Amazing experience!

This was an amazing experience. Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. It is a bit of a trek up to the entrance of the ice cave but the guide paused in a few spots to let people catch their breath and to ensure everyone stayed together. It is not a trip for people with mobility issues or small children.

My husband and I spent 6 fantastic days in Iceland, and our super jeep tour with Midgard Adventure in Thórsmörk was perhaps the most incredible day of them all! Our guide, Torri (apologies if the spelling is incorrect) was amazing! He took us on an unforgettable trip through this stunning part of the country and packed it full of great stories, facts, hikes, views, and memories I will have for a lifetime. Torri was also excellent about ensuring everyone was comfortable and went at a pace that was good for them. If we wanted to press on to a particular area, we were encouraged to take our time and not rush. If anyone hit a point where they wanted to turn back or stay put, he was also very accommodating. I would heartily recommend this to anyone who wants a truly spectacular experience in the Icelandic highlands!

An amazing combo!

Benjamin was our guide in the cavern. He was very knowledgeable and personable, and kind of funny! We started off with the Safety video and got our helmet and went on our way. The tombs are absolutely amazing! It was very enjoyable, and I would absolutely recommend this tour! The second part of our excursion was the snorkeling! Our guide was Nail(Argentina). She was very knowledgeable and explained the dive and the equipment to us very clearly. We walked down to the water and had our second dive review. When we were in the water, Argentina took photos of all of us that will be accessible to us later on online. The water at the dive site was crystal clear! I did have some challenges with the dry suit, however, overall is a fantastic experience. I would absolutely recommend this dive to anyone visiting Iceland! Hopefully you’d have the same dive guideI did Argentina!!

Not to be Missed!!

This was Fabulous! Our family loved every minute of riding ATV’s across the Black Sand Beach & over river crossings! We even got to see the old US dc3 plane relic left on the beach and learned about its history! Teen Boys loved it as did my husband! I was the princess backseat rider and enjoyed it all so much. Highly recommend!

Amazing trip!

The trip was incredible and I really enjoyed the whole experience! Our original time got cancelled due to weather warnings but the team were very helpful at resolving this and offering the earlier slot. We did get stuck out in the snow for a while but this was bound to happen with the weather conditions and we all got back safely and only around an hour and a half later than expected.

Land of Fire and Ice

Lava show in Vik (guided by Luis) introduced us to volcano science and Katla geopark. It was a nice way to learn a little about the area and its relationship/history with the volcano. We were going to explore the Katla geopark/glacier the following day, so the show gave me more appreciation for the landscape, the history, and the residents. Plus it was nice to sit back, share a beer during the show and remove some layers due to the rising heat of the room. (And the soup next door is pretty tasty too).

Our group of six had an amazing time on our private Golden Circle tour with BR Tours, booked through Viator. Every stop on the tour had the most incredible stunning sights. Our driver/tour guide Siggi was very informative, accommodating & friendly as well as an excellent, safe driver. Siggi never rushed us. We were able to tour all sights at our own pace. We also had a wonderful relaxing lunch at the cute and cozy tomato/ horse farm. Jon from BR Tours was my initial contact and responded to all questions without delay. Jon actually met up with us at the waterfall area of the tour to provide our group with crampons so that we could safely walk on the icy pathways. We really appreciated BR Tours going above & beyond which made for a most memorable experience.

Truly amazing!

Truly amazing experience! Did you know that far less then 1% of individuals experience this in the whole world?!? That’s crazy! The guide is very knowledgeable about how the glaciers have receded in years past, how to keep you safest and also making sure you are comfortable learning the process. As my tour bus driver said though “watch out for snow snakes, they aren’t like normal snakes…they tend to be your buddy Allen who throws a snowball at you.” What a truly great time! Activity level wise not as hard as I thought but you will be hiking a bit along with using your leg muscles, back and arms a bit. You will be sore the next day if you are a wimp like me 😂

100% Good chance to watch puffins

I was not sure to watch puffins because it was already mid August and heard that there was little chance to watch them in main Island. However we really enjoyed to watch many many number of them in Heimaey Island. Of course it is also good chance to know history and challenge of Heimaey Island. Ebbi provided good explanation of the island.
