Golden Circle Day Trip
The tour of the golden circle is an experience of a lifetime capturing the amazing landscape of the tectonic plate and the geothermal activities of the golden circle area . The Gullfoss water fall is such an amazing sight . The tour guide is well informed and knowledgeable about the history of Iceland.

Incredible day out
This was a brilliant day trip! Our party was myself, husband, and our 8 year old son and it was well-paced, super informative, and the locations were stunning. I had done a golden circle tour previously, but this one was so much better. Our guide, Guna, was absolutely fabulous and I would book another tour with her in a heartbeat. Our lava tunnel guide was also brilliant. Overall the whole day was about 10 hours, but it flew by for us. We will definitely be booking with Arctic Adventures again.

Very beautiful country...
Very beautiful country and lot of memorable sights. The first 2 days were packed- a lot to see in a short time. Most sights were unique. However, the number of waterfalls we visited was too many. Maybe include 3 only- the one in golden triangle, tallest and widest. Our guide was very helpful, friendly, patient, polite and kind.

  • Wear comfortable shoes and layers no matter the season.

  • Most sites have paved boardwalks and flat ground for easy accessibility.

  • Don't worry about food and Wi-Fi—many tour buses include wireless internet, and there are plenty of restaurants and cafes along the way that provide both.

  • The Golden Circle route is one of the most popular day tours among travelers, so expect some crowds.

  • Don't confuse the Golden Circle with the Ring Road, which circles the entire country and is best seen with a rental car and (at least) a week's time.
