend! The best experience we had during our time in Charleston. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The sunset cruise was great! It was just the right amount of time, our captain and his assistant gave us some great history. We got some beautiful sunset pictures and just regular pictures as well. It was a very low-key vibe which was beautiful. They worked really hard to make sure we enjoyed it.

Captain Mike is a cool dude, and Nicole was very sweet. My wife and I really enjoyed the sunset cruise boat ride. They made it a fun and relaxing experience, and we would definitely recommend it!

Beautiful sunset boat ride around the Charleston harbour. The captain and first mate are so very friendly and knowledgeable. The captain provided good information on all the sights we went by as well as just who can afford some of those historical homes and giant yachts as well as figures on how much some properties had sold for. The first mate is just the sweetest young lady who made sure to speak with everyone on board and get to know them a little bit. She'll also take sunset photos of you and your family or date on your phone for you. Sunset was gorgeous! Definitely more relaxing to see the sights this way versus walking in the heat.

Mike was a great captain, explaining so many things about the locations on our trip from the ship we saw, to the houses, to the people who owned the houses and the history about everything! I learned so much about Charleston and the area! I would recommend the cruise to everyone. We also saw many dolphins and he took pictures of many people on board. The woman on board with him (I forgot her name, sorry) she took pictures at sunset of practically everyone on the boat, that was pretty awesome! They worked together very well!

One of the highlights of our trip to Charleston. Captain JP and first mate Rhi were so awesome!! They were super knowledge about the area and Rhi about the wildlife. They played music when not sharing interesting information. Vibes were great and bar selection was nice.

Super experience would go again. The length of the trip was perfect, the staff was attentive, knowledgeable and very helpful. The boat was clean and comfortable. We saw many dolphin, and pelican, and they came quite close which was great. The sunset was beautiful, just a wonderful experience. It was a highlight of our trip.

Captain Mike and Nicole were awesome. They were both very personable and knowledgeable. The captain stopped the boat a few timws to let us see dolphins and to let us take pictures of the beautiful sunset.

They really went out of their way to give us a great dolphin experience. It was raining but I think that made it even better because with all the boats in dock, the dolphins came out to play! The boat is comfortable and clean.It was amazing.!

It was a nice boat ride but unfortunately we didn’t have a sunset. The bartender Kate was very sweet and took everyone’s picture. Our captain was friendly but a bit loud for an evening/sunset cruise.
Overall still a nice boat ride.

We have been on many boat rides throughout the country. This is by far the one of best experiences that we have had. We also saw some dolphins.
They took our pictures. The energy and vibe was so amazing. Robbie and Katie were hospitable and entertaining. Would do it again. It was worth every penny.
