Our guide, Silly, from Wake Up Rekjavik was so friendly and personable- she really has a gift for sharing the culture and leading this experience for a small group. We had 14 I our group and it was just right. Whole family- even teenager approved! Highly recommend!

What a fantastic trip, I’m so pleased we booked the golden circle as it was certainly one not to be missed! Our driver was Anna & we felt so safe with her driving especially with the road conditions but I guess they are used to it! Our guide was Lena who was so full of knowledge & kept us updated with everything. My favourite part was probably the waterfall, it’s probably the prettiest waterfall I’ve ever saw in my life especially covered in snow & ice it’s just breathtaking! Watching Strokkur erupting was also a special moment not to mention the geothermal pools everywhere. I highly recommend this trip & arctic adventures!

Sky Lagoon was an incredible geothermal spa experience. The water was perfectly warm and so relaxing. The seven-step ritual is a must—it’s the best way to fully experience Icelandic culture. They also have drinks, food, and a great gift shop, and the changing rooms felt like a luxury spa. Definitely worth it!

Great excursion to see the main sites

This tour covers off the main sites that you would wish to see on the golden circle. It’s a long but very informative day with plenty of stops along the way and you get a good amount of time at each attraction so you can explore and look around. There are also lots of food and drink opportunities. The bus is comfortable and our guide Walter was excellent and kept us entertained all day. Everything you see is incredibly beautiful. Each location is well set up with facilities for food and gift shopping and comfort breaks.The final stop at the blue Lagoon is worth a visit, but in my opinion, I’m sure there are better less touristy geothermal pools to visit if you have the time to explore. For me, it felt a little crowded and overdone but other people loved it. Overall, this is a highly recommended day out.

Great tour to the Golden Circle

We had a terrific tour! Our guide, Kris, was so good and told us a lot about Iceland, the population, and the places we visited. He was a great driver and took us safely to all places through strong wind, fog and big snow storms! Highly recommend Kris and this company for guided tours! Lastly the bus was very nice and comfortable with woo fii and usb to charge your phone!

This was so much fun! We got the premium experience and loved being away from the heat and getting a little bit of extra knowledge and Q&A dropped on us. The lava handlers are very friendly and knowledgable and really add to the entire experience. Our entire group loved this and would recommend everyone should check it out!

This tour was amazing....

This tour was amazing. The golden circle part itself was a smaller portion of the tour due to the snow mobility part of this tour. We stopped at several places for restroom breaks, snacks. Not a lot of time to sit down though and relax or eat, mostly all the eating was on the bus with the quick stops for breaks. The snow mobiling was great, went with my husband and daughter (13) I drove one of the snow mobiles, it wasn't hard by any means, they explain how to use the snow mobile, it was so fun. Be careful I almost tipped over. The bus driver and the guide were amazing, shared Icelandic artists/music loved that, and they got us there and back safely. It was EXTREMELY windy that day, icy roads, so thankful for them.

Wonderful trip to see waterfall, crater, hot springs, continental divide

Excellent guide, Guna(?). Awesome person and excellent driver. Was able to fully see all the listed sites, and a bonus stop to see the Icelandic horses up-close. Weather was clear as well. Con: It would be better to start maybe half an hour early so that we could spend at least 5-10 minutes more at each site.

Amazing!

Definitely recommend this tour. There is loads of room on the boat for indoor and outdoor seating. The boat was massive so although other tours had cancelled on the day we went on the boat you couldn’t feel the waves. The boat was well staffed with a marine biologist providing fun and engaging commentary about the wildlife, they even took pictures and emailed them to us after the trip. We saw the whale banana and he came up to the surface so many times it was magical! 100% recommend this tour.

Our Golden Circle adventure with Bus Travel Iceland was unforgettable — largely thanks to the hilarious and insightful Andrea. From standing between continents at Þingvellir National Park, to dodging geyser fake-outs at Geysir and Strokkur, every stop felt epic. Gullfoss soaked us in mist and drama, while Kerið stunned with volcanic reds and blues. Andrea’s storytelling, humour, and Icelandic music turned geology into theatre. We discovered many “Golden Circles” — history, weather, snacks, and song. Educational, chaotic, magical. Five stars. Would stand between tectonic plates again. 🌋🚌✨
