This Golden Circle day trip meets in Reykjavik. Once in your vehicle, set off on Iceland’s Golden Circle circuit. A guide tells you about the ecosystem of the areas you visit during the day.
Your first stop, Kerid Crater, isn’t part of the regular Iceland Golden Circle adventures, but is well worth a stop. Enjoy a visit to the volcanic crater before moving on to see Strokkur geyser.
After Strokkur, stop at the stunning Gullfoss Falls and then head to Thingvellir National Park.
At the national park, learn about the park’s movement of its tectonic plates. Once your Iceland Golden Circle tour is over, it drops you back off in Reykjavik.

I had a wonderful experience on the Golden Circle tour. Our guide, Sara, was amazing—she shared great historical insights and fun facts throughout the day and kept everything organized with clear timing and meeting points.
The driver was also excellent, and I felt safe the entire time.
The team was very attentive and made sure everyone was taken care of, which I really appreciated. Highly recommend this tour!

This was an amazing day even when the coach broke down it was handled so well and smoothly that it didn’t affect the day at all the guide and driver Gary and Eugene were amazing really looked after us all the stops were fantastic loads of time to do whatever we wanted I will say I think longer at the kerid crator and the national park would have been preferred and less time at geyser but that’s just my own interests but it was truly amazing

Great way to see the main highlights of the Golden Circle if you only have a few days in Iceland.
Would have preferred slightly longer to explore each stop - the views are breathtaking! - but understand there was a lot to pack in!
The onboard commentary from Sunny was pitch perfect - informative and interesting, without being overloading - and with a sense of humour too!

Need waterproof trousers and good outdoor coat. Tipple of gin went down nicely on the bus. Made the most of the horrendous weather conditions. Still beautiful sights especially the waterfalls highly recommend

We saw all the sights we wanted to see and the tour guide was nice. Let down however by the fact the windscreen on the bus had multiple cracks and looked like it was about to smash through, and we actually got leaked on through the leaky roof on the bus. I don’t think that it should have been in use. Also frustrating how the driver was making personal phone calls using his earphones but was so loud we struggled to hear the guide talking over the microphone. She tried to introduce him and he continued his personal conversation which was embarrassing for the guide. The guide herself was lovely and very informative. The timings were good at each stop and we saw what we booked to see. Just felt very budget and at times unsafe with the cracks the glass - the staff had to keep using tissues to dry the inside where the water was leaking in. We used this company for the south coast tour and got a brand new very smart bus and lovely driver - maybe just unlucky here

As for the driver's phone call, that is simply not acceptable conduct during a tour and has been raised with the relevant party. We booked this excursion for 10.30, but with hindsight would have booked earlier as it takes a full day, back at 7. All in all a great day, plenty of stops, and the tour guide was interesting and informative.

We had snowy weather, but it made it exciting. The views were spectacular. There is some walking and rough terrain if you want to see the cool stuff, so hiking shoes/boots are a must. Our driver and guide were awesome! They even sang to us! So great!

Our Golden Circle adventure with Bus Travel Iceland was unforgettable — largely thanks to the hilarious and insightful Andrea. From standing between continents at Þingvellir National Park, to dodging geyser fake-outs at Geysir and Strokkur, every stop felt epic. Gullfoss soaked us in mist and drama, while Kerið stunned with volcanic reds and blues.
Andrea’s storytelling, humour, and Icelandic music turned geology into theatre. We discovered many “Golden Circles” — history, weather, snacks, and song. Educational, chaotic, magical. Five stars. Would stand between tectonic plates again. 🌋🚌✨

Andrea and our driver were absolutely outstanding! Andrea gave us an unforgettable experience from start to finish. She was incredibly kind, patient, and engaging, and she shared so many fascinating facts about Icelandic folklore, mythology, daily life, and the rich history of the country. You can truly feel her passion and knowledge in the way she tells every story. Our driver was equally fantastic, making the journey smooth, safe, and enjoyable the entire time.
Tour started at the Thingvellir National Park, then we went to Gulffos Waterfall, the Geysers and the Crater. Every place was mind blowing! Icelandic nature is amazing! We even had a quick stop to see some icelandic horses… definitely a nice surprise!
Pickup was on time and the buses are labeled, so you can’t miss them. This tour exceeded our expectations in every way. I highly recommend booking with this company. You won’t regret it!

Excellent tour - you are on a big coach so this is not a small group but plenty of stops and toilet on board the coach. Only downside is the stops are short, you can’t walk to the top at the Geiser for example as your time is just not enough. But as an intro this was great, bakery on route was yummy too.
