The best guide of Rome

Guilio our tour guide was absolutely amazing. He was so excited to tell us about the history of everywhere we went and made it all so interesting. Would definitely recommend this tour for anyone who wants to see everything in the city, understand the history of the city, but also wants to give their feet a break and relax while driving around Rome. Also helped us narrow down places we really want to explore more. Lastly Guilio even booked us a table for lunch when we told him we wanted something authentic and dropped us off there when our tour was finished. Magnífico!!!!!

Great Tour for Highlights and Families

We took this as a family of four with a 16-year-old and 11-year-old. Our tour guide was excellent and extremely knowledgeable. It also helped that she was a teacher for kids the same age as my 11yr old son she made it very entertaining and engaging for him.

10/5 - book immediately and hope for Cristina!

I'd give 10/5 stars if I could! We originally booked the underground, and Tours of Rome gave us a heads up well in advance that we could either cancel or do their Full Experience tour (at a discounted price, equivalent), and were very communicative with any questions we had. Cristina was an amazing tour guide, super friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and even took us on a couple of side quests since we were making good time. The amount that we learned looking back and reflecting was amazing, and her being part of the archaeological community really gives her a cut above a standard tour guide. Couldn't recommend this tour company in general, and if you get to go on a tour with Cristina, you're in for a massive treat!!

Our tour Guide Kasha was...

Our tour Guide Kasha was friendly, had good English language skills, and was knowledgeable about Rome’s history, architecture and social/religious/political events. She wove antidotes into these historical narratives.. The tour consisted of must see places like the Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon, but also included hidden gems and secret passageways. We’d highly recommend this tour.

Amazing experience with Antonino

We had a great experience on this tour definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Rome. We started at the Fontana del Tritone, then visited the Catacombs, the Basilica dei Santi Silvestro e Martino ai Monti, and finished at the Capuchin Crypt, which was definitely the highlight. The bone displays were amazing. Our guide Antonino was brilliant, really knew his stuff and was clearly passionate about the history. Would definitely recommend.

Pompeii’s Top Sites

We had a wonderful day visiting Pompeii. Maxi was our bus driver and got us to and from smoothly. Even sitting in the back of the bus we didn’t feel sick which is a credit to him! Our tour guide was Carlos and my husband and I agreed that we wouldn’t have enjoyed the site half as much without all of the information he provided. I don’t know what the maps/information look like at the site since we didn’t need them, but at other major historical sites in Rome we found that more information would have been nice. We left Pompeii feeling like we got a really good breakdown of the most significant parts. Of course the 3 hours each way does limit the time you have at the site and there was much, much more to see- a tour guide is definitely recommended. There is the option to add a hike Vesuvius and one mother/daughter pair had booked it but decided they’d rather stay and learn about Pompeii. Carlos reassured them that there are other volcanoes but only one Pompeii. Overall it was a great experience and I would recommend it to anyone interested!

Great tour

Our tour guide was wonderful! She answered all of our questions & gave us so much interesting information throughout the tour. We also got gelato as part of the tour which was really nice also. You get to see so many sites and learn about them and she knows the best ways to get around so it doesnt take you all day either. If your going to rome, especially for the 1st time this tour is a must in my opinion.

I had a wonderful time with this tour. Our tour guide Alessandra helped us make it inside the Vatican as swift as possible considering how hectic the entrance can be. In this tour you’ll be able to take a shortcut to get you to the Sistine chapel and another for Saint Peter’s Basilica. It’s a nice detail considering how many people visit the Vatican everyday. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and patient with everyone. Highly recommend.

Great tour and hope Olga is your guide

Very informative and the guides are incredible. It was a treat to have Olga as our guide for the Vatican portion of the tour. This tour is full of incredible facts and gives you plenty of time in between to grab lunch and make it to the next tour. I went in June, so be aware of the heat because it is a lot of walking and can be very hot.
