Such an interactive educational show. You can feel the heat definitely for sure. Love the history, how they recycle old and obtained new lava, and how it was created the long hard work for behind the scene. They have a beverage bar, items to purchase and plenty of parking.
I did this since it was near the omnom - famous chocolate (show: down to earth by zac efron).
If you bought stuff like chocolates or anything similar - Just tell the bartender to hold ur stuff since it will be melting

We saved the Lava Show for our last day in Iceland. We chose to get the upgraded seats which we loved because we walked 2km from our hotel and were a bit warm from the walk. The upgraded seats gave us a drink of our choice which we could take into the theatre and a piece of lava for a souvenir. Ian was our guide and he was extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic which made the show even better. The video about Iceland and the volcanoes and the behind the scenes video were great! We definitely recommend this show if you have time in your schedule.

Great show by Alma, very knowledgeable. Very educational while keeping it interesting. The VIP experience seems worth it, you get some volcanic glass, an included drink, access to the VIP lounge that has different types of volcanic rocks and info about them, a higher viewing platform, an after show extra video, and you can ask the host more questions in the VIP lounge afterwards.

The lava was amazing to get so close and see its properites I had no clue. But, our host was amazingly knowledgable and maneuvered the lava in ways I never expected. So much cooler than the description. Suggestion to sit on the lower level so you can feel the heat.

This is a very unique show that is offered no where else in the world. I went with a friend and was very impressed by the whole process of melting down the lava and see it pouring down from the furnace. It was a cool show with lots of commentary on volcanoes and about the lava itself, how it acts, and the different stages of melting and cooling. I will do the show again.

Rico was knowledgeable not just about the lava but also about Iceland in general. Presentation was done very well. One more if you get the premium upgrade they seat you in the upper level so you are not as close but it works well because it is so hot from the lava. The upper level is only one row so there is not a bad seat.
