Good tour as long as you don’t get travel delays on the way there

A good day out covering some wonderful places. Due to weather delays en route some of our stops felt a little bit rushed. I would not recommend the cafeteria at the Black Beach: waited half an hour for food. Time which would’ve been better spent watching the Ocean as it’s an amazing place and when my food came it was rubbish anyway. The south coast is beautiful, but some of the stops do deserve a little bit more time. I think each of our stops was cut short by about 10 minutes or so so that we could catch up on time lost travelling. This might not have mattered as much except some people had booked to go on the northern lights tour in the evening so we had to get back to Reykjavík for them, which was a little bit frustrating. Overall, it was a good day but felt a little rushed at times

Golden Circle lived up to the name

Fantastic tour of the golden circle in Iceland! We got to see so many beautiful sights and it was nice to not be on a huge crowded bus like the cruise lines provided! We had a fantastic guide and he was both patient and knowledgeable. Blue Lagoon was also a treat -- what an experience! Would definitely recommend.

This was so much fun! We got the premium experience and loved being away from the heat and getting a little bit of extra knowledge and Q&A dropped on us. This was a great tour!...

This was a great tour! For my first day in Reykjavík as a solo traveler, it was the perfect way to orient myself with the city. My tour guide Minty was very personable and took the time to get to know everyone in the group. He made the informational side of the tour engaging as well. All in all, the food was delicious and Minty had a lot of great insight to share with the group!

Travelling with a 2 year old on bus tours!

We are a couple travelling with a two year old from the UK. What you need to know about bus tours with small children in Iceland is that they need to have a car seat, we brought one with us as we found the request for a seat doesn’t mean the bus turns up with one. No car seat, no bus tour. The bus was easy to locate at the bus station and the guide, ours was Albert and drivers name was Bartek, were friendly and professional. My 2 year old immediately made friends with Albert. The bus was clean and comfortable but there were signs for no eating or drinking on it which wasn’t necessarily ideal for a young child but there are opportunities to eat lunch off the bus. The actual tour destinations and drive to get there were scenic and spectacular although as to be expected very busy with tours. For those, like us who were not really sure what to do and are first time visitors here then it’s a good way to get some of the popular tourist destinations in with someone else doing the driving!

Do it, you won't regret it!

Great whistle stop tour of Thingvellir National Park geological attractions, mid atlantic ridge, fissures, Geyser and other hot springs, gullfoss waterfall. Our guide Dillon was attentive and knowledgeable. Well paced with educative and folklore history. Really liked that he used a visual time sign for when to return to coach, especially good for those who don't speak English or are ND. Snowmobiling was great fun. It takes lot of strength to control in the wind, with the leaning side to side so you do need to have a basic level of physical fitness. Warm overalls, buff, helmet and gloves were provided on the day. So glad we had taken a bungie to keep the phone/camera safe whilst filming as its a very bumpy ride. Exhilarating and absolutely breath taking scenes on the glacier. It was stunning! Highly recommend lunch at the Geyser visitor centre, one of cheapest we found was self service canteen. There is a water refill point in here too. Toilets available at every stop so no idea to worry when heading out for the long day. Coach was comfy, well heated and had usb points for phone charging. A bonus compared to other companies.

Wonderful trip to see waterfall, crater, hot springs, continental divide

Excellent guide, Guna(?). Awesome person and excellent driver. Was able to fully see all the listed sites, and a bonus stop to see the Icelandic horses up-close. Weather was clear as well. Con: It would be better to start maybe half an hour early so that we could spend at least 5-10 minutes more at each site.

Amazing!

Definitely recommend this tour. There is loads of room on the boat for indoor and outdoor seating. The boat was massive so although other tours had cancelled on the day we went on the boat you couldn’t feel the waves. The boat was well staffed with a marine biologist providing fun and engaging commentary about the wildlife, they even took pictures and emailed them to us after the trip. We saw the whale banana and he came up to the surface so many times it was magical! 100% recommend this tour.

Our Golden Circle adventure with Bus Travel Iceland was unforgettable — largely thanks to the hilarious and insightful Andrea. From standing between continents at Þingvellir National Park, to dodging geyser fake-outs at Geysir and Strokkur, every stop felt epic. Gullfoss soaked us in mist and drama, while Kerið stunned with volcanic reds and blues. Andrea’s storytelling, humour, and Icelandic music turned geology into theatre. We discovered many “Golden Circles” — history, weather, snacks, and song. Educational, chaotic, magical. Five stars. Would stand between tectonic plates again. 🌋🚌✨

Great day at Sky Lagoon

We loved our time here we came to watch the sunset and got to see it from the outside water and also the big huge plate glass window in the sauna room. It was awesome! We did not do the cold plunge because it’s outside and the temperature was in the teens. Nobody was getting in the water that day in the cold plunge! The staff was great and we opted for the private changing area. It was very much worth it as you got a shower by yourself and could change and had a locker. We took a city bus there and had to walk quite a bit to get to the Sky Lagoon, but it was worth it.

Incredible experience!

I would absolutely recommend this once in a lifetime opportunity. It was incredibly beautiful. The dry suit keeps you dry and warm. Full disclosure, your hands most likely will be cold, but it's well worth it. Your lips are cold and tingly for all of a minute before there is no pain at all. Our tour guide was Kevin and he was great!
