Informative, Pleasant and Worth It
We're very glad we took this tour to and of Ft. Sumpter. It was well worth the money and the time.
Our tour guide was pleasant and knowledgeable!
The captain of the boat chimed in with helpful information from time to time too.
The boat was clean and comfortable. Plenty of seats inside and outside. Some in the shade and some in the sun.
We saw dolphins and even one jellyfish close to the dock.

Comfortable....
Comfortable. Informative.Ferry was clean. Left on time and returned on time. The fort had great views. Enjoyed the raising of the flag.

Summer at Sumter was a hit
Ferry ride was informative and created many great picture taking opportunities. Fort Sumter was well marked for safety and the museum and gift shop was good.

- The Fort Sumter Visitor Education Center offers an excellent introduction to the national monument.
- The visitor center and boats to the national monument are accessible to wheelchairs.
- It’s a good idea to purchase your ferry tickets to Fort Sumter ahead of time to ensure a spot.
